Got my toes done here 2 weeks ago by Nancy. Had a nice pedi service and everything went well. Went home and took a closer look at my toes and saw that majority of my smaller toes weren't even painted all the way to the sides. At first glance from afar it looks nice and clean. But took a closer look and the sides aren't painted. $15 extra for gel to be 3/4 painted and it was a solid color. I didn't like sitting in the pedi chair for my mani because I had to reach my arm across my body the whole time for the tech to do my nails. The second time I just got a mani, gel x. I've been here before when it was called Posh, and now that it's Foxe it's just as amazing, maybe even better. The salon is spotless, beautifully updated, and has such a calm, relaxing atmosphere. I called ahead and spoke with Nikki, who was so sweet and welcoming. When I arrived, they offered me a drink from their menu, and the Vietnamese coffee was such a nice touch while getting pampered. Tina did my French tip pedicure, which came out to $69, and she was incredibly gentle but very detailed and thorough, especially with the deep cleaning around my cuticles. You can tell they truly care about their clients and take pride in their work. The entire experience felt professional, relaxing, and thoughtful from start to finish. UPDATE: Thank you for your response. I did appreciate that you repaired my nails at no charge, and I mentioned that in my original review. However, my concern was never about your repair policy. It was about the quality of the work. Four nails chipped within just a few days of my original appointment, and after the repair, my left thumb still wasn't fully covered and the French tip was noticeably thicker than the others. Those issues are what ultimately led to my review. As for feeling uncomfortable during my repair appointment, I understand you may not agree with my perception, and I appreciate your response. My intention wasn't to accuse anyone of speaking about me as a fact, but simply to share how the experience made me feel. I truly think your salon creates beautiful nail designs, which is why this was so disappointing. I simply hoped for more consistency in the workmanship and attention to detail. Original: I really wanted to love this salon because the nail designs are beautiful. Unfortunately, I've had two disappointing experiences. The first time, four of my nails chipped within just a couple of days. Although I wasn't able to come back for almost two weeks, I appreciated that they fixed them at no charge. Unfortunately, the repair wasn't much better. My left thumb wasn't fully covered, and in natural light, you can clearly see where the polish or top coat is missing. During the second repair appointment, the French tip on the repaired nail was also made much thicker than the rest, so it no longer matches the other nails. I also felt uncomfortable during my repair appointment because it seemed like the staff were talking about me. I could be mistaken, but it definitely made the experience feel awkward. I truly think they do beautiful work, but I wish there were more attention to detail before clients leave.
