Receipt with no discount applied. Proof of order.

One person dining, get there about 6:30. Seated at about 6:45 PM, order taken about 7PM on the dot. Wait 25 to 30 minutes for my food, fillet was overcooked (ordered medium, got well-done) and baked potato had ingredient I specifically requested be taken off. Flagged a lady carrying menus back and requested the manager. Server came by saw what was happening and took my food. Manager swung by and offered a half-baked excuse as to how two requests were missed. Waited another 25 to 30 minutes for the fixed food. Only fillet and potato on the plate, had to remind hostess that I was missing the rice pilaf (not her fault, but why wasn't it on the plate?) Tasted good all around and the food was excellent. Flagged waiter for check, got the check, and saw there was no discount of any kind. Sure, the food I ordered eventually came out as I ordered it, but I was forced to wait an extra 30 minutes due to the restaurants incompetence. I honestly considered getting up and leaving after the first 20 minutes of them "fixing my order". Will I be filling out their survey potentially to win a $100 gift card? Maybe... maybe not.

    Dinner with a view

Visited for dinner on 6/22/2025. The hotel I was staying at was within walking distance. Walked over and sat at the bar so I could watch the NBA Finals game. Service was a little slow, but that is mainly because the bartender was the only bartender and she was also taking care of to-go orders and the waitress for the several tables in the bar area too. I had the Wild West Shrimp and Crispy Brussel Sprouts. Both extremely delicious! A few people near me in the bar area ordered the shrimp because I kept saying how good it was! Normally my go to items here are the Parmesan crusted chicken and white cheddar stuffed mushrooms. This is enough to serve 2 people and have leftovers. Bar area is nice to sit at when alone. Normally the dining room is perfect for couples or families.

Cheesecake that originally had caramel and nuts on it. I asked for strawberry. They clearly just took the nuts off and added strawberry sauce on top of the caramel. Besides the fact that it looked disgusting- that is very dangerous. This was not for my daughter but if it were- the nuts could have killed her. I got it to go and they were closed when I noticed. I threw it out. I'm giving a 3 star because the ribeye and okra were good. Not quite on par with the Lonestar I frequent in Grand Prairie Tx but not bad either.

    Chicken Fried Steak

This has become a mainstay for us. It's impossible not to order Flo's Filet every time we go in however I had chicken fried steak last evening and it was exceptional. The ambiance is perfect: low lighting, good music at a perfect volume, and very friendly staff. What remains disappointing at other chains is the noise (so loud), the cold, and the bright lighting. This Longhorn rivals some of the local restaurants.

The service was excellent; I ordered the ribeyes medium rare - the toughest piece of steak that I have ever had in a restaurant... way too salty, wife had the shrimp and steak also super salty... told the Josh our waiter and exchanged it for a filet mignon.. much more tender but salty... The set up was nice - love the display of the belt buckle We went to a Texas Longhorn in Iowa and loved it... the food here was less desirable.. sorry; I won't be back I hope they will reduce the salt for others and choose a better cut of ribeyes again for others

12 oz ribeye steak on the website ... 12 oz ribeye steak we got.

Server was good but got flustered quickly. We went at 6:10 to beat the crowd. Was seated and everything started off great. But my husband and I both ordered drinks from the bar and unfortunately they came rather late. Bar was out of strawberries for my margarita, so we pivoted to a dragon fruit one, I was half way through my dinner before the drink came out. My husband's 12 oz ribeye looked liked a thin cut breakfast steak. We asked the server and she said of course it was a 12 oz ribeye. Next thing I know the manager is standing over us asking very sternly if there was an issue with the steak. My husband asked just to make sure it was a 12 oz ribeye. The manager said of course they weigh them all and instead of a thick cut steak they use thinner cut so it can be cooked medium rare correctly.... WHAT????? Not planning on spending my hard earned money there again with the way we got treated.

Decent food for a chain and moderate prices compared to the other steakhouse chains. Service was very slow for having a few customers.

Steak was poorly cooked (not even seared properly). The sides were meh at best. Would definitely not go back.

