Memorial Day ... why do we stop here on holidays? Well, SURPRISE! They weren't that busy. Order a Scotch rocks and Chardonnay and although the Scotch pour was a bit skimpy they were enjoyed! I ordered the Chop Steak, loaded baked and Caesar salad. My wife ordered the 6 oz Sirloin, loaded baked and Asparagus. Everything was really good. My wife raved about both her steak and her loaded potato. And her serving of asparagus was humongous! My Chop Steak was really tasty with the wine reduction and mushroom sauce. Really hearty meals. Had dinner last Sunday evening which was the absolute worst experience I have ever had in a steakhouse. waited 45 minutes for food when the waitress came and said they were out of an item. Then it took another 20 minutes to get our order which was not a filet like we ordered and was under cooked. Have eaten at many Longhorns and never been treated like this. They did comp one steak and gave us a dessert. Still tipped waitress well it wasn't her fault. manager would not even make eye contact when came out to talk with us. One person dining, get there about 6:30. Seated at about 6:45 PM, order taken about 7PM on the dot. Wait 25 to 30 minutes for my food, fillet was overcooked (ordered medium, got well-done) and baked potato had ingredient I specifically requested be taken off. Flagged a lady carrying menus back and requested the manager. Server came by saw what was happening and took my food. Manager swung by and offered a half-baked excuse as to how two requests were missed. Waited another 25 to 30 minutes for the fixed food. Only fillet and potato on the plate, had to remind hostess that I was missing the rice pilaf (not her fault, but why wasn't it on the plate?) Tasted good all around and the food was excellent. Flagged waiter for check, got the check, and saw there was no discount of any kind. Sure, the food I ordered eventually came out as I ordered it, but I was forced to wait an extra 30 minutes due to the restaurants incompetence. I honestly considered getting up and leaving after the first 20 minutes of them "fixing my order". Will I be filling out their survey potentially to win a $100 gift card? Visited for dinner on 6/22/2025. The hotel I was staying at was within walking distance. Walked over and sat at the bar so I could watch the NBA Finals game. Service was a little slow, but that is mainly because the bartender was the only bartender and she was also taking care of to-go orders and the waitress for the several tables in the bar area too. I had the Wild West Shrimp and Crispy Brussel Sprouts. Both extremely delicious! A few people near me in the bar area ordered the shrimp because I kept saying how good it was! Normally my go to items here are the Parmesan crusted chicken and white cheddar stuffed mushrooms. This is enough to serve 2 people and have leftovers. Bar area is nice to sit at when alone. Cheesecake that originally had caramel and nuts on it. I asked for strawberry. They clearly just took the nuts off and added strawberry sauce on top of the caramel. Besides the fact that it looked disgusting- that is very dangerous. This was not for my daughter but if it were- the nuts could have killed her. I got it to go and they were closed when I noticed. I threw it out. I'm giving a 3 star because the ribeye and okra were good. Not quite on par with the Lonestar I frequent in Grand Prairie Tx but not bad either. read more

Unfortunately, our experience at this establishment was disappointing. When we arrived, we requested a booth and were informed by the receptionist that booth service was unavailable at the time. We accepted this and sat at a table. However, shortly afterward, another family was seated in a booth, which caused some confusion. I politely asked our server, Zoe, if it would be possible to move to one of the available booths, but she explained that those booths were not being used and that her section was limited. Despite this, additional families continued to be seated in her section afterward. As we continued asking about the seating situation and later requested to cancel the remainder of our order, Zoe became visibly frustrated and began responding with an attitude, which made the interaction uncomfortable. We requested to simply pay for what had already been provided and cancel the rest of the order. However, we were told that some items could not be canceled because they had already been prepared, and the remaining food would still be brought out. We explained that we had not eaten and had already communicated our decision to cancel the order. The situation was ultimately resolved when the manager stepped in. She handled the matter professionally, listened to our concerns, and worked to assist us appropriately, which we appreciated. While we are thankful for the manager's professionalism, the overall experience left us dissatisfied, and unfortunately we do not plan on returning. read more

