I've been a dedicated customer of Vox Nail Spa since they first opened their doors, and I can confidently say they are the best beauty salon I've ever experienced. My technician and store owner, Mimi, is absolutely fantastic--her kindness and welcoming attitude make you feel more than just a client. She genuinely listens to what you want and always goes the extra mile to deliver it. If she feels she can't achieve exactly what you're asking for or if there's an issue with your nails, she won't proceed just for the sake of a sale--her care for her clients truly shows. They also offer other incredible services like eyebrow waxing and tinting, lip waxing, eyelash extensions, and an amazing pedicure--my personal favorite. Honestly, regardless of which technician you see, you're in excellent hands because Mimi only hires top-notch professionals. Yes, they might be a bit more expensive than other salons, but the quality and personalized service make it absolutely worth it. This is my go-to spot, and I'm a customer for life. I highly encourage you to give Vox Nail Spa a try--you'll love it! read more

Four weeks later and I am still getting compliments on my nails. I visited Vox nails for the first time to get a pedicure and gel manicure. Eddie serviced me, he did a great job. He took his time and ensured my nails came out well. I was excited to see they carry my favorite nail brand, DND. I got the color pixie 727 and I am still getting so many compliments. I need to get them redone soon. There is plenty of free parking available. read more

Vox nail spa is where I've been getting my nails done for the past few months and I really love the nail services, consistently good experiences I've had with them, ease of booking appointments by phone, and convenient location in a shopping center with ample parking. I especially enjoy never waiting for my nails to be done because the technicians here are attentive to their clients and give focus to the person sitting in front of them without stopping to assist other clients in between and they get you in and out without half the day lost sitting in the salon. I never feel rushed and my nails always look pristine so I appreciate that they value my time. I think they are reasonably priced too, but I would still appreciate having an itemized receipt when I check out as opposed to just a print out with a service charge on it. It gets cumbersome having to ask for a break down of what I'm paying for each time I visit instead of it just being printed out proactively, but I love Nhu nhu's work and fun personality, so I'll stick with Vox as long as she's there. read more

Vox Nail Spa - Fall set - Nail Salons Near Me - Glen Burnie, Maryland

I've been looking for an upscale nail salon in Glen Burnie, so I was pleased to find this salon. The decor is beautiful and the service was good. They did a good job with taking precautions against COVID 19, and it made me comfortable after not having a pedi in three (3) months. My pedicurist was Momma! Yes, I had to ask twice for the pronunciation of her name. She was very nice and took her time to provide great service. Did I mentioned that they serve wine?!?! One of the highlights to the service. Usually, I travel to Annapolis for this type of service. I plan on visiting them in the near future and perhaps get a mani and pedi. I would recommend this business. read more

This isn't the first time they have over charged me. First I was over charged for a pedicure. Than today I was charged 75.00 for a full set. Pink acrylic and a clear coat. I was also charged 10.00 for nail length. I've been getting my nails done here and always the same length, never once have I been charged for nail length. I went there three weeks ago for a gel manicure. An older lady did my nails and they were horrible, they were lumpy and uneven. The manager fixed them but I still was not super happy with them. I decided to give them one more chance today. They gave me Holly, and let me just tell you!!! She more than made up for any bad experience prior!!! She was detailed and clean and organized! Get rid of the bad attitude while overcharging people. Also recognize that the same people being mistreated and poorly serviced make the business. There are many other establishments that those who have kept you in business can, and have moved their business to. What you have gotten away with will catch up with you in the long run. It always does. The same people you step on going up you will see again on your way down. read more

Helen worse nail tecH ever and a LIAR . She attempts to use her not knowing English very well as an excuse for her UNPROFESSIONALISM . If you are a person that cares about safety and health this is your warning .She's very slow and then tells the owner that your the problem and that you were the one who made her take so long . Not the case ! I sat and was serviced . Totally blindsided by her accusation. She's not clean she dropped working materials on the floor and tried to reuse . This is my second time returning to this place. I was hoping to get a different lady but I got the same lady. She made me bleed during my pedicure not once but twice. She did decent on the pedicure. But when it came to my gel manicure I've never seen such a bad manicure. I payed $92 with tip for manicure and a pedicure. First of all she extremely slow. She took longer than anyone else and I was just getting a basic gel manicure the people around me were getting tips added I didn't even do that they were finished before me and I started before them. The gel is still sticking to the bottoms of my fingers she missed spots on my fingers and I don't know how she did that because she put so many coats of gel on my fingers. She cut me so many times she had to bring out some weird blood clotting stuff. read more

