He answered my questions and reassured me that he'd take of everything. When I brought my car in, he explained everything he was doing and gave me some advice about my car maintenance care. this was a karmic reward for me i am dang sure about that; cause every time i go to do a smog i get the feeling that my wallet belongs to the mechanic. whatever he wants to charge i gotta pay. and i know when i am being fleeced. but not this time, thank god. i ended up in this shop by mistake on my way to another smog place. i was ready to be fleeced as usual and was mentally prepared for it. but as soon as i entered the shop immediately i felt a sense of very clean energy surrounding me. while there i tried to figure out where this energy was coming from and i found out it was coming from two places. first there was a water fountain in one corner near the front door and second there was an angel in the shop. the angel's name is Chris. you may begin to remember your experiences of previous lives if you look at the fountain for a while; don't be scared. read more

The price is the same as the price I paid at an Arco two years ago. Their speed here was quicker, though. Just half an hour for me with another car ahead of me. Amazing service. Chris was amazing and nice to me and I had a little confusion about the price in the beginning but, he cleared up everything for me. So since I was a returning customer I had the sticker with the coupon, but if you are a yelp customer and claim you are, you already get the discounted price. So a standard smog is $50 but $40 with coupon, or $50 but $40 if you mention Yelp. So basically like every other place in the world (lol), the coupons don't add up together. If you have any questions just ask, Chris actually cares about his customers and will take time to explain they he's not trying to skimp anybody. I took my 2005 Ford Focus and even with all the explaining he did it took me about 10-12 minutes to be in-out. I've been coming here for years now. They are amazing. It is a little challenging to find at the back of a retail strip but beyond that, the tech was professional, fast and friendly. The price was also hard to beat when you check in with yelp. I've been going here since it was highly recommended by a co worker and she is right. Friendly people and they do not make you wait long unlike other test only centers. The place is located on the vicinity where the Arco gas station is at most people get lost locating this place due to the address map quest or google will give you. Excellent+super quick SMOG test service. The couple (maybe, if not I apologize) are so warm and nice. I bright my 3yr old son with me and the lady immediately offered my son two packs of really nice packs of cookies and that made the entire process (even only 10 minutes!) so smooth~. If you have kids, you'll know. :) When paying the fee, I was immediately being given $10 off by the gentleman. I thought I had cash to pay but I found I was 2 dollars short. The lady said well it doesn't matter but I insisted to pay in full using my credit card. Since it was my first stop of all chores that I have to do during the weekend, they made my day! Wow! Amazing service!! Do you need a smog test? Are you near the San Gabriel Valley? If so, this is the ONLY place to go for it. Don't even think of going anywhere else. I can say that definitively after my first smog test at Longden Test Only. I was referred to Longden Test Only from one of my trusted mechanics. When I got near the location, I realized it was the smog test place right next to my new favorite mechanics, RPM. When I pulled up, the owner Tony apologized for the delay, telling me that suddenly in the late afternoon they got a flood of customers. I wasn't concerned about the wait. There were a couple of cars ahead of me, but there was very little wait before my car was in the bay. Tony and Chris know cars, and they know the smog test. My car past quickly and cleanly, which was great. Both of them are so friendly and nice to work with. It's one of the nicest smog stations I've been to as well. I was in and out before I knew it. This was a nearly effortless process on my part, and it was inexpensive too. I'm sending all friends and family their way! read more
