You failed to mention that your staff was unprofessional, took an hour and a half for a simple soak off, and literally made my fingers bleed without a single apology. I always book an appt anytime I go for my nails. They never take me at the time of my appointment and then they don't offer anything for your time. I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time once before and still charged for every little thing. Then today I book an appt and I get there and my tech has just started someone else. I understand being busy but appts should be checked before starting something new, or notify the appts that you won't be started at your appt time. I work a lot and don't have a ton of free time so the lack of respect for my time is super inconsiderate especially with how much I pay every time, and recommend other people to the business, which I just did recently and now my sister has been going there. **UPDATE** in response to the below comment... that information is actually not accurate at all and actually makes it look like you are making excuses for it. Yes I arrived at 11:39 (early for my 11:45 appt) when I asked the front desk guy if my tech, who I visibly saw with my own eyes working actively on a client in the very beginning phase of a nail job, would be finished soon as my appt was at 11:45, he responded with a defensive "we are down 4 techs today" when I asked this I looked at the time at it was 11:45 exactly. I was not able to sit there for an hour as stated previously I have one day off and had other things to do. I'm not asking for special treatment, this is usually standard for an appointment. The front guy didn't even try to find out how long I would have to wait or if he would be finishing up soon (probably not considering I could see him clearly) so everything the business owner replied is actually not at all true and I don't appreciate the gaslighting. read more

I had Hannah and she was amazing. I got a complimentary drink, and I showed her the picture of what I wanted. When I called they told us it was $65 but when we got there I paid $75 for a full set. I'm used to paying $45 for the same nails without the glitter line, so it's a bit pricey for me but i definitely think these are my favorite nails by far. She freehanded both the french tips and the silver like and they look so cute! I got them for my first homecoming and I got a few compliments on them. Definitely will be coming back. Mimi did my pedicure. She was amazing. I just had a hip replacement a few months ago and I have a lot of muscle pain in my leg and foot. She took the time to massage oh my nuts in the muscles and put out along with a beautiful job on my polish and added something called cat eye, which really gave the color depth it turned out beautiful. I live 2 1/2 hours away from here in Nevada and had experienced this salon five years ago and returned with my Sister because the experience was unbeatable. I would recommend this salon to anyone he can't be beat. I also wish to mention that the owner Calvin rents a beautiful clean business and cares a lot about his patrons. Ive been to Venice before and had great experiences....This last time however was such a negative experience that I wont be back. The technician used tools marked "soiled" that were visibly dirty. Thats how people get infections.....I received a gel-x manicure and 4 of the nails have fallen off in about a week.... the glamnetic nail glue holds on better and I paid $85! Save the hassle and go to VIP. The girl who took over the appointment from the original tech was super sweet though and is the only reason I'm giving more than one star read more

Worst salon experience of my life. I will not be returning and am quite upset. My nail tech was super rough and distracted looking all around the room. I was worried they would make a mistake. Then they coughed without covering twice (no mask) and basically in my face - they did not say anything like sorry or excuse me. Then the nail tech left halfway through my set and another person took over - without any communication whatsoever. The new tech dropped all their supplies and it took about 5 minutes to get everything up. The service was incredibly slow. It took an hour and 40 minutes for a full set (very simple), and I didn't even get the final color service I wanted. After an hour and 40 minutes, I left after the base coat. Additionally, there is rarely anyone at the front counter to check you out, so people have to wait a long time just to pay and leave. The salon looks really nice and clean, but the service is a problem. read more

I used to love coming here, up until recently I've been coming here since it opened. I came in May 2 for a pedi. The nail tech Lily pushed me to get the parrafin option which is $100. No big deal. I get gel added also. About a week n a half goes by & the gel flakes off of one of my big toes. No big deal I'll just have them fix it. I call to arrange the appointment and was told they don't cover free maintenance after 7 days. I understand it may be in their policy not to cover, but after paying almost $130 I believe they could have fixed my big toe nail polish, and should have. My nail tech, Tiffany, informed me that there would be an additional charge to remove the existing gel polish to which I agreed. She was not able to remove all of the gel polish and proceeded to apply new polish on top of the remaining bits and pieces of gel. The color application was poorly done, uneven, and messy. The nails look sloppy, with little attention to detail. I paid almost $80 for this pedicure with regular polish. I would not recommend based on my experience. read more

Venice Nail Studio has a unique, upscale feel with its Italian-themed decor and relaxed vibe. Most of the nail technicians are men, which is actually quite unique, and many are detail oriented and friendly. I also found that the male techs don't talk much during the service, which actually makes the experience feel more peaceful and relaxing. The complimentary drinks are a nice extra. However, for the high prices they charge significantly more than other salons in the area the overall experience doesn't quite measure up. I critique nail salons not only on service quality but also on cleanliness and atmosphere. In that regard, the floors and chairs often feel less clean than they should be, which really undercuts the premium image they're going for. The salon looks stylish at first glance, but the overall upkeep needs improvement. When you're paying top-tier prices, expectations are naturally higher--and unfortunately, the environment doesn't always deliver at that level. I also wish more salons would consider slightly lowering service prices so clients can comfortably tip more generously to the technicians, who often do the hardest work. I truly wish them success and hope they'll take this feedback into consideration to make a few meaningful improvements. read more
