I had scheduled an appointment for 11am on a Sunday. An hour before the appointment they attempted to call me twice but I was I wasn't available to take the call. I called them at 10:50 and they asked me to come at 11:15 instead which was a slight inconvenience for me as I had scheduled the appointment to coincide with me getting out of Pilates in the same shopping center. I waited in my car until 11:15 and when I went in I still had to wait another 10 minutes to be seen. They had a basket of mini candy bars and chips next to the seats where you wait. Once seated in the pedicure chair, I was offered a "complimentary" beverage (water, coffee, tea, wine or champagne) which I declined. I was also presented with a pedicure menu. They have different types of pedicures ranging from $35-$85 and gel is an additional $20. The prices may be a little higher than other salons because of all the free/complimentary items they offer. My nail tech Steven was professional and thorough but the pedicure area itself was pretty loud and not relaxing at all. They don't take tips on credit cards so be prepared to pay the tip with cash, Venmo, Cash App or Zelle. read more

This was a last minute effort and since we were headed to Arundel Mills, we looked up the nearest salon to get a pedicure, saw the reviews, and decided to go to Inspire Nail Bar. We arrived and were greeted by pleasant staff. There were three of us getting pedicures and informed them of that. We were directed to checkin on a kiosk and less than five minutes later, were escorted back to the pedicure area. We each had pleasant staff servicing us. We were given a menu of services. They specialize in nail, pedicure, and waxing services. We each got different pedicure services: I got the basic pedicure with regular nail polish, two got the basic pedicure with gel polish. The stations were clean and the staff very engaging. They had various snacks (chips, soda, candy) in addition to wine (red or white) provided complimentary with the service. We were all pleased with our services. The only thing I would say is that the person performing my service kept insisting that I complete the survey online with 5 stars BEFORE my service was completed. They insisted about three times and hovered to see that I would complete it before my service was completed. I told them the last time, very sternly, that I NEVER complete a review until my service is completed. As I was the only one who had to sit under the fan to dry my toenails because I got regular polish, after my nails dried, I did complete the survey. All in all, a nice place to go for a pedicure and I will be visiting again, One bit of advice, Inspire Mail Bar: Don't hound customers to complete a review (and encourage a five star one at that) before services are completed. I really enjoy Inspire and will continue to home here regularly. I followed a nail technician (Amy) from another salon, and Amy is amazing - but the atmosphere at Inspire compared to her previous salon is really elevated. They've got drinks, snacks, massage chairs for while you're waiting, a lot of floor space so no feeling cramped, and it looks like enough spaces to comfortably sit a large party if you're wanting to bring friends along for a girls' night. I went to see Calvin one day after Amy was out - and he did a great job as well. My nails look great longer than I would have expected and I have no complaints! I got a gel pedicure and acrylic with French gel manicure and chrome. Very happy with the results. Will absolutely be returning, regularly! read more

I came here after seeing the reviews and it was close to the hotel I was staying at while in town. The price points attempt to advertise as a luxury service especially how they try to include free drinks and snacks. The snacks are $0.50 bags of chips and dum dum pops. The massage chairs while you wait to be seen are not cleaned regularly nor sanitized every couple of hours, the cupholders look as if they have never been cleaned. They allow their tools to sit in the barbicide more than the 15 minutes indicated for hygienic controls. Pictures of my nails are less than 24 hours and my fill-in looks like its already days old, and the work is just not clean, very sloppy for such a price point. The total for my gel fill-in and gel pedicure totaled approximately $144, and I am below impressed. I only ventured out because my nail tech is in her home country and saw this place had decent reviews, I should have gone with my second choice which was Glo Nail Bar (Glen Burnie, MD) and saved money at least. I would not return beyond just getting the correction needed as shown in attached pictures. They do not have good customer service and despite me having to return there was no efforts to preserve business and satisfy the customer, so yes I have no problem giving a full review so others know what they are walking into. Not the worst work, but the failure to truly preserve their customer experience and the false pretense of luxury does deserve a low rating. read more