Have been her twice to get my feet done as I tend to do my own finger nails. The shop I was previously going to was way overpriced. This shop is moderately priced good service, no complaints. Suggest making a appointment it does get busy. read more

Overall the esthetics of the shop is nice and the nail techs do a good job. However, this shops is overly priced and the customer service is horrible especially Tony at the front desk. I started going here in 2020 and things started off good. There have been times when I called to make an appointment and when I get there either they say they don't have a record of me calling or the nail tech is late (not all the time but there have been multiple occasions this occurred). When I say over price I truly mean it......how is it that my total is always over $150 but I can never get a customized receipt. It's like they make up the price when you go up there. I have tested this theory by going to 3 other nail salons close in the area and getting the exact same thing (dip powder, no design and gel manicure) ....two provided me with the customize receipt but none were even close to $150. The good thing is there are plenty of nail salons in this area that a decent with overcharging! read more

Had my first pedi here today. At $27 it was a bit more expensive than I'm used to. Pedi itself was slightly above average. All employees were extremely polite and professional. Cost is basically because the decor is top notch. Beautifully decorated, but honestly I'd sacrifice some of that for a lower priced service. Only other criticism is that the music should be appropriate for all ages/genders. In other words play radio friendly music so language or theme isn't an issue. read more

I started going to Vox this summer and I'm soooo glad I did. Mimi is an AMAZING nail technician and her ability to do designs is out of this world. This week I wasn't able to get an appointment with Mimi because she was booked but I was still satisfied with my nails. Tony was working the front desk and his customer service was phenomenal, he kept checking on me because I came after work and they were very busy. To ensure that I still left at a decent time he actually started my nails for me until a technician was available. I will keep going to Vox. read more

Called ahead of time to ask about pricing still ended up being charged $32 more than I was quoted, my nail tech cut herself and continued to not only do my nails but also (half assed) gave me a hand massage, they didn't have the color they advertised that they had so half way through my service I was asked to pick a new color that now doesn't match my toes. Which brings us to the pedicure painful, no massage or Calais treatment (despite me paying extra for it), and my toenail shape non existent. Only come here if you want to be over charged and disappointed. Finger nail shape is fire so if they didn't try to milk me for every cent I had and bleed on me it would have been a great time. read more

I had high hopes for this salon as it came recommended from a friend of mine. The staff was friendly enough. There was 0 wait time for my gel manicure which was exciting. My daughters nails took a bit longer to get started. My nail tech took her time, burned me a couple of times with the drill and cut my cuticle too far on one hand. Again no biggie it happens. Over 2 hours later I was happy enough. Prices were reasonable as well. 4 days later, 3 cracked and 1 chipped nail later, I'm extremely annoyed that I paid $35 for polish that is supposed to last 2 weeks. Aside from that my daughter's $45 set with white polish has already started to turn yellow and fade. Not sure what products they use, but we won't be returning. read more

So I usually get my nails done at another salon but my nail lady is on vacation. I called vox nail spa and set up an appointment. The man who did my nails was at chair 17. I asked him to do a specific design and then I changed my mind three times. He didn't do the cow print the way I wanted him to and I asked him to change that design too. I felt so bad because I knew I was getting on his nerves. He did everything I asked him to do and honestly this is one of the best sets I've ever had. If vox nails can see this review I want to say a special thank you for being SO patient with me and giving me exactly what I wanted. This place is wonderful, the music is great, the atmosphere is nice, it's clean, and their work is exceptional. Thank you thank you thank you! 10/10 read more

I've been to this location before and have never had a major problem with my nails. This time was different. The girl who did my pedicure was so sweet and did an amazing job. The guy who did my manicure was nice but my nails aren't at the standard I'm used to. As you can see in the pictures, my nails look sloppy. I came in for fullset, design nails, and a pedicure. My services were done by Cristine. We discussed a price while I was sitting at the table on check out The price was a lot more than we discussed, but also significantly high according to the pamphlet that sits in front, I did not complain. My cuticles we're covered in oil so the day after I saw that they were very crusty with residual product. It took several days for this crustiness to come off. During my pedicure all of the services were not done, most people get pedicures so that their feet could be properly scrubbed and massaged. I didn't get that. My nails were being polished a few minutes after they were taken out of the water. And they were cured under the UV light for not enough time. I didn't pay for a basic pedicure ..when I pointed out that she Had not scrubbed my feet, She told me that I didn't need to, but still charged me for that increase pedicure. Five days after leaving, my big toes began to crack and the nail polish peeled off in chunks. I was away on vacation so I sent her pictures the following day... She told me I could come in and she would fix it. I contacted her when I was back and available based on work and health emergencies. She told me that I would have to pay for my polish, and when I told her I was unhappy with the services and the customer service she told me that it was business. I would not recommend going to her because she overcharges for her designs, her pedicures are poor, and she does not take pride in the quality of her work. read more

