I waited in my car until 11:15 and when I went in I still had to wait another 10 minutes to be seen. They had a basket of mini candy bars and chips next to the seats where you wait. Once seated in the pedicure chair, I was offered a "complimentary" beverage (water, coffee, tea, wine or champagne) which I declined. I was also presented with a pedicure menu. They have different types of pedicures ranging from $35-$85 and gel is an additional $20. The prices may be a little higher than other salons because of all the free/complimentary items they offer. My nail tech Steven was professional and thorough but the pedicure area itself was pretty loud and not relaxing at all. They don't take tips on credit cards so be prepared to pay the tip with cash, Venmo, Cash App or Zelle.

We arrived and were greeted by pleasant staff. There were three of us getting pedicures and informed them of that. We were directed to checkin on a kiosk and less than five minutes later, were escorted back to the pedicure area. We each had pleasant staff servicing us. We were given a menu of services. They specialize in nail, pedicure, and waxing services. We each got different pedicure services: I got the basic pedicure with regular nail polish, two got the basic pedicure with gel polish. The stations were clean and the staff very engaging. They had various snacks (chips, soda, candy) in addition to wine (red or white) provided complimentary with the service. We were all pleased with our services. The only thing I would say is that the person performing my service kept insisting that I complete the survey online with 5 stars BEFORE my service was completed. They insisted about three times and hovered to see that I would complete it before my service was completed. I told them the last time, very sternly, that I NEVER complete a review until my service is completed. As I was the only one who had to sit under the fan to dry my toenails because I got regular polish, after my nails dried, I did complete the survey. All in all, a nice place to go for a pedicure and I will be visiting again, One bit of advice, Inspire Mail Bar: Don't hound customers to complete a review (and encourage a five star one at that) before services are completed. Today day 3 of my nails I've noticed swelling around some of my cuticles. That's when I learned this was indeed not normal. They are still itchy and not probably infected or might become so. I like the style I choose and over all the swelling, the unleveled nail, uneven-ness and even slightly crooked placement doesn't stand out from the naked eye unless some actually chooses to examine my nails. My appointment stretched over two hours, during which I was attended to by three different technicians. At one point, the second technician had to leave to assist another customer, which led to a frustrating 45-minute wait without any nail polish being applied. To make matters worse, I was simply left sitting there. The only thing I received during this delay was an extended chair massage, while I watched the woman next to me being tended to by the technician who had originally been assigned to me. I clearly communicated my desired nail color to Cody, the first technician, and reiterated my choice again to the second one. However, by the time the third technician arrived, I could no longer find the reference image I had initially provided due to the long wait. Consequently, I ended up with two coats of baby pink polish, which was nothing like what I had originally envisioned. The woman beside me, who my second technician began serving, actually received a full pedicure and waxing before they even thought to address my toes again. This occurred after I had already been in the salon for over 30 minutes, which left me feeling completely overlooked. It was clear to me they weren't accommodating walk-ins effectively. All I wanted was to get my feet polished. The overall experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. Furthermore, the pricing was confusing. I requested a standard pedicure without gel, but was told that would incur an extra charge. This is concerning, as it felt like unexpected fees were being pushed onto customers. On top of that, I didn't even receive the foot massage that is usually a part of the pedicure until I specifically asked for it from the third technician. This oversight truly took away from the relaxation I was hoping to achieve. I ultimately paid $38 and left a $10 tip, but I left feeling frustrated as the salon didn't offer any form of concession for the trouble I endured. To top it all off, when I got home, I discovered a cut on the side of my foot and realized that the callus removal had not even been completed. The owner Thomas and his wife arrived around 30 minutes before I was leaving. They attempted to appease me with excuses for the technicians' performance, attributing it to a breakdown in communication. The fitness center was very nice too. It provided the equipment that I needed to get a great workout while staying at the hotel. I was then told my original holding fee had already been used, but I could receive a refund after speaking with management if I placed another holding fee for a new appointment on April 23 at 2:30 PM. After finally attending the April 23 appointment, I asked about the refund I had been promised and was then told by another employee that I could not be refunded even though all of these issues were caused by staff errors, not me. I came for a massage to relax during the final weeks of pregnancy and instead left feeling frustrated and more stressed. The lack of organization, poor communication, and conflicting information from staff was extremely disappointing. A spa should be peaceful and professional, but this experience was the complete opposite.

After reviewing their work on Instagram, we decided to make an appointment here. Originally, my daughter wanted to stick with dip to maintain her natural nail length, but the nail tech explained that the specific design she requested could not be achieved with dip powder. She transitioned to Aprés Gel-X instead, and still made changes from the original inspiration photo to simplify needs and costs after consulting with the nail tech. The final result was absolutely gorgeous and prom-ready! The only surprise was the number of additional fees added throughout the appointment, so she called me a few times to confirm costs before proceeding. I was happy to cover it for such a memorable milestone event. In the end she got one nail with light blue french tip, two nails painted blue and two nails with painted butterfly or flower design on each hand where in her original design it was a different design on each nail. While we will likely continue using our regular salon for routine nails due to the pricing structure here, I would recommend Nail Haven for weddings, prom, and other special occasions depending on your design aspirations.
