I went to get a full set for a wedding I was in. I showed a photo of what I was looking for color and design and mentioned if she was not able to do it that's fine I can go with something basic. I picked a color pretty close to my dress but I guess they didn't have that color (I wasn't told that) so she picked another color. I couldn't see exactly what was happening as my hand was angled downward towards her. I noticed she was watching a show on her phone the entire time. When I realized what the color was it was too late. My dress was a sage green very pastel tone of color and she had picked a neon green. Then she attempted to add neon orange into it I have no idea why as there was no orange in the reference photo, I managed to get her to take it off. My nails were extremely thick and lumpy. After she added neon green French tips and scraped out a bubble she said she was done. I had to ask her to file out the scraping she had done AND add clear coat to the top. I immediately ended up driving to another nail salon to have them fix it... I spent over $100 on something I had taken off not twenty minutes later. read more

I received a toe polish change and removal of my acrylic nails. My toes were polished nicely. My acrylic was not removed properly. There was no soaking involved in the removal of my 2 week old acrylic nails. (If you've been getting acrylic for a while you know what I mean by this). The 2 star rating comes from the price point. $25 for these 2 services. Again, my nails were not soaked off. They were taken off with a nail clipper. My normal nail tech charges $20 to remove acrylic. But she does not do any drilling and allows your nails to soak. Cuticles are cleaned, nails are filed. Leaving this salon my nails are sore. Customer service was... okay. Not bad but not good. I only received these 2 services to test this salon out. There are so many good reviews. I will NEVER go back to this nail salon. The staff at Amore Nail Spa are inconsiderate, unprofessional, and they treated me like a thief. As a mother of 4 boys, I rarely get a moment to myself, so I reserved a babysitter to do a little self care. With the limited time I had, I decided to get a pedicure at my local nail salon. I arrived at Amore Nail Spa at 1:30 pm, with a little over an hour to spare before I had to get back home. When I arrived, I asked how long would it be for a pedicure and they sat me down right away. There was another young lady who said she had been waiting for awhile for a manicure. They had me waiting and soaking my feet for a good 45 mins before two separate nail techs started with my pedicure (the first was pulled away to work on someone else). I kept asking them if it would take long and they kept telling me to wait 2 mins. I shared that I had to return home and if it would take long, I could come back another day. They assured me that I would be seen soon. When they finally got to me, I shared that although I came in for a gel pedicure, given the long wait, I could only get the pedicure without any nail color. My requests were ignored. As they started the gel pedicure, I asked them to stop the service because I needed to get home. While I was walking to the front to make the payment for the services I received, the nail tech followed close behind me as if I was going to make a run for it. I asked how much I owed, and she quoted $35. When I asked her what was I paying for exactly, she told me it was for the pedicure and color. I expressed that I'm not paying for color because I didn't get the color, then she quoted $30. I asked if they accepted Zelle payments and sent the payment. As I was walking out the door, they asked if I could wait so they can get confirmation that the payment was sent. I showed them the Zelle confirmation on my phone and asked if they received it, they said yes so I started to leave again. Somehow my leaving was an issue because they asked me to wait again. At this point, I'm in a rush and frustrated, so I unfortunately had to raise my voice to ask if they received the Zelle payment - the woman said yes, so I left. As I was walking to my car, there was a man running behind me and approached me at my car, asking me again if I sent the payment--- I felt singled out!! I told him I sent the payment through Zelle, showed him the payment confirmation, and asked him to leave me alone. He then asked if I sent the money through Apple Pay. Did he not hear me?? I clarified once again it was sent through Zelle. This business is more concerned about money than quality customer service. They singled me out and treated me like a thief after I showed them multiple times that the payment was sent. The way they treated me, I will NEVER go back - the long waits, the unprofessionalism, the mistreatment - it's not worth the limited time I have for self care. I hope anyone looking to visit this nail salon would reconsider. read more