If you are looking for white tablecloths, subtle lighting, or a quiet place to whisper sweet…read morenothings, keep driving past Coyote Bluff Cafe (often locally called the "Coyote Bluu" or simply "The Bluff") in Amarillo, Texas. But if your idea of culinary heaven involves a grease-stained paper liner, an old-school Texas roadhouse vibe, and a burger that requires structural support, you have arrived at the right place. Nestled just a few blocks off Interstate 40 in a historic, diminutive former dance hall moved wholesale from neighboring Claude, Texas, Coyote Bluff is tiny. With only about 12 tables packed into its 1,000 square feet, the atmosphere is alive with a loud, friendly hum, a dirt parking lot, and a vintage bathtub floating full of ice and cold beer bottles. The place is amazing!!!! The unique steaming process is really amazing. You have to try the chili cheese fries to go with it. The menu keeps its focus tight, centering around half-pound patties of lean Texas ground beef cooked to order. While traditional options like the Hickory Burger and the Green Chili Cheese Burger are stellar, the undisputed heavyweight titleholder here is the legendary Burger from Hell. I had to try it, my wife opted for the Chicken Fried Steak. Many approach the "Hell Burger" with great trepidation, expecting it to be more of a gimmick built strictly on painful, mouth-numbing heat. Instead, it offers a beautifully layered flavor profile. The beef patty with Tabasco and their proprietary "Coyote Hell Sauce," then smothers it in gooey melted cheese, grilled onions, and fresh, vibrant sautéed jalapeños. It arrived on a toasted onion bun, it lands a solid 7 out of 10 on the heat scale. But rather than scorching your palate, it wraps it in a vinegary, spicy, deeply savory warmth. This place also serves up classic, heavy-hitting Texas roadhouse appetizers: Each of these are amazing sides and are worth of mentioning, First the Cheese Fries with Green Chiles, which I had with my burger and my wife had with her Chicken fried steak, it is served on a massive aluminum platter, these fresh-cut fries are heavily blanketed in melted cheese and mild green chiles. They are a mandatory companion to the burgers.  Other appetizers worth of note, are the Texas Red Chili & Green Chili Stew: The thick, hearty green chili stew is packed with meat and mild green peppers, offering a wonderful warming comfort, especially during cool Panhandle days.  and any of the Fried options ranging from baskets of battered fried pickles, garlic mushrooms, and stuffed jalapeños. Because everything is cooked to order and the dining room is incredibly compact, expect a wait during lunch rushes or weekends. However, that time spent waiting in the dirt lot among locals and passing road-trippers is part of the charm. Coyote Bluff Cafe doesn't try to be anything other than a spectacular, small-town Texas burger joint, and it executes that identity flawlessly. This is a MUST Stop in Texas

Once inside you notice the charm of it all. Dollar bills all over the walls, showing multiple satisfied customers. Two servers/ waitresses working their tails off. They were very polite and patient with all the patrons. Ordered the bacon cheese burgers. All I can say is you better have an appetite, they are half pound patties and piled high with the fixings. Excellent & satisfaction is all I can say. Also for the half & half- fries and onion rings. Hot and freshly made. This is definitely a place to try out. Interesting and the food was well worth the $. Kudos to the cooks!

Aside from the Seafood Fondeaux being a little on the saltier side...Saltgrass Steakhouse is probably the #1 Steakhouse here in Amarillo Texas (just my opinion)...if I had to leave one two word adjective to describe my entire experience today at this Steak House...."Michelin Worthy." Obviously not at Joel Robuchon level, but they sure execute everything like Brick & Mortar Steakhouse would be expected on Rodeo Drive. Perfect Medium Rare, Great baked sweet potatoes with that foam melt butter, garlic butter and grilled shrimp were cherries on top of the pie as a Steak Add-on, phenomenal balsamic vinegarette fused Blue Cheese crumbs Wedge Salad, and the Seafood Fondeaux was as if you married lobster bisque with creme spinach and queso, a superb starter. Premium Service by Isabel, top notch multitasker handling the bar, and multiple fronts. A well put together Southern Cowboy country Interior with very fitting country music. Worst instance now making me leave this review...and not coming back. Started off just standing waiting to be seated, not even in the door because of a group of people. Said they were a big party made sense why it may be hard to get in. Should of just left then. Lackluster attention from staff for everyone that came in after that group. Saw one couple even immediately be seated though after waiting 20 min with 3 people ahead of us and another group behind. (Happened to know the waitress apparently) Saw one table just up and leave due to being ignored and waiting on ticket to the point they left some cash and up and left in a very bad mood. Got told multiple times a 10-15 min wait due to tables needing cleaned off. There were 4 open tops that were empty throughout restaurant, the whole time and then another 3 opened up while waiting. Then was told 20-30 min wait due to the kitchen being backed up. At that point we just up and left combined with the VIP treatment of people being able to skip ahead of not 1 or 2 but 4 other groups of only 2 to 4 people with at least 5 or 6 open tables. I don't leave reviews often and do for great experiences and bad experiences this was one of the worst. The waitresses were clueless high school or 20 somethings not wanting to actively work and instead argue over whose fault it was a table left or why people would have their name written down and instead would leave due to the treatment of even just being seated, but somehow it's the kitchens fualt. 10/10 do not recommend and don't bother.