I go to Inspire Nail Bar for my feet and waxes, and I've always had a good experience. Today I decided to get my nails done too. When I arrived, I asked who could do stiletto nails and made it clear that I'm very picky. I waited for my service and Hong Le did my nails. She was great, we picked a design together, and she deserves a 4.5. My review, however, is not about her. There was a young woman sitting next to me getting her nails done. The first two colors were pretty to me, but she didn't like them. The third color she requested was white, and it honestly looked terrible. She looked over at my nails, complimented them, and asked about my design and color. I told her I loved them. She said she did not love hers. The nail tech had already told her they were closing and that this was the final color change. When I looked at her nails, it was obvious the issue wasn't the color at all. Her shape was too wide. I quietly told her she wouldn't like any color because the shaping was off. The tech overheard and immediately got an attitude. She said it was the customer's issue, told me to mind my business, and insisted she knew what she was doing. I calmly told her I was just trying to help because I've seen shape corrections done before polish. She snapped again, saying she would file after the gel. Meanwhile, her client was still saying she didn't like her nails. The tech continued painting thick white coats and even used her own nails to peel off gel. It felt extremely unprofessional. I told the customer I'd never had an issue there before and was surprised at the rudeness. The tech then said she didn't want to talk to me. I told her I was talking to her customer, not her. She mumbled something under her breath, and I told her if she had something to say, she could say it clearly. She yelled that she just wanted to go home. Eventually, the customer stopped her and said she would not pay because the shape was the issue and she hated her nails. After the customer left, the tech stood around another ten minutes talking with her coat on. I told the remaining techs my only intention was to help both of them because the customer seemed young and unsure how to express what was wrong. I understand being tired, but being rude to someone while also messing up their nails is unacceptable. I also understand she was only the polisher and someone else shaped the nails, which would have been very easy to explain to the customer instead of lashing out. My own tech thanked me for staying calm even though the other tech was rude and said the customer should have spoken up as soon as she saw the shape. I had my shape corrected before polish, so it was simple. I've been coming here for pedicures for years and have brought my kids and friends from the neighborhood. I won't be back, and neither will they. I work in customer service and would never speak to anyone the way that tech spoke to me. read more

She filed it too thin. It was a rushed job. I give 2 stars because the place was clean and inviting. Nearly $100 for a basic gel refill with chrome, and a nail fell off the very next day. I don't usually write reviews, but I'm sharing this so others can decide for themselves. I had been to this salon before without major issues, but this visit was different. After removing my old gel, I was told a new set might last longer but was optional. I wasn't told the nails could fall off the next day, so I kept my existing set. One nail had already fallen off, and gel was applied instead of offering a tip to even the length. At checkout, I was charged $98 before tip for a very basic service. The next day, a nail fell off, and the nails looked bulky and uneven for the price. When I returned calmly a few days later, I didn't ask for a refund or redo -- only for the gel to be removed. That request was refused, and I was told I should have said something before leaving. I won't be returning. Posting this so others know to confirm pricing upfront and speak up before leaving. read more

I enjoyed my visit at this nail spa. I used to come here years ago when it was VIP nails. They have remodeled since then and I was impressed with what they've done. I almost didn't recognize the place. They have a discount with points depending on how often you come in. You check in with your phone number. I had a pedicure called the Martini Lime. It was 50 minutes. Very enjoyable and they do offer a cocktail while you're being serviced. I went for the red wine but they also offer white wine, mimosas and champagne. It was quite relaxing. I didn't like that they charge you for removing your gel polish even if you're having that redone. Most people don't like to be bothered with gel polish because it's already an additional $20.00 that is not included in the pedicure service. I like it because I feel it last longer though. I could see myself returning. Maybe I could get a gift card. That would be awesome. read more

I went for the first time and requested a French manicure and pedicure. Regular polish - no gel. It took a while which I had no issue with as I felt she was responding to my being particular. But the next day and the following (48hrs) the polish just lifted and peeled off. My day 2 I had none of the French tips left just the bottom half. A breath of fresh air. Impeccable customer service. Great decor. I walked in at about 1030 a.m. on a Sunday, and it was booming! There are comfortable, massage chairs to enjoy while you wait (there wasnt a long delay). Refreshments were offered as well. I opted for the "quick shoot" pedicure, and am rather pleased. Sky hooked me up, and was even kind enough to gently suggest I choose another color lol he was right! I tried to hop out there on a limb, and it was no bueno. Good color selection, and I didn't have to request anything be modified. He literally shaped my nails, and applied the gel polish perfectly. The vibe amongst everyone was great. GO ELSEWHERE!! BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES!! I created this account because I felt compelled to write this review. I have already submitted a report to the Better Business Bureau (BBB). I've been getting my nails done for years and never have I ever experienced what I experienced here. The nail tech Mimi, kept trying to change prices based on the time that passed since I'd seen her (saw her 1 time before). Mind you, it had only been 3 weeks! That's not an unreasonable amount of time between appointments. She claimed she was going to charge me for a full set, even though I'm getting a fill in because of the time that had passed. Made absolutely no sense to me, so I asked if this was detailed on their site. She said it's just something known because there's more work associated with fill-ins that are 3 weeks old. I even showed her my Venmo receipt for when I tipped her last time to show her that I had only seen her 3 weeks ago. She insisted, that 2 week old fill in prices are reflected on the website but their policy is after 2 weeks, they charge full set prices. And because she had already started to get the gel off, I just suggested doing a full set, thinking why would I pay for a full set without getting one? Then she calculated the nail shape (medium sized almond), French manicure costs and quoted me the total for full set vs fill in. There was a minimal difference. So, then she asked if I still want the full set, I tell her yes. She brings down the fill in price (to what the website reflects). I tell her I'm still fine with the full set. Then she decides FOR me, "I don't know if I have time for a full set right now, so it's probably best to do the fill in." Unbelievable. Shady as hell. Plus, she's supposed to be good but it wasn't remotely close to the image I showed her. I'm never going back. Wanted to warn the rest of you. Hope this helps! read more

