I am SO impressed with Antelope Nails. I was getting gas across the street and I noticed a nail place I'd never seen before and was on my way to another place down the road I wasn't really fond of but needed my nails filled bad. I walked in, and I was greeted immediately. Mary sat me down right away, and suggested I try gel ( I always say no ) but she offered not to charge the extra for removing my old set of acrylics I had done in Vegas weeks ago that weren't holding up so well. I said why not, and did the gel, and she mentioned this new chrome thing she had and added it to the list! Long story short, I've never been so in love with my acrylics and pedicure, and just a nail salon in general, they were friendly, efficient, thoughtful and it's wonderfully priced. Made an appointment yesterday for 10 o'clock for 3 people, we showed up at 10 o'clock... Only one worker was there. We waited until about 10:15 when another person walked in and was told to have a seat. We let her go first because a person in our party was getting her nails done, but was still waiting for Mary to arrive, we didn't want to be done way before her and waiting. I sat in the massage chair for a little over an hour until my feet were touched. Overall, my feet are soft... Some parts of my toe nails aren't covered, but my sister's acrylics turned out beautiful. It's very unorganized. We spent 2 1/2 hours in the salon, thankfully in the massage chair and thankfully didn't have any plans for a time constraint... But still, an appointment is made for 3 people at 10 o'clock, don't have just one person there. Especially because of the possibility of other walk-ins. read more

DO NOT COME HERE. The lady's were sweet about everything but the nails did not eat. As they went on, it just got worst and wanted to cry. My nails were burning as they kept hurting my skin around my nails with their filing machine. Not only did it hurt but the final results were so ugly the nail polish Was messy And nails were uneven which was very upsetting. I walked in on Saturday after work because I did not have an appointment. They told me that it would be 20-30 mins wait and went ahead pick my color. However, they called me after 15 mins or so. 3 stars because I get my pedicures here and I ended up getting Fiberglass nails for the first time. I would rate that a 2 stars because my "coffin" shaped nails ended up crooked and uneven. Not sure if it was due to her being tired, lazy ect but I am OCD about those things and I can't stop looking at it now. One side is almost completely straight while the other side is curved over way too much. The pedicures are decent for $22 but make sure if you like your nails a certain way you tell them! read more

When I got home from work last night, one of my acrylics broke. It was 6:30, and every nail salon I called said they couldn't do a fill/ nail fix for me because it was too late. I called Antelope Nails and Mary said she would wait for me. She stayed well after their 7:00 closing time until 7:40 to accommodate me, and did not rush through it at all. One thing I really appreciated was when she put a new tip on my broken nail, she cut the nail down and realized it wasn't going to be long enough, so she removed the tip and glued on a new one. Usually, every manicurist I've been to will just keep working as to not waste supplies or spend extra time fixing it. I really appreciated her desire to make it right. My nails came out great, and I enjoyed chatting with Mary during my fill. Her husband waited patiently as she finished (they both wanted to go home Im sure!). They were both very kind and I will be returning here for my next fill (I'll just make sure to come earlier, because I felt like such a jerk making them stay after closing for my nail emergency lol). read more

I think the others are right, you HAVE to have a lot of patience to like this place & I just don't. I'm always on the go, I have a really busy schedule & when I make an appointment at 6, I expect to be seen at 6, not 6:45 or 6:30, which has happened a lot. Mary is super sweet, the prices are really good, but I won't be going here anymore because I just do not have the time to wait when I have an appointment. I also find that when I get my nails done here, they're done so thin that they crack & break really easily. She always offers to fix them for free & apologizes, but it's just that I don't have time to stop by every couple days to get them repaired. Mary and her husband run the salon and they have other manicurists too. They always treat me like I'm important and finish my gel nails and pedicure in a timely manner. I won't go back. This place is very very dirty. I didn't realize exactly how gross it was until they actually started my pedicure. I didn't see them taking tools from sterile containers and she got her gloves from a dirty filing cabinet. The woman was nice but kept coughing on me and would just set tools down onto dirty surfaces and then reuse them. If I get infections I'm going to be pissed! Also, I I went to pay with a credit card and the guy runs my card, gives it back and says "no money" - um, huh? So, I said "you don't take Amex? Ok, here's another card." He runs that one and it comes back bad...I know damn well it's fine. By this time I'm kinda embarrassed and irritated and then the woman realizes there's something wrong with the phone line. I'm always looking for the best pedi in town and I think I found it here with Mary. She definitely tries her hardest to treat you like her only customer and give you and "your heels" the attention they deserve. It might get a little busy some times but I have never felt like she or the other workers rush through your service because of the line waiting. From what I understand this is a family run business and they have been around for many many years.... And I believe it's due to her strong customer service that this business is holding strong with so many other nail places popping up all around them. They were very nice and patient! But! My technician was EXTREMELY hard to understand. I couldn't really communicate with her at all. I would say I got what I paid for, for my simple acrylic set. My nails were all shaped a little different. The nail polish was sloppily put on. She made me bleed on 3 different fingers. It was not the best experience. Don't recommend and will not go back... I went here on a whim and when I walked in I knew I should have walked out. The colors on the wall were eh, the basic paintings hanging (barely), but oh did they greet immediately! Friendly but overall not worth the two hour wait in a barely functional chair for them to continuously tell me I'm next I'm next... Of course making an appointment is nice but so is just tell your customers it's going to be two hours, so go do something else with your time and come back. I go every two weeks for gel polish and am happy each and every time. And, when I experience the occasional nail break, Mary always finds a way to work me into her schedule. I went here to get Gel Nails. I still had my gel nails on from my last salon. Mary soaked them in acetone to get them off (which is the correct way to do it) but when that wasn't going fast enough she brought out her electic file and filed the rest of the gel off. Her husband then put on the new gel nails. 2 days later my nails started breaking because she filed them to thin! It took me a long time to grow my nails out to the point where they looked good, now I have to start over. I won't be going back here agian. read more

Antelope Nails is the worst place to get your nails done, they have the worst customer service ever. You pay for the service but you get shitty job done. Mary will do your nails real fast and not up to par and if you point out the mistake she gets loud and defensive with you...and claims she will refund your money but never refunds anything but in return talks in her language like I dont know what she is saying. Do the nails the right way the first time and you wont have any complaints. But if you go to her to get a nail fixed because the acrylic came off she tells you sorry i cant do your nails anymore because you complain to much... So if you want to go here and put your money down the drain then go because at the end you will regret it because they do what they want on your cost and rarely understand your wants. Mary is good at giving you the guilt trip so I say find a nail place who understand you and love to make their customers happy instead of filling their pockets. The ladies in here are very nice, they talk to you while you're there and don't make you feel like they're talking about you when they are talking to each other. Thats why they get 3 stars, they're customer service is on par. That being said, I went in for a full set of acrylics, no appointment but they seated me right away. My nails were thick and un even. I had gel polish put on, it was pretty from far away but looking up close you could clearly see the undercoat that did not get covered well by the glitter coat on the sides of my nails. The bed of my nails (where it meets the cuticle) was ridiculously thick, much thicker than the rest of my nails, almost like she was too afraid to use the dremmel at the nail bed. There were thick globs of acrylic under my nail tips. I've only been here once, and only for the acrylics. I wasn't very happy but did not want to be rude, so I went to a different salon for my fill. I would be willing to give them another shot for a pedicure, mainly because of how nice they were. I most certainly will never have my hands touched at this place again though. read more

They have the most wondeful massage chairs that really get into the muscles and the new jelly pedi is to die for. It makes your feet so smooth and soft.