There was a bug in my martini so the bartender said she'd get me another. Never happened. The wings were so fatty and undercooked that they were inedible. This has become a mainstay for us. It's impossible not to order Flo's Filet every time we go in however I had chicken fried steak last evening and it was exceptional. The ambiance is perfect: low lighting, good music at a perfect volume, and very friendly staff. What remains disappointing at other chains is the noise (so loud), the cold, and the bright lighting. Had a fantastic meal and a strawberry margarita. Pork chop, baked potato and house chopped salad were all delicious. The strawberry margarita was one of the best I've ever had. My husband and I split the meal and it was ample. Summer, our server was absolutely a delight! A little country music and soft chatter created the perfect atmosphere for a wonderful evening. The service was excellent; I ordered the ribeyes medium rare - the toughest piece of steak that I have ever had in a restaurant... way too salty, wife had the shrimp and steak also super salty... told the Josh our waiter and exchanged it for a filet mignon.. much more tender but salty... Server was good but got flustered quickly. We went at 6:10 to beat the crowd. Was seated and everything started off great. But my husband and I both ordered drinks from the bar and unfortunately they came rather late. Bar was out of strawberries for my margarita, so we pivoted to a dragon fruit one, I was half way through my dinner before the drink came out. My husband's 12 oz ribeye looked liked a thin cut breakfast steak. We asked the server and she said of course it was a 12 oz ribeye. Next thing I know the manager is standing over us asking very sternly if there was an issue with the steak. My husband asked just to make sure it was a 12 oz ribeye. The manager said of course they weigh them all and instead of a thick cut steak they use thinner cut so it can be cooked medium rare correctly.... WHAT????? 3/18/25 supper. Amarillo. We met friends who usually like this place. (We weren't happy to be there again) but they asked us. Took a while to get water drinks, I ordered 6 oz ribeye steak with baked potato butter only. Other baked potatoes were ordered with bigger steaks. My potato was one from yesterday and so dry that the it looked like half the stuff was scooped out and left the sides. It was unbelievable. Waitress took it back ok, no comment, but it took forever to get the fresh one back to the table. Corey Thompson! Manager? Where is your quality control? Why didn't your food runner say " Hey man this needs a better potato." Where is your training of the food runners to stop bad food from leaving the kitchen. One of the worst dining experiences I've had. We waited around 30 minutes for a table. Ordered a ribeye, grilled chicken, and chicken fried steak. The steak and chicken were barely warm, not even the plate. Chicken fry was cooked within an inch of its life. Try to cut it and all the breading cracked and fell off. Saturday night date night for me and wifey. Arrived without reso about 545. A brief wait of 5 minutes for a booth. We enjoyed the ambiance of the establishment. Summer was the name of our server and she was pleasant and prompt on our drinks and order taking. We ordered Porterhouse and Salmon entrees with brussels, asparagus and a house salad. The steak and fish were cooked perfectly. The sprouts were yummy and the steamed asparagus was plentiful. My concern was the quality of the porterhouse steak. A significant amount of gristle and connective tissue - not a particularly tender piece of meat. Summer ( our server) was seated a party of 8 people in her station, and she was distracted from us for the last half of our meal - by the time she checked in on the quality of our dishes, we were nearly finished. When traveling (motorcycle trip) I love to find a place close by my motel and this place fit the bill, it was within walking distance from my room and face it, the walk did me good after 650 miles of riding the motorcycle. I was seated in a booth and ordered a Jameson on the rocks...a double! After pursuing the menu I decided on a rib eye steak cooked medium with broccoli for a side and a garden salad with ranch dressing. As I was enjoying my Irish whiskey I noticed the mount above the bar, it was wearing a filter mask! How funny....lol the server was very polite and was able to visit with me a little which is welcomed. I did notice a couple a few booths over and saw the lady glancing at me, I didn't pay much attention to it but as it turns out she had gotten my check by mistake, and she went ahead and paid for my meal, yes that's right, the couple bought me dinner, first time that ever happened to me. This location could be so much better if the manager stepped up and helped. Went there last night while passing through town and could walk from hotel. We are from Atlanta, where the first location started, so we felt confident eating here. Manager was at hostess stand, not really friendly, not really thrilled people were there, and did NOT help his staff at all. No running food that I saw, no bussing tables that were empty, no quick sweep of a floor covered in french fries, nothing other than leaning over walls...watching everyone work. I imagine the franchise owner would be disappointed if they sent a secret shopper in to observe this place. Our server (female, dark hair in ponytail, glasses) was good. Seems to me the problem here is leadership...who could put forth some more effort to support the hard working staff. read more

The food was like warm and I picked it up at my assigned time. My onion rings were greasy as hell and the mushroom breading was so soggy that it was coming off. I can see why this place was empty when I walked inside. The 2 other steak houses that share a parking lot were full to the gills. Live and learn. Just had a late dinner here. Nice atmosphere and it started out great. Positives first... food was good. Thats it! Jen was our server. She never came back once food was served to refill drinks or to check on our dinners. My husband asked for sour cream for his baked potato twice and didn't get it and by the time he did, potato was cold. When she did come back she brought us the check. Didn't ask if we wanted coffee or dessert! I asked for coffee but she didn't bother to ask if my husband wanted some too. When she brought my coffee my husband asked her to bring him some too and with an attitude she said yes. She didn't bring any cream or spoons and I went to the hostess and asked for spoons, she brought an ice tea spoon. So we went to the hostess to get our check and she came back and said she would be our cashier with an attitude. The guest at another table noticed and said snippy wasn't she?
