Worst nails I have gotten. Would have been even worse had I of not requested him to keep filing. I got my nails done by Tim who previously messed up on my nails but I thought maybe this time would be different. As shown, he was not filing my nail but my SKIN. I was flinching and said it hurt but he continued saying he was filing. He tried to say he was done and I clearly told him my nails were not straight because again he wasn't even filing the portion that needed to be filed. He tried to say it was my fingers were crooked not the nail like I'm sorry? How do you not see this. I eventually said it's fine I'll do it myself. I have added pictures of the poor job done. Also he couldn't see the hole in my nail where paint is missing either even though it's clearly there. He acted like he could see nothing wrong. This is the worst nail salon that I've ever been to. I do have to be honest and say that the women that work here are extremely friendly! However, I sat down, and I was being helped by one of the older women. She was really really old. I noticed that a few of my nails were crooked and that she was selecting my nails to put on from this little pile of used/cut nails. They didn't come out of the box. They look like they were cut before and just extras. Anyway, she started putting on the nails and she was gluing them to my skin. They were way too big for my nail bed. I asked her if she could use smaller nails, she Said she knows what she's doing. She was literally gluing the acrylic nail over my skin. It looks crazy. Then I told her that one of the nails was crooked, she said she will fix it. Then I went from her to another woman, the other woman was very very friendly. As soon as I sat down, I told her my concerns that before she put the acrylic on, I wanted her to please fix the crooked nail. She said she would. She thought that filing was going to fix it... It was extremely crooked. My cuticles started bleeding because she cut too much. She was asking me if I liked my nails, I said, no honestly, you're very nice, but this is one of the worst nail jobs I've ever had. My nails are crooked. I put my finger up to show her how crooked it was and she said it's because your finger does like this... She's really trying to tell me my finger was crooked. I couldn't believe her. I said this looks straight to you?? And she said yes it's your finger. as soon as I was ready to pay, she skipped the tip option because she knew that my nails look like trash. I really wanted to like this place because they are so incredibly friendly. But again this is the worst nail salon I've ever been to I would've not have written a review if the second lady would've at least taken accountability and said yes, this nail is crooked, it's the end of the day. Can you come back and make an appointment and I can fix it. I wouldn't have mind at all. What I don't respect and why am writing the review is because instead of acknowledging that the nails were crooked you're telling me my finger is crooked. Instead of charging me the full price, she charge me $45, which in my opinion was still completely overpriced. This nail job wasn't even worth $20. I was really upset. Well...went back for a fill with Cindy and wasn't as impressed or satisfied as the first time she did my nails. Last time I went was on a Sunday and me and my party were the last ones there. This time, I made a Saturday morning appointment (and happy that I called the day before and got in). Cindy was as sweet and friendly as before when I came in, but I think she wasn't quite focused on my nails because she was busy answering phones and making appointments at the same time, so she didn't pay close attention to detail. Shape wasn't as good or the same as my original, and she didn't even bother to ask what I wanted. Instead of a square with rounded edge, she did a sharp square. I did a neutral pink/beige and wanted sliver glitter on the ring fingers. She started to paint the color on my ring fingers and I said I wanted glitter on that one. So she proceeded to put the glitter (which wasn't even the glitter I chose) and of course, it didn't turn out how I expected it. When I asked her to fix it, she seemed a little annoyed with me and said she didn't know how to do it. First time to London Nails and I was very impressed. With Covid dictating social distancing and face make requirements, this salon has nailed it. Technicians are wearing masks, partitions are between you and your Tech and sanitizer if available for when you enter and leave. Very clean! Gloves are worn and bags are in basins and changed between customers. First time visiting after reading some mixed reviews. I'm a pretty simple and laid back person so I went in with an open mind. It's open early on Sunday, called to make an appointment and they were able to see me within 30 minutes. Tom was quiet but really good. He spent time on my nails (didn't feel rushed!) and made sure I was happy throughout the process. I got a Gel Mani($25) and Deluxe Pedi ($27). He double checked to make sure nails were even and looked good. The massages were short, but nice. The colors looked great and he made sure no bubbles or missed areas. I have been here two times. The first was for a pink and white full set. It was pretty good. I wanted to come back but never got around to it. The lady working on my nails did a really good job and was super nice! Their color selection is not that great though. The second time was today for a French pedicure. The chair was not very good. Maybe worn out and old? I don't think the boy working on me had any sort of formal training. I was horrified at him digging at my nail bed. I really hope I don't wake up with an infected toe. The whole pedicure took about 30 minutes. About 2 minutes of massaging and no scrubbing my feet. Also, my toes are uneven and the French manicure is the thickest white I have ever seen! I came around 3 on a Friday & they had a good amount of customers, so I suggest to call and make an appointment with Nancy! First of all, the older guy doing my pedi didn't let my feet soak at all and immediately started trimming my cuticles and was hurting me over and over finally I said something and he says "oh sorry" and continued to do it and I mean pain that was making me jump. I went in with such long nails because again I'm a new mom and my toes have been neglected, he cut them down so short (without asking) that it hurts to put pressure on them and they are horribly uneven. My "massage" was basically him rubbing my shin bone with his thumbs which also was not comfortable. And I'm not going to get into too much detail about my polish job but I left with polish on my skin and bubbles in my polish. So I asked if they give a discount for unsatisfied customers who have been hurt and have a horrible job done she said "no I fix for you" you cannot fix my nails being cut so short that it now hurts to put pressure on them and I'm sorry but I don't want any of you touching me again. Ten she asks how much I want to pay and the man who did my pedi was pissed and said no $20 so I handed him my $20 and left. Absolutely the worst manicure/ gel I've ever gotten. Wanted to get my nails done while in town and have the day off from work. The nail manicurist used an extremely hard file, cut me with the cuticle cutters, didn't even get half the cuticles off my nails ( thank goodness, he probably would have cut me more), decided to go with a clear gel because I know my gel manicure color would have come out uneven and noticeable. Honestly, not a complainer but this was BAD! Wonder if they all have board certified licenses. I have been going here for over 10 years. I took my family for a treat, $130 later... No wait $260 later! They double charge my card in error. I called early the next day when I realized what had happened and asked them to please reverse the extra charge. They told me I would have to wait until Monday when they could verify the receipts. I went down to the salon to show them my online banking receipt and have my bank tell them over speaker phone that it was charged (not pending-CHARGED) twice! They still refused to refund the second charge! Mind you, I have been a loyal costumer for well over 10 years! So now, this is in my banks hands and I will be finding a new salon with Integrity to do my nails.