This exactly my point "I only started complaining about wanting free repairs for my nails after 10 days of being on vacation and I never mentioned my fingernails" Funny how I have pictures that were taking on my cell phone of my finger and toe nails THREE days after getting them done and the pictures are TIME STAMPED with the date and time on them... but you don't acknowledge that right???? The pictures don't lie only you do with your terrible customer service... if I had only read the other terrible reviews that are on here and Facebook before I went then I would have saved myself the head ache. Cut all the BS out the story .... I spent over 150 after tipping the technicians.... I have pictures that prove they didn't last 3 days.... you responded saying they used the wrong polish .... you knew I was in South Carolina on vacation and couldn't come in until I got back.... SO WHY WOULDNT YOU FIX THEM .... instead you ruin your reputation, oh yea you already had plenty of bad reviews... This company is 100% a joke... PS.... my Facebook review is still up liar ... read more

The place is in a good location and very nice decorated, however that is as far as it goes. The customer service needs to improve a whole lot. There is no receptionist. They charged $44 for a regular refill and the guy that did mine was super rough to the point that he hurt me. I had to tell him to slow down. And he kept hitting my feet down when doing the pedicure. I could not be happier with how my mani and pedi turned out. I came in on the eve of my birthday to try these guys out. My regular nail tech was out sick and I needed three nails repaired and a pedicure. I was greeted warmly and taken care of by a careful, attentive, and very kind young man. He was FANTASTIC with me. He stopped several times to make sure everything was ok. The foot massage you receive are normally quite basic but the one I got from him, I almost melted into the floor. He cared enough to do a good job and it showed. I was very picky with my colors and style (it's a big birthday), and he was patient and detail oriented enough to get it perfect. I do mean perfect. This was my first and last visit. Mimi was rude, unprofessional and nasty to say the least. Kept texting on her phone, got up and went to take a call outside and messed my nails up! And got upset when I said I wasn't satisfied with her work! Then called the Police like I was trying to leave without paying. Which, I wasn't! I just wanted her to fix my nails! I ask for a cut down but, not like what she did. She was detracted the entire time she was working on my nails! I hope this will help the next choose wisely where you spend your dollars! I will be posting another review on Yelp and hopefully I can post a before and after picture of my nails! The proof is in the picture. I'm a business owner and I wouldn't sell anything I'm not proud of!!! Beware Ladies... I'll leave a before and after picture and let you be the judge! Went in to get a pedicure while I had some time to kill in the GB area. I have been getting pedicures for 20 years. Have to say this one was Not worth my $45. For that much money, I expect a good long foot/leg massage. Definitely got none of that. The staff was not very friendly and/or talkative. The only nice thing about the place is the decor. I get it is a nail salon but the smell of acetone should be the first thing that greets you. Actually the chemical smell slapped me in the face it was so strong. Then there is the obnoxious rap music, this is not relaxing its out right annoying, it's the hardcore type with profanity. I went for a simple pedicure, and it's expensive here, the decor and new equipment I suspect. Try 27.00 for a simple pedicure, nothing wow, I will give them this NOTHING is reused, the tools are sealed packets. The tubs are plastic bagged and the pumice is thrown away after the session. This is the cleanest and health safe place I have been to, they don't play with foreign foot cooties. I came here as a walk in the day before New year's Eve to see if I could get fit in for a fill. They fit me in just fine and Mimi did my nails. Her polish work and nail art were beautiful, but she was SO heavy handed with the dremel that I had scrapes and scabs on every single finger. I called to make a follow up appointment this weekend in hopes that I could get Mimi again and maybe ask her to be a little more gentle (because her polish and nail art really were nice) but the receptionist who answered the phone was RUDE! I asked if she had available appointments, was curtly told no and before I could ask to check a future date was hung up on.
