Purity Nail & Spa - French tip gel manicure - Nail Salons Near Me - Pasadena, Maryland

Business is nice and clean but it is extremely over priced. I was charged $167 for dip manicure with chrome.

I want to start by saying that the woman that did my nails was sweet. This does not reflect her. However, my friend and I went to get our nails done and I have to say, I was shocked at the price. I got a basic pedicure and gel tips. The total came to $122.00. I had no special art. Just French tips. And then white gel on my toes. Maybe I'm out of touch, but I really am shocked at this price. Do you think the attached photo is worth $122.00? My friend likewise got all white gel nails with tips and plain nail polish on her toes. Again no art. Her total was $95.00 In all my life I've NEVER paid this much for nails and I've gotten gel, dip, art, etc. I'm really not seeing what was $122.00 literally total together we paid $217. For all white toes, white nails, and French tips. Edit: I just woke up in the middle of the night and several of my fingers are sore. read more

Nails break, they do not standing behind their work. They start off nice, get paid and then become very uncaring and unresponsive.

I went here with my daughter to get mani and pedi before heading to Disney. my daughter had basic mani and pedi, I had a collagen pedi and basic mani. The nail technician asked if I wanted a longer nail trimmed which I said yes, thinking she was going to trim it to be even length to my other nails. The nail technician ended up cutting the nail down to my skin and then had to cut the remaining nails that low to make them all even. I am sad about my really short nails, because my natural nails were long. I personally have never had my nails cut this low and miss having my long nails. Once I went to pay I was shocked that the price for 2 basic mani, 1 basic pedi, and 1 pedi that was suppose to be $51 came up to over $200. I was not given a price breakdown or told the price if anything besides my pedi. I was a little surprised that our nails, basic with gel cost so much. I am especially said that my natural long nails are now gone. It is overpriced and there is no clear breakdown of cost. read more

I walked in a few days before Christmas and was taken care of right away. I got a hot stones pedicure first and then a full set for my hands. I showed my nail technician pictures of the designs I wanted for both my toes and my hands and she did a fantastic job on both. The salon itself was decorated beautifully for Christmas and was very clean. I couldn't be happier with my experience here and will definitely be back! read more

I've been super disappointed for over a year now. Complete indifference when I would express that I wasn't happy with their work. Even seemed annoyed that I would ask for it to be fixed. Raised their prices again. I've finally found an alternative that I really like; check out iNails & Spa. read more

My first visit was on 3/28/21. I had an appointment but I still had to wait a long time. This was the only part of the experience that I didn't like. My nails still look amazing today! I'm definitely going back soon and I really hope I don't have to wait again with another appointment. I've attached a picture of my nails 1.5 weeks later . I love them! read more

I made an appointment at 12 for a gel manicure and pedicure. I arrived at 12:03.. no greeting, no standard "pick a color and we will be with you in a minute" ...... waited until 12:20 to be taken to a dirty table. While the guy answered every call that came in requesting appointments, I waited somewhat patiently as he searched through the apt book and scheduled people. By 12:35 the lengthy process of removing my gel manicure hadn't even begun. I knew this would be a 2 plus hour process, and wasn't sure of anything at this point. I left. There are way too many nail salons in this area to have to put up with such terrible service. That is a service industry. I expect the care minimum. Cleanliness, honoring my appointment and some attention while I am there. None was given. I will not return. read more

Very professional every step of the way. As soon as I sat down to get a pedicure I was offered refreshments. My nail technician was very thorough and made sure my experience was a good one! Will be returning! Edit: they also have kid chairs for pedicures which were super cute! read more

I got my nails done by Leo on Friday... it's Thursday and the polish is chipping. Came in to get fixed, I was talked about by Leo in another language before approached by a woman saying they could only apply clear while the color is missing. I was prepared to pay but not full price however they seemed more intent to prove me wrong versus making me satisfied. Now they lost a client. read more

I requested a full set SHORT nails and with GEL and NO DESIGN, as well as a CLASSIC GEL pedicure .. total was $150 ?!?! I go to checkout and the nail tech ringing me up says $150 but her tone and stance didn't sit right with me. It was a question tone like, "$150" as if she was asking me the price. Shouldn't you know your prices ??A classic pedicure is somewhere around 35 plus added few dollars for gel and a full set is about $55. How does that add up ?? They overcharged she knew it and to make it even worse the gel on my toes is already chipping off three days later ! DONT RECOMMEND! GO SOMEWHERE WORTH YOUR DOLLAR! read more

