I'm new to the area so I went here because of the proximity to my home. I had my nails filled in with pink gel. They started breaking within the next few days. By 3 weeks, my nails looked horrible, but I figured it might have been a fluke & tried them again. They're not breaking this time, but the girl took 2 hours to do it and the white tip on the edge started coming off the next day & the gel is chipping. They're also uneven and no matter how short I asked for or how small I wanted the white tip, it didn't seem to matter to her. She did what she wanted. I don't recommend this place at all. read more

Run! And avoid table 4 as if he is serving up the plague. Terrible experience. 1. Table 4 "burnt" my nail beds by flooring the foot pedal on the Handpiece when removing my gel. I stopped him repeatedly 2. They charge $5 extra for shaping. They have multiple diagrams of said shapes. SOMEHOW the tech didnt know what almond shape was and continued chopping at my natural nails! Two people had to come over and the woman finally just did the shaping for him 3. In the middle of this, this guy stops and says...I just did a full body massage on a client. Ummm okay?!? 4. More hand filling of my nails while staring over and under the table reading text messages. Um? Hello sir? 5. Finally pay before the polish. I was ready to go, but I knew I had to get my nails done. Biggest mistake. -no base coat until I stopped him at the 2nd nail. He forgot -polish did not cover the whole nail. Stopped again...."its ok I got the 2nd coat -polish thick as hell and crazy messy. My 8 year old does a better job. I stopped him again. "Oh yeah yeah yeah" - polish did not dry after 20 min because it was so thick. I got in the car and smudged my first 3 nails. (Pics posted on yelp) ***interstingly enough, the whole time another woman was having a similar experience. She literally said "I have gel on my nails and they are soaking my hands in water. NOONE SEEMS TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING" I turned back around when I heard her say "so you only did one coat on my gel nails". Lmao the tech working on her said you have to pay more for more layers. I got my nails done here a week ago. I went to nail club today to get a pedicure and change my nail color. I was told the nails looked so bad they had to do a fill-in for the nails. These nails were a new set that cost me $50 and I had to dish out $30 to fix the mess of the nails that came from here. The nails were not even and some was all lumpy. I was embarrassed when they asked me where I got my nails done. The nail club fixed my nails 100% and made them look very pretty but I'm mad I had to spend more money to fix the bad work of this shop. Sky shop experience: I had the lady working on my nails and she ripped off the old set with no remorse. I was in so much pain. I was going to get up and walk out or start yelling cause she was being aggressive yanking off the old set for a new one. I thought I was going to be passing out or bleeding with how rough her work truly was. Then, when she did the actual set, she had me hold my hand up to the light bulb and that burn the crap out of my nail beds. These guys aren't it. They overpriced for dollar store work. I wish I paid with card to get a refund but I used cash. I should have known I was getting bad work because I got the vibe the nail tech was sketchy during the process of the nails. Smh. People don't have time to spend $80 on nails. I gotta pay bills and look presentable for work. This shop ain't the one. read more

First time here wanted to get sculptured nails instead of the normal acrylic tips. I also was taking off my current set and changing the shape. No wait when I walked in and my nail tech was really nice. She did a good job assuring me that she could do what I asked for but she also set my expectations that I may not like it based on her feedback. Got gel nails done 4 weeks ago and haven't had time to go back to get them redone. My nails have now grown out quite a bit and even after cutting my nails down they still haven't chipped! I have gone here a number of times over the past few years. Early on the service and quality was fine. BUT Last time I went they ripped the skin off of my ankle with the callous remover. I figured it was a freak accident. So I went back yesterday. Bo made a huge mess of my pedi. They dilute the polish until it no longer covers properly - OPI. It was streaky and gritty. I said something and was told it would look fine when it gets he top coat and fully dries. Today, it still looked like crap. When I went in to have it redone, Rose yelled at me and said I left so that was it. She finally after more arguing told me to get a color. Did something under her table to my toes and sent me to the dryer. Forty five minutes later I spoke up and asked how much longer it would be. I was told I could leave she fixed the pedi she put another top coat on and applied the new color to one toe. I never complained about that toe as I was not sure which of us - Bo or me - had smeared it. I pointed out the one toe was with the new color. She told me to get out. I refused; I needed the pedi fixed. I told her if she didn't want to fix it she could rerun the check with the manicure only and I would go somewhere else for the polish. She accused me of just wanting "something for nothing." If I did I would not have paid $45 the day before. She eventually relented and fixed the polish. (Which looks fine now.) All the while, she is screaming at me not to ever come back. She has no need to worry there. It'll be a cold day..... read more