Will never recommend. My 1st visit was ok, (Lucy did my nails and feet). She put 3 nails on totally crooked, when I mentioned it to her she acted like she didn't understand and kept going on. I figured I'd give them another try and this time, when I walked on, I specifically asked for someone that was really creative e and could do nail designs, the lady in the front pointed to cyndi. She made my appt to come back for 2pm. I was there 2 min early. Cyndi came over after I said I wanted the 2 nails that were really crooked to be replaced, (the 3rd one already broke off so that was a nail repair) she said she could fix them, which obviously couldn't be fixed if you look at the picture. (What was she going to do, attach another nail and then put the acrylic over it?!?! Lol) Cyndi had no one at her table when I came in for my appt at 2. Then a lady walks in and she worked on her nails even though I had the appt and the other lady didn't. (I would like to note then when I said 3 times, I didn't want her to fix them, I wanted them replaced, she gave me an attitude and was very unprofessional with her sighing since the last technician put them on wrong). After 40 min past my appt time and she finishes the other lady, she apparently said something to me but I had my bluetooth in and was watching Netflix so I couldn't here her, she then raised her voice to me and said "do tou want your nails done?" I said yes, (thinking to myself, no I've just been sitting here for 40 min for my health!!" She then gave me an attitude again and was rude and said "I said something to you and you didn't answer me!!" I apologized and said "sorry I have my Bluetooth in and couldn't hear you" She was really aggressive buffing my nails and it hurt. When she was done painting them I asked her "how much per design?" She said she don't do designs, I said I explicitly asked who does designs and she said you do!. Clearly she was lying to me just to be done with me since the first time I was there I saw her doing another women's designs. I just said f it and wanted to leave at this point. She told me it was $50 for a fill in and 3 repairs. I said "3 repairs?!, I have to pay for 2 of the repairs that Lucy put on wrong?!" She said yes. Needless to say I will not being going there again or recommending them to any of clients. I really want to stand outside of this establishment and hoist the bullsh*t flag. Don't get sucked into the aesthetics of a salon's décor when you initially went there for service. Many of the stellar reviews they have are driven by the shallow promise of 10% off your next visit. If you can't get it right the first time, a return visit isn't going to happen. Went here on a Saturday afternoon for a manicure and pedicure. For those who still wish to chance it, there is a Yelp check in offer for $5 off of $50. Normally, nail salons are bustling on Saturdays but not the case during my visit. This salon has 10 pedicure chairs that provide massages while you're being serviced. The level of service received equated to what one would experience at a beauty school. Having frequented a beauty school I'd rate them higher than Amore. The selection of nail polish colors is limited and their quality is lackluster. Expect them to try to up-sell you to a gel manicure using the feeble excuse that their regular polish really doesn't last longer than a day. If you know this then why are you using subpar products on customer's? I tried to call them a day after my services to give feedback on my polish cracking and peeling after 1 day. Calls went unanswered so I stopped by after work and she was nonchalant about re-polishing my nails with the caveat of don't expect it to last. A total exercise in futility and I can't recommend or patronize them again. During the pedicure, steps were performed out of order. She polished my toes and then put my sandals back on and smudged the polish in the attempt. Her young daughter who sat very close by during the whole service even asked her why she did that and I had to chuckle at the raw honesty of kids...lol They are able to accept payment via Samsung pay, plenty of parking and periodically have promotions via the Yelp app. Allow me to blow the trumpet and in royal fashion welcome you to my one and done list. read more

We walked in and they offered us hand sanitizer, took our temperature and had us sign a consent form. Each pedicure bay was walled off to protect us and the technician. Very spacious, very clean, very friendly. They offer water soda coffee and tea. Went on Friday evening about 645pm. Inside is beautiful and clean. It was the worst pedicure ever. The nail technician kept hurting me and I would voice this and he didn't care. I spoke up at least 3 times. He was rushing got nail polish on my toes, he kept cutting into my skin and I didn't receive a massage. It was not relaxing as I was constantly on edge just waiting for him to hurt me again. It was horrible and I will never go back to pay $30 for 10 mins of pain. read more

My best friend and I were able to show up to the shop for Mani/pedi's and were immediately taken. The shop is clean and the staff are all friendly and accommodating. There was a great, organized amount of polish to choose from including regular polish, gel and the powder. We had our children with us ranging from ages 2-10 and the staff were very sweet about them being there. Granted our children are well behaved in public, but it made our experience much more comfortable. It was appreciated as its hard to get these services having children. We opted for classic pedicures which was sufficient for what we needed. As well as the manicures. All tools were sterilized and the pedicures tools were what looked like 1 time use, but still very effective. It's so open and very neat. Their furniture is very well spaced out compared to many salons I've stepped into. I got my much-needed pedicure done by Vicky. I am very upset with the way my pedicure came out. My cuticles were cut and bled and it hurts. You can see the blood around the nail. I pulled away a few times because it was cut so close and hurt. I have been here twice for a gel mani with Jenny. She wasn't here today so I saw the tech Tony. My experience was absolutely horrible!! He wasn't friendly, didn't say hello or anything. Not personable or even pretended to be friendly. I felt like I was at a shop in a mall. He NEVER put the a towel down before starting my nails. He used instruments that were NOT clean on me. The last two times I've been here, I seen Jenny pull the instruments from a sterile bag. (And when my mani was done, she took them away to be cleaned for the next guest) When I asked him if they were clean, he said "yes". But he got them from a basket under his station. (And then put them all back in the basket after my mani was done) He was extremely rough when he was removing my Gel from my previous visit. I had to pull my hand away twice because he was so rough. He never once apologized or even cared that he hurt me. He never put any cuticle oil on my nails after he was done (I swear that's a step for a manicure). Then to top it all off, when it was time for me to pay, he says $35. So I give him my card to charge $35, he turns the screen around and it says I'm being charged $38! I said "I thought you said $35, this says $38". This guy was shady from jump, so I looked at my online account and sure enough he had charged my card for $38. He still didn't apologize for the inconvenience of my card having $38 on hold with my bank!! The lady that came up to help said it will be refunded within 24-48hrs. And if it isn't they'd refund my money in cash. I had her put it in writing before I signed my correct charge of $35. I'm glad my inner instinct had me paying close attention. I definitely feel like he was trying to pull a fast one on me. You don't play with people's money like that. Very unprofessional!!!!! read more
