This is the second time I've made an appointment with Selena and had to wait over an hour to be seen by her. I waited the first time and she did great work on my nails which is the only reason I came back. I have an important event to attend tomorrow and made my appointment for 5pm today. I arrived at 5:00 and Selena was just starting with a client's set. I don't understand the purpose of making an appointment if clients aren't seen at the time of their appointment. There was no apology or acknowledgement of when I would she would be done so I soaked off the set I had and left. I will never return to this salon. read more

I just went there for the first time in August, 2023. I loved that they are open until 8pm and have a couple tv screens with movies while you have your nails done! I have not experienced this anywhere else. I also loved my Pedicure! read more

Thanks for the explanation but how you explain the situation is not how it went down. I had been waiting for almost an hour before anyone came over to explain what was going on to me. Another customer who had an appointment two hours after me came in and was able to be seen by Selena. I was told that she took medication and could not do my nails, but another customer who came in AFTER me was able to be seen by her. I feel as though that was rather ironic. As a business owner you should have given me a discount as that was clearly poor customer service. Not only will I not return, but I will tell others of my experience and forewarn them of the "customer service". read more

Came here for a pedi with one of my friends. The tech I had was wonderful, very sweet. I wish I had asked her name. Prices aren't bad $25 for A regular pedicure & $5 for callous remover. My friend had fill-in with gel polish, pedicure with callous remover and eyebrows for $75. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be back. read more

I took a chance on Nail Tech in Pasadena and it was not a good experience at all! I had a full set of acrylics (which I have had many times in the past and wore for over a year). Within a few days it already looked like I needed a fill in. I broke a nail after one week and made a trip back to have it repaired and asked the nail tech about the fact that already looked like a fill in was needed. After laughing at me, she said it was my fault and she can't control how quickly my nails grow. Previously I have been able to go for at least 2 weeks before needing a fill in. My mother got a gel manicure and her nails were chipping after just a few days. I wouldn't recommend Nail Tech to anyone and I personally wouldn't return even if you paid me. read more

Every time I come here I am met with rude and down right unfriendly employees. I've noticed the more I have gone that they are super nice and talkative to the customers they know who are regulars but if you come in and they don't recognize you their short and unfriendly. I have one of the electric nail cutters that they use at my house. I use it on my own nails so I can trim them down short and not have to come in every two weeks for a fill-in. I have never been told by any nail tech that this was something I shouldn't be doing until the guy who owns this place yelled at me for doing it. He wanted to charge me for a full set when I only needed a fill in. If I want to save my money and trim my acrylic nails down at home then I should be able to but of course he wanted to convince me otherwise so I would spend money at his place every two weeks for a fill-in. So guess what? I'm never spending money at this place again. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Worst service! My friend and I walked in and asked for pedicures. Some employee said to pick our color. We chose colors and waited for about 15 mins until we were told to come back for pedicures. A nail tech began to work on my feet. She was extremely distracted by Dr. Phil. I mean she turned all the way around to the tv at least 4 times. She was extremely unfriendly! My friend waited beside me in the chair with her feet soaking. No one....absolutely no one came to help her!!! When the nail tech was finished with my feet, we asked her who would help my friend, she pointed to another technician that was busy. She left us. That busy nail tech finished the manicure she was working. Instead of helping my friend, she was so GREEDY that she would rather push (badger) her client into an $8 eyebrow wax than help my friend. Once they left for the wax, my friend had enough. Now, you have lost out on $25! Who wants to soak in a tub for over an hour? Why didn't they just tell us they were busy? This place would rather pile people in for profit than offer quality. When we complained to the tech, she rolled her eyes at us and asked why we had a problem. The audacity! Don't go here!!! People, please here me. Pay a few dollars more for quality service and products. You are worth it! Cheap isn't always better. Awful employees! read more

If I could give this place no stars I would, I used to go to nifty nails and since being sold to different owners I needed to find a new salon asap. I was recommended to go here and I only have two words for nail tech! NEVER AGAIN! Rude doesn't even begin to explain the attitude of the employees here. Unless you are a regular the only time they talk to you is when you are told to pick your color, wash your hands, and pay. I have gone twice, giving them the benefit of the doubt. They were just as rude and the older woman who did my nails and pedicure was so ruff and careless that she burned me with the nail drill and dug her nails into my nail beds when removing my polish. I can only pray to find a more friendly place where I feel welcomed and not treated as an outcast. read more
