My wife went in new years eve as a moment to unwind from the craziness we all have been enduring to get her nails done and took off her wedding ring. she set it in a paper towel and then forgot it -as she was the last appointment of the night she wasn't able to go back until opening. Since it was wrapped in a paper towel (and looked like trash) it was discarded. She was devastated. The Staff was Empathetic and understanding and all genuinely concerned. I stopped in to get some St. Patrick's Day Nails, appointment booked with nail artist Lema. She used Christine Lamb Fairy Cat Eye #17 on Gel-X almond shaped nails. I usually have a bad experience with nail techs and nails salons, so I don't expect a lot. This is my first time going to a nail salon since switching to nail techs and I can see why I switched in the first place. I asked for red coffin nails and they gave me random shaped nails which aren't even the same shape. Not to mention, the guy was super rough when he was doing my nails. My pinky on the left is bruised and you can see in the picture that it's red. Again, I wouldn't mind if it was cheap but $60 for this is insane. read more

The inside is beautiful and relaxing and I even got a complementary mimosa and my friend got a red wine!! The guy at the front desk was very pleasant, and my friend had Henry as her nail specialist who was also great! The staff here are very kind, which is honestly the only positive thing I can say about my experiences. Unfortunately, this is my second visit, and both times I had an appointment but still ended up waiting because they didn't have enough staff available. The first time, the wait wasn't too bad, but my Gel X set took over two hours, even though the design was very simple. It also seemed like the technician may not have had much experience with Gel X, which resulted in the nails being not great. During my second visit, we waited about 45 minutes past our scheduled appointment time before being seated. Once we finally got started with our pedicures, the water in the tubs was cold and had to be reheated, which added another 15 minutes of waiting. I really wanted to like this place but I won't be returning. read more

Venice Nail Studio has a unique, upscale feel with its Italian-themed decor and relaxed vibe. Most of the nail technicians are men, which is actually quite unique, and many are detail oriented and friendly. I also found that the male techs don't talk much during the service, which actually makes the experience feel more peaceful and relaxing. The complimentary drinks are a nice extra. However, for the high prices they charge significantly more than other salons in the area the overall experience doesn't quite measure up. I critique nail salons not only on service quality but also on cleanliness and atmosphere. In that regard, the floors and chairs often feel less clean than they should be, which really undercuts the premium image they're going for. The salon looks stylish at first glance, but the overall upkeep needs improvement. When you're paying top-tier prices, expectations are naturally higher--and unfortunately, the environment doesn't always deliver at that level. I also wish more salons would consider slightly lowering service prices so clients can comfortably tip more generously to the technicians, who often do the hardest work. I truly wish them success and hope they'll take this feedback into consideration to make a few meaningful improvements. read more

Came here last minute! Asked for Leon based on some reviews and I was able to see him within 2 hours of calling! Upon arrival, everyone was super sweet asking me if I wanted anything to drink etc. Leon was running about 10 min late but came and personally told me that which I really appreciated! very terrible service! they really don't know what customer service is, and how to do nails. I got my nails done Monday & Wednesday it chipped. Keep in mind it's hard gel. So I went back to get it fixed again, it chips again in couple days. So i gave them a call to get a refund, they assume I'm lying. They blame it on me and my "work". Very disappointed. They said no refunds, and hung up the phone. I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Save your money and go to someone that can actually make you happy and do your nails really good! read more

I was disappointed with my experience. The pedicure menu both in the salon and on their website listed a mud mask wrap, but it was never done. When I asked about it, I was told they need to remove it from the menu, which does not justify charging for a service that wasn't provided. Massage time was inconsistent. My sister received about 5 minutes, while mine was closer to 3 minutes. There was no timer, and my technician barely massaged, mostly just light touching. I also clearly declined gel polish because I did not want UV exposure, yet I was repeatedly pressured, at least 10 times, to get it anyway, which was uncomfortable and unprofessional. No partial refund or adjustment was offered for the missing mud mask. Due to the lack of transparency, consistency, and respect for customer preferences, I will not be returning. read more