It pains me that I have to update my review because, I truly had a great experience at this nail salon. However, I requested and paid for a full set, and after only 3 days they're starting to lift. I've never had that happen in such a short period of time. In the past, when the acrylic on my nails would lift, it would happen after I'd had several fill ins and it was time to remove the acrylic and start fresh. I didn't submerge or "soak" my hands in water either. I'm frustrated and disappointed because, this full set cost me $97, and although they're beautiful, it's trash now. I will likely have to remove the acrylic from all of my nails. I was planning on coming back to get my fill ins, but now I don't think it's worth me driving all the way from Brunswick, MD to Hannover, MD just for expensive nails that won't last. This is one of the reasons why I stopped getting my nails done years ago. I can save my money for something else. I can't even go and have them fixed because, it's out of the way and my schedule is so busy. Anyway, I hate that I had to update my review. SERVICE **** FOOD ** AMBIENCE **** I didn't feel like they were rushing through it, which is what I have experienced in the past with other places. An example is that nail soaking in the scrub rub should not be only seconds long but more like minutes and actually cleaned under the nail as well. The bar looks very nice compared to the other one in Ellicott City, and I actually ordered mimosa. As with a bar, part of the experience is how the beverage is served. Mimosa should be in a champagne glass or some sort of glass container and not a plastic cup. This is just my preference, though, so take it with a grain of salt. The location's bar looked like it was soldemly used (layer of dust). I did see candy snacks at the door when I was leaving, but I rarely eat candy. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the music while I was there. The staff are quite personable from my conversations with a few of them. I was surprised to see that another franchise of this business that's much more local to my residence than the one in Ellicott City. I don't have a lot of experiences with nail salons, but the overall experience with this one was really worth 4 stars. They are now my preference for the Anne Arundel area & I recommended them. read more

I'm so glad I found this place! I found them driving by in the area and saw they had Sunday hours which works best for my schedule. They greeted me instantly when I walked in the door and I was quickly serviced by Jennifer. She was such a sweetie pie! She took her time doing my pedicure and asked if I was comfortable throughout my service. My pedicure turned out wonderful and my feet felt sooo good afterwards! Ask for her if you decide to try this place, you won't be disappointed! They offer the cutest names for their pedicure services like a drink menu, Mojito, Cosmo etc. tithe prices were decent for what they are offering IMO. The place is definitely high class and luxury! Won't be returning. I tried this nail bar twice and both times was not impressed with the service! The first time, I made an appt for Mindy. When I arrived I was pawned off to another employee who destroyed my pedicure. She cut my toenails in slants due to a break in the nail, and then threw polish on my toe nails. I refused to let her do my pedicure and instead waited patiently for Mindy to do my manicure. I complained about the pedicure and Mindy, who was so kind, did her best to rectify my pedicure. Ultimately acrylic had to be added in order to make my toenails look presentable. Mindy complained on my behalf to management and there response was "I should have made an appt." When I stated that I had indeed made an appt WITH MINDY, she just said "oh we'll fix it." And walked away. The management then tried to charge me for the acrylic and did not take any money off for the entire inconvenience of my appt!!! I thought ok maybe that was just a bad first impression and I would give it another try. Same bad experience. I scheduled a mani/pedi. When the pedicure started, I reminded Mia (who I realized is the same store owner that dismissed me at my first appt) about the acrylic that was placed on my toe nails at my last appt due to one of her employees doing such a horrible job with my nails. She, in turn, didn't bother to smooth out the acrylic properly instead she wanted me to refill the acrylic and I refused. I also requested a callous removal and she did nothing! Ran the grater over a couple of areas and tried to oil my heels. When I complained she told me I would have to put cream on my dry skin!!!! I didn't bother with the manicure. Dried my toes and drove to a better establishment in Columbia to do a proper manicure. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE! There aim is just to do mediocre work, get you in and out, but charge upscale prices! Also Mindy has left and she seemed to be the only person, that I encountered, who did her work with integrity. Update: so after receive IG horrible nail care. My toenail had now broken and is falling off. Returned to the shop asking them to remove the acrylic that I never asked for before more trouble was caused to my toenail and the video below is the treatment that I received. Mind you this is one of the owners who sat on his behind and refused to do anything about the trauma being cause to my toenail. This will now become a legal issue for them! read more

The salon is VERY nice, and clean. However the nail tech that I was originally given should not be able to do nails. And I'm honestly questioning if she's licensed. She's older and I didn't catch her nam. I came in for a simple dip powder manicure. And it was HORRIBLE. It honestly looked as if a child did them. I wish I had taken a picture. It was someone else (the owner I believe) came over to try to repair. Which I appreciated, because the job was so botched. And I appreciated him trying to do what he could to fix the situation. After being in the salon for 2+ hours I still payed. I wasn't going to leave a review. But Fast forward to today (a few days later) the polish is cracking and chipping away near the cuticle.
