I was invited to my dear friend's birthday dinner at Kitchen On Main the food was incredible I had fish, I think it was pan seared grouper with a burre blanc sauce on a bed of risotto maybe with broccolini I wish I took pix. Everything was scrumptious the desert was delectable a really decadent dark chocolate treat that we shared. I want to go back soon, maybe for my birthday! read more

We enjoyed our meal - The food was good, but irritated they charged a $5 sharing charge! We spent right at $150 for the two of us, and only had 1 salad, 1 entree, 2 wines and a champagne cocktail plus the tip. Felt kind of pickle and dimed over the sharing charge! Really? read more

The best dinner tonight at Kitchen on Main from the beautiful presentation and superb service to the amazing foodI had the grouper topped with crab on risotto with grilled asparagus-so tasty-every bite full of flavor! Bread pudding for dessert was fantastic too! Don't miss the Kitchen On Main! Delicious read more

Won't go there again. The food was fine but not at the price point. Ribeye was decent but was the worst I've had in that price range. When you spend $48-$50 on a steak you expect something above and beyond... it was thin and just okay for the price. It was cooked exactly how I asked however. Drinks were way way way overpriced! The main reason I won't return is the mandatory 20% tip for parties six or more. I always try to tip more than that when the service dictates, but when you demand that, that's all you are going to get. Additionally, IF (big IF) you do feel the need to do this, the party size should be eight, not six. Our one wait person had no challenges whatsoever handling our party of six and it's offensive that they did a mandatory 20%. This is not to mention the 3.5% they charge to use a card. Overall, nothing all that special here that would ever make me return, even with a smaller party. If you want a truly excellent meal in this price range hit Gather in Atmore, or Big Mikes in Bay Minnette! read more

We finally made it to this amazing and highly recommended restaurant in Old Towne Daphne. It did not disappoint. We were able to get same day reservations for 5:45. This turned out to be a perfect time on a Saturday evening. I believe there was only one or at most two other tables taken when we arrived. It was getting quite busy an hour later. Every single aspect of the meal was perfect. I had the filet and my wife had the scallops. Our appetizer of one crab cake was also delicious. The side dishes were perfect, risotto, cream potatoes, and asparagus. The wine and cocktails were also top notch. Our server, I believe her name was Wendy, was also very attentive. Not a single aspect of our experience was less than perfect! read more

Great food like a French bistro. A bit crowded but the ambiance makes up for that and the servers are very friendly.

Terrific sandwich. Very popular place. Friendly staff. Perhaps a tad too loud and a little tight with all the tables and people. read more

Food was okay but the portions were small compared to the price. 5 bacon wrapped shrimp $25. Garden salad $15. Scallops entree with four scallops $39. Service was average. I wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend. read more

Drinks and ambiance was great! Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals, but I'd advise to stay away from the Filet Mignon. Service needs improvement. read more

we sat at the bar and Stephanie was our bartender and waitress. She is incredible!!! At her suggestion I had the Fish Special and It was FABULOUS !!! Can't wait to go back! read more

Kitchen On Main came highly recommended to us by a friend so we decided to give it a try. At first glance the restaurant gives you the feel of an upscale establishment with an intimate flare. The tables are simple but elegant. Each table had a place card showing the last name on the reservation. What a great way to make guests feel welcome. The staff were friendly and accommodating. There seemed to be a lovely selection of mixed drinks ranging from the classic Old Fashion to the nouveau Mojito. The wine list was average and the beer choices displayed were from the local Fairhope Brewery as well as the standard domestics. The menu itself offered small plates and shareables along with full plate items. The menu listed only one salad, which in this case, seemed less appealing. The salad boasted a sweet type of dressing combined with strawberries and blueberries. This, in my opinion, was a little off putting. Not every patron will enjoy this type of salad; another option would have been nice. I chose one of the specials, Beef Bourgeon served over creamy mashed potatoes, while my husband selected the flat iron steak served over homemade French fries. My husband enjoyed his choice, I was disappointed in mine. It came with virtually two very small pieces of beef, one pearl onion, ( the description stated pearl onions, mushrooms and carrots), a few mushrooms, carrots and a heaping amount of gravy. It lacked flavor, zero seasoning of any kind and it was lukewarm. Overall, I was a little disappointed. It was kind of like looking at a shiny new car. Everything appears to be fabulous. It looks great on the outside but when you get in, you realize it's a stripped down rental car. read more

One of the best meals two 59 year olds have ever had. BBQ shrimp, bacon sautéed Brussel sprouts, pan seared black Grouper, and a chocolate torte. Every bite was perfect. Nice atmosphere with soothing jazz piano and horns. We shut the place down on Tuesday night. read more

Delicious food, polite and capable staff, and a quaint location. We've dined there 4 times and will be back. Had a range of items from salads, to pasta, to beef. Never disappointed. Are the prices a little higher than some places? Yes, but maybe it is because their ingredients are truly fresh and high quality. A creative menu that has many options without overextending what they do best. read more

Incredibly good food in this tiny spot in Daphne. The small plates and salads are at from being small. Crab claws were big and fresh! Fried oysters and blue cheese were on a fresh bed of lettuce with a tangy citrus vinaigrette. Spring Rolls were hot crispy and perfectly fried. This is a must if you're living in or visiting Baldwin county. Have to reserve on FB Messenger, well worth the effort!! read more

Food always good service is always excellent decorating bistro style. Steak good choice grouper is prepared to order . Wine list is good.

Consistently great food. The grouper dish is my fave and the strawberry salad is large enough to share!

Eaten here several times over the year I've always found their food to be both creative and flavorful. They have good specials that sometimes can be outside the box. I enjoy that. Their filet is one of the best around. They have a grouper dish with Risotto that stands out too. Along with the good food is an enjoyable atmosphere. That's important to me. Service has always been good . I haven't notice unusual turnover in the staff which generally indicates good service. I think customers like to see familiar faces at a restaurant and KOM has that. Of the offerings in Daphne, this place is a regular spot for me and my family. They have nice outdoor seating and the inside is well spaced. My only gripe is that I sometimes like to eat late and they close fairly early. It's probably better for me to eat earlier so it's not a major issue. read more

We stopped by while running errands, just to have an appetizer and a glass of wine. Ended up having salad, gumbo and bread pudding. A nice Pinot to accompany. The gumbo is delicious, the best in the area. The bread pudding was very tasty, with a great mix of crispiness and moistness. The service was above average. We will be back; soon. read more

As with most restaurants the first few days were a learning experience, but let me tell you this place has got it right. My wife and I have eaten here no less than 7 times. The staff is warm and friendly, and professional. Great job! Good wine selection, the martinis are awesome. I like the Kettle One Up and Dirty. My wife had the Blueberry Gimlet and loved it. Normally I get the Wagu Sliders which I love but last night we stated off with the Pork Belly Wontons (great) and we both had the filet mignonette. Tonya said it was the best steak she ever had. Great place read more

Delicious dinner! Made reservations online for a Friday night. WaItress was attentive and knowledgeable! Ordered sliders and pommes frites to start and both were devoured. Generous helping of fries.