I switched to Purity Nails about three months ago after having a negative experience at a different local nail place, and I couldn't be happier!! Purity Nails does an amazing job, and my manicures have lasted so long. I find even when I do tips it always looks so natural. I ALWAYS make my appointments with T and she does an incredible job! Great attention to detail, so kind, and she always exceeds my expectations. I went to this salon because of the views but I will not be back. There's too many options and places to give a shot. I was disappointed with my visit. I called ahead and was told to come in ASAP. When I arrived I wasn't greeted or told any instruction. I signed myself in and started looking at colors (bc that's standard procedure). I selected my color and eventually was greeted. I told my lady my color and she came back with a completely different color and said that the one she had was better...thankfully I'm not picky but I found that odd especially bc they weren't even close to the same color. I was escorted to a table and she took off my prior gel coat. I told her that my nails were 3 weeks out and she made the comment that I need to come every 2 weeks bc they lose money and whoever did them did them too well...also odd. I was then switched to a guy that was nice but answering the phone the entire time doing my nails. The work area wasn't the cleanest and it just felt rushed. There was 0 cuticle care. Upon paying the lady who checked me out was super pushy on paying with cash tip (I know why but damn I felt like I was being scolded). I am sure there are phenomenal nail techs there but the business as a whole is a no for me. read more

The salon is spotless and the technicians are excellent. I have been to many nail salons and this one is by far the nicest.

Beautiful as always!! Would 100% recommend this place. I forgot to write a review when I go these done in the summer, but the person I had did a beautiful job. These are by far the nicest shape coffin nails I've had, and when scrolling through my pictures looking for nail salons in my new location I got sad that purity is so far! read more

Me and my friend had s wonderful time at Purity. I got acrylics, loved them! My nail tech was very nice and super friendly. She was very willing to make changes i requested about shape and color. Very disappointed with the manicure I received. Asked for almond shaped and instead got very short pointy shape. Total waste of money. My hands are short and stubby and normally at other salons they make my fingers look longer, not here, she actually made my fingers look shorter. Acrylic is way to think and every nail is crooked leaning to one side. Also thought I was getting dip powder French manicure and ended up with gel polish french. Hate my nails for 70.00. Wish I had time to go somewhere else to have them redone but leaving on a cruise so no time. Will not return. read more

This place is super clean, the technicians are friendly, and they did good on my nails.

I went in for a mani/pedi and requested a specific manicurist. I was given someone else. She did not give me her name. During my pedicure, the worker cut my toe while clipping the nails. I let her know that I was in pain and I also let her know I was bleeding. I'm not sure why she didn't see that since she was inches from my foot. Only after telling her I was in pain did she try to stop the bleeding. Since she was not aware, or seemed to care, that she was cutting me, I stopped her and left...cancelling the manicure. No one else there seemed interested in what was going on. I was charged full price for my pedicure. I will NEVER go back to this salon again. If you do, good luck. My toe finally stopped bleeding after 3 days. James J. read more

I made an appointment this morning and came to my appointment on time but waited well over 30 minutes to get any service done and this was my first visit. They kept stalling me telling me to pick a color without just saying they're behind and could not honor my appointment time. After my scheduled pedicure was done, I'm still waiting another 30 minutes so far for my nail service and this place closes in 40 minutes. My whole evening has been totally wasted. If it weren't for me starting my new job Monday and tomorrow being Easter, I would've left over an hour ago. I will not be returning to this place. read more

My daughter and I had an appointment tonight at Purity nail & spa. Tony was my tech and could not find the color I wanted which was #181 (orange), returning with red and a dark purple. The service ended with him putting hot towels on my legs and never returned to take them off. He was too worried getting to his next client. Peter was my daughters tech who was rough with her the whole time and cut her repeatedly, without any apology after she told him. Her polish does not look even and her toe nail with acrylic is not straight after she told him it was crooked. We will not be returning here and would not recommend this nail salon. read more
