When I arrived, the nail technician, Linda, was doing her own nails. I had builder gel on my nails longer than I should have (which I didn't realize, as I'm not the expert). I was told my nails were healthy, yet two nails broke the very next day. I posted a short review that simply said "builder gel fail." I did not mention any names or details at that time. When I later called to discuss the issue after the owner offered a refund or redo, the salon manager repeatedly said, "What do you want?" in a rude tone while on speaker. She then abruptly put Linda on the phone without telling me. Linda also repeatedly asked, "What do you want?" and told me I had called too much, which is not accurate. I calmly explained that I wanted a refund due to the poor outcome and service. Instead, I was told to pick up a gift card and "give it away." I do not want a gift card. I wanted the matter resolved professionally. This is not my first issue. On 1/18/2026, I received white polish that appeared old. I texted and called for nearly a week (1/18-1/23) trying to get it corrected. When I finally returned (Linda is off Sundays and Mondays), the manager insisted I would have to pay $30 for a polish change or accept the same old color again. That is unacceptable. Additionally: The manager's demeanor is hostile and unwelcoming. Customers are spoken about loudly within earshot. Linda's sister had started and during appointments, she caused delays, because Linda kept stopping to assist her. My mother also experienced rude treatment during her recent appointment. I was asked to remove my honest review, which I will not do. I believe in supporting businesses that show professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, this establishment has repeatedly demonstrated the opposite.

I called them at 10:50 and they asked me to come at 11:15 instead which was a slight inconvenience for me as I had scheduled the appointment to coincide with me getting out of Pilates in the same shopping center. I waited in my car until 11:15 and when I went in I still had to wait another 10 minutes to be seen. They had a basket of mini candy bars and chips next to the seats where you wait. Once seated in the pedicure chair, I was offered a "complimentary" beverage (water, coffee, tea, wine or champagne) which I declined. I was also presented with a pedicure menu. They have different types of pedicures ranging from $35-$85 and gel is an additional $20. The prices may be a little higher than other salons because of all the free/complimentary items they offer. My nail tech Steven was professional and thorough but the pedicure area itself was pretty loud and not relaxing at all. They don't take tips on credit cards so be prepared to pay the tip with cash, Venmo, Cash App or Zelle.

We were directed to checkin on a kiosk and less than five minutes later, were escorted back to the pedicure area. We each had pleasant staff servicing us. We were given a menu of services. They specialize in nail, pedicure, and waxing services. We each got different pedicure services: I got the basic pedicure with regular nail polish, two got the basic pedicure with gel polish. The stations were clean and the staff very engaging. They had various snacks (chips, soda, candy) in addition to wine (red or white) provided complimentary with the service. We were all pleased with our services. The only thing I would say is that the person performing my service kept insisting that I complete the survey online with 5 stars BEFORE my service was completed. They insisted about three times and hovered to see that I would complete it before my service was completed. I told them the last time, very sternly, that I NEVER complete a review until my service is completed. As I was the only one who had to sit under the fan to dry my toenails because I got regular polish, after my nails dried, I did complete the survey. All in all, a nice place to go for a pedicure and I will be visiting again, One bit of advice, Inspire Mail Bar: Don't hound customers to complete a review (and encourage a five star one at that) before services are completed. Their prices were more than what was indicated online, so it was $40 for gel and then an additional $15 for catseye polish (note they do not have the magnets for designs, so it's just plain catseye). This was done on our natural nails. My experience went relatively smoothly and very quickly. I had Tina, who completed within 20 minutes of starting, but I'm thinking that may not have been a good thing. My gel nails usually last for 2 weeks or so without chipping or peeling off, but these were chipping by day 5 and about a week in, one had peeled so badly that my nail snapped in half. My friend was not started on til i was almost done. Her nail tech switched halfway through as well, and another nail tech came by and made rude remarks about her hands twice, saying that the nail design she wanted would look ugly on her. The nail polish needed another color to help it show up the way it looked on the display/bottle, and there was a lot of back and forth trying to get that right. In the end, they were able to figure out a way to get it to look right, but that added an extra 40 minutes to her nails. The receptionist was great and helped advocate for her to get the correct shade. I like the convenience of having a nail salon within walking distance, but I think I'll stick with my usual unless these things change. It's not worth the money for early chipping and rude remarks.

The health of my natural nails goes without mention. Sometimes I can't even believe it myself. I look back and thank god that I have to transition out of long nails because they were DESTROYING the integrity of my naturals. She told me to come in, but when I arrived, she dismissed my concerns and said it was "just the glue settling" and that nothing was wrong. Despite clearly seeing how thick the nails were, she didn't offer to fix them. By the very next day, the nails started coming off. I called again and asked for the set to be redone since the issue was clearly due to the application, but they refused. This is unacceptable, Gel-X sets typically last me at least 3-4 weeks, not just a few days. I ended up going to another salon to have them redone, and even that technician commented on how poorly the original set had been done. Overall, this salon showed no accountability and no respect for my time or money. I would not return.