This place is disgusting. The place looked very messy. I walked in asked for acrylics, and a lady did them for me. They did not apply gel, so they were just regular acrylic nails. First of all, she made the acrylics look really big for my hands. And second if all she applied the nail polish so bad on my hands that they looked horrible (close up.) I am so pleased with her work plus she was quick and she was friendly. I explained my concerns from the last full shop that I went to and she was very gentle while fixing my nails. I went in for a pedi. I had no problem with the pedi itself - my feet look good. But I didn't like that the woman cleaned her tools in the water my feet were in and dried them off with the towel she was to do my pedi on. So basically, my skin was all over the towel and floating around in the foot bath. I just paid to have that skin removed. I don't want to be bathing in it. Then she proceeded to dry my feet off with that nasty towel. I insisted on a new towel, which clearly annoyed her. Also, as I was paying by credit, she informs me they only take cash tips. I would normally rate them a 4, but today changed my mind. I called three days ago and made a mani-pedi appointment for Christmas eve. I asked if 5 pm was available with Melody (she's really good and I always ask for her). I was told 5:30. I got there at 5:15 and saw a sign on the door saying they're closing at 6. I ask the owner/manager if they're still going to see me since I had an appointment. She claimed my appointment was at 4:30. If I'm paying extra for gel, these babies should be next to indestructible, am I right?? Second, the tech was just phoning it in. I mean, I don't expect anyone to entertain me...but acting like you appreciate my business would be nice. I'm sure there are people who have lovely experiences there. Mine started out that way. I had stopped going to this nail salon because I had moved away from the area. Just recently, I found myself working in Glen Burnie so I try to make it over every now and then for a pedicure. Today I went for a full set of nails and it was not a good experience. Rose, the tech, was completely rough with my hands; pulling and squeezing them to move around as she filed, etc. I had to ask her to squeeze gently because I have short fingers so she was going to have to come across the desk with her arms. I asked her to file down the length before she started putting on the acrylic and you would have though I asked for her first born. I explained she was being rude because all I asked for was for the nails to be a little shorter (didn't even take her 2 minutes with the Dremmel tool). There were no other customers in the salon so I wasn't sure of her impatience and attitude. When I went to tip her and say thank you, she barely smiled and turned away from me as if she was better without it. So much for trying to be nice? I understand that agreeing to a nail length ahead of time is helpful to avoid more work, but today I was paying for a service and wanted to be assured that I was going to like the nails I was paying $35 for. read more

I live in the area and have been here multiple times for gel manicures, pedicures. I think the staff is very kind and the chairs/set up is nice. Never a long wait. However... gel manicures are expensive and I would expect them to last at least 2 weeks. Sadly here they last a few days before chipping/peeling. I have come back in hopes that "this time would be different" but that has not happened yet. Bottom line- Nice staff but not very good quality for the same price at other salons. read more

Best place I have even had my nails done it is hard I understand what they are saying but the nicest people I have been going here for a while even did my nails when in a cast now that's great work! Last years around Christmas I asked for a very difficult print on my nails and they aced it! If you want your nails done right this is definitely the place to go the price for tips is about 22$ not to bad although this is not including any design I can promise you it is worth it !! read more
