The girl that seems to be "running" the place was so rude and had a stank ass attitude with everyone she spoke to. The pedicure wasn't even a "basic" pedicure and it was $30?! The girl doing the pedis didn't speak one word or even ask which pedicure I wanted. When it was time to pay..they said cash only, but never mentioned that when we made the appointment or when we got there. I'll drive to Brookings or Eureka before I go back there! read more

Should be 0 stars they are so wack! Don't waste your time! better off going to the cosmetology schools to get it done.

I only get my eyebrows waxed done here. I can't speak for the nail service as I never had them done here. I have been coming to Annie for my eyebrows for years. She is high in demand so sometimes the wait is a Lil much. But she's worth it. She does your wax like all salons. However she also trims, plucks up what the wax didn't. Really really takes her time. She listens to you and doesn't just do what she thinks looks good, although I think she knows her stuff! I know it's not the best looking place inside and out. But they are currently upgrading the spa chairs and have even brought in the kids spa chairs (love this!) Give her a try for your eyebrows! read more

Called yesterday morning an was able to schedule a same day apt for 2pm not sure if it was just pure luck or not but even so if I had to wait a week I would have lol. I've had this screen shot in my phone for months now waiting to find someone who can do it, I also have been wanting the coffin tips and for the first time in a year of getting coffin tips someone finially was able to get it exact! This is deff a go to place if you like your nails a specific way and if you love art the husband and wife team (Jimmy and Amy) here are amazing at what they do I can't wait to come back. read more

Just got back from getting my full set done. Definitely will not be returning. I came here during my lunch hour thinking I could get away with having a new tech do the same job as Danny at Angie's nails. Well, I was wrong. The nail tech's name was Amy and she was extremely rough with my nails that I didn't know how much longer I could take it, even after I asked her to be more gentle. I asked for the coffin shape not knowing that she would file instead of clip it into that shape (what my usual nail tech does). So that took forever! Anyways, I was an hour late to work and the color on my pinkie completely peeled off by the time I got back. Thankfully, Danny is able to come through and fix this mess for me. read more

Only get your nails done by Annie She knows what she's doing! I had another girl (older lady with short hair) do my nails and she actually made my left thumb nail bleed To top it off she couldn't do the shape I wanted Like I said, go to Annie and ONLY Annie for your set. Her coffin shape is on point and (excuse the pun) to die for read more

I will start this review by saying I have been going to Jimmy at Pro Nails for 7 years + . However, this partnership has had to come to an end. Jimmy has always been very accommodating but the past couple times I have been to him he has been very rude to not only me but to people that I have referred him too. He has rushed my time slot and asked if I had a "simple" nail design because he had an appointment in an hour ( had an appointment scheduled for 10 a.m). He also has 3 large dogs that he lets just run rapid in the salon. I am so disappointed that I have to now look elsewhere to get my nails done it's sad that Talent was overshadowed by his attitude and lack of customer service . read more

This place is really family oriented, I really appreciate that. Much like I appreciate hole-in-the-wall restaurants that serve authentic home made meals. I'd easily say this is much nicer than a hole-in-the-wall, but they definitely give 5 star nail service. Fast, clean, friendly, family-oriented and to my surprise, fully equipped with the nail gems I requested. I LOVE MY NAILS!!!! I can't stop admiring them lol makes me not want to touch or do SH*T bc they're so pretty!!!! Thank you! read more

I'm so beyond irritated RN, I called time after time on Sunday to get my eye brows done no answer(it was working then). So I pull up and the sign and lights are off at the hours they say they are open. Then I return today around 1pm to get my eye brows done Jimmy says Anne isnt here shell be here around 4 or 5 I come in at 5:20 shes in the middle of a pedicure I asked if she could do me today she says no, I say ok well when. She just looks at me then I say well I tried to call before I came but the phone didnt work. Then Jimmy says oh well our phone is broken and I dont know when we will fix it, at this point I feel like they are Full of s*** and I will not return to this salon I only came for they eyebrows because I've gotten my nails done here and I pretty much paid way too much for what was done. read more

It isn't as good as I remember. The girl didn't seem to like she wanted to be there and might be the worst pedi I ever got. I had to ask for clear coat.... WTH!? It's like asking for PB with a Jelly sammie. Not going back, sorry Jimmy. read more

Hole in the wall that I hope no one ever finds cause that would mean a longer waiting period for me. Jimmy was very attentive throughout the whole process. His attention to detail is what divides him from other nail techs as well as his infectious laughter. His wife Amy is amazing with nail decorations! She too has the same attention to detail! I highly recommend these two here at pro nails. I live out of state but will always come back when in town as well as suggest them to my friends who live nearby !! read more

Jimmy and Amy are the best team. Jimmy spends his time to make sure the nails are right! He doesn't try to get you out the door as fast as possible. Also has a great personality! The nails are a little bulky, ask for thinner nails! Amy is a whizz at designs. If you see a picture of nails you like save it and show it to her. She will be able to do it.! read more

Just dropped by. It's a Saturday at 11 am and they were not open when their hours on their door said they should have been. Also just a tip, On yelp it has their address as 6149 but on their door it's 6145. As I waited for 5 minutes looking for a new nail salon, saw a couple walk up to the place. Saw that they were closed and walked away. Losing business. Not looking good for them. Probably an emergency or something but there could have been a note of some sort posted. Left and went elsewhere. read more

I was very happy with my nails. I recently moved here from NC and needed a nail place that not only did a good job ,but had talent and skill in designs. Guys I'm new to the area so I've been going to a new nail shop every 2 weeks because I haven't been able to find a good nail tech. I walked in and was seated immediately. Jimmy took one look and said what shape is that supposed to be? He was like don't worry I'll fix it. He hooked my nails up! One thing I learned when you find a good nail tech is be faithful and tip them well. I'll go where ever you are Jimmy you're amazing. BTW I'm super picky but Jimmy was so detailed and very careful. Very Rude and refused my service for no reason and I also called ahead, Dont bother clearly a race issue.

Cockroaches, they don't use bags for pedicure bath, and they use a dreamer instead of pushing the cuticles back.

I used to come here in high school (many years ago) and they did a good job, and I was in the area so I decided to stop in (not my usual salon). HORRIBLE mistake. so I made an appointment for a fullest yesterday(10/2/14) as a first time client. I walk in and didn't get greeted til about three or four minutes later. I told the woman that I had an appointment at 11 with jimmy. she tells me "ok. go pick a color." I look to find the color I wanted. I saw jimmy finishing up with a client. after half an hour, I'm still waiting in s chair by the door, and jimmy had started on a new client.! I wait a little longer to see if he'll eventually call me over, but no. I wasn't acknowledged. I get up and say, " I'm good. thank you." the lady says, "oh" with a confused face. that's when I say "my appointment was at 11. I've been here patiently waiting for almost 45 min" while everybody is looking at me. no one apologized. so I walked out. I'm so appalled by the horrible customer service. if I could give zero stars, I would. read more

The JImmy has a bad attitude, I heard he did good nails. So I went in and pointed to him, politly asking him to do it. He shouts NO!! I'm busy.. I'm like ok.. I'll never ask him again.Beautiful designs but can't get my nails shaped right. Got a pedi and the lady was digging so deep in my toes with that tool. It was painfull and annoying. They also need to work on their sanitation and upkeep. After my pedi she just rinsed the tub out with cold water. Yuck! wish I would have saw that before. But they design are good.I'd for sure go back for those. read more
