I've recently been going here for a while now, and I LOVE it!! The salon is neatly organized and not too loud. Their prices are pretty affordable, and the staff cares a lot about their customers. I recommended this place to my mom, and she got a French manicure, and she loved it! Needing a pedicure and wanting some sparkly toenails for Pride, my friend and I drove over to Nails 21. It has new ownership since I'd been there last and what a wonderful improvement! The place was clean and bright, with welcoming staff. We were greeted immediately and guided to our chairs pretty quickly. At first, I wondered how business was considering we were taken back so quickly. However, they had a steady stream of people coming in and had ample people to manage the business well. My friend is a regular here and Carmen took amazing care of her. Since we wanted a different color for each toe, Carmen listened in and helped us pick our colors. No WiFi in here and they seemed to double book people so they were racing back and forth between one woman and myself frantically.

While some of the techs here are very talented it's time to find a salon that's more respectful and courteous to customers. I came in for a fill on my gel manicure and the manager told me there's no such thing, there's only dip and therefore I would only get dip and would have to pay for the higher priced service. Every time I pay, they announce to the entire salon what I've tipped. I don't know if it's real or sarcasm, but there's always this weird, exaggerated scene that they put on. Today, the tech forgot that he was supposed to do a design on my nails. This is the last opportunity they'll get to disturb the central part of my self-care routine. Enough is enough. read more

I'm from Tennessee and let me be frank, the nail techs out there are . Can never do any of the designs I want and they always come out chunky. I was hoping to find a gem of a nail tech here on the West Coast and let me tell y'all, I sure as hell did!! Called and asked if anyone can do intricate nail art for acrylic full set acrylic and also if they do walk ins. They sounded very confident on the phone, no hesitation and said to come on in, they do walk ins too. I was immediately greeted when I walked in, such a cute salon I love their aesthetic. Wish I took pics of the salon itself. Located close to Trader Joe's and very easy to find. Andy and another lady (forgot her name but she was super sweet) helped me choose exactly what I wanted from the 10 Pinterest photos I brought lol. Definitely have some awesome nail techs here. Had great conversations with everyone and felt very welcomed. This is for sure my go to spot. Deadass will be traveling from TN to get my next set. They also were very inclusive during the process, always checking in to see if this is the right shade/color...if I liked the design. Andi was my nail tech, he made sure I left happy! He's the type of person to make sure you feel like it's a luxurious experience not just getting your nails done. He took his time and you can tell he loves what he does and takes pride in his work. What I loved most is that they didn't treat me like a walk-in, everyone made it feel like home. I was able to gossip and by the end of the session I was literally walking around to everyone in the salon showing off my new set. Never have I ever been treated so well at a nail salon. It's the end of the day and everybody is still upbeat, kind and relaxed. They make an effort to remember people as they meet them! I've observed this each time I've come in. It takes a lot for me to get upset. I mean A LOT. I am a very patient very understanding person. I came here last month, they sat me down and I wait an hour and a half until they actually got to me. Today I decided to give them another chance. I almost walked out in tears. They're so rush, they work in between different clients so it didn't feel clean. It was a rushed unprofessional vibe. The customer service is the worst. They have 3 employees and welcome everyone that walks in. Which is fine! But if you're gonna make people wait an hour + turn them down? Against my better judgment, I stopped in to get a quick color change since I happened to be going to Trader Joe's anyway. During the color change, which took 40 minutes!!!the nail technician rushed through the process, had to change the polish on my big right toe twice, then change the polish on my left big toe four times! While he was changing the polish, he would BLOW on my toes to dry them. BLOW on them! I left with polish on the skin of my toes, pieces of cotton sticking out from the polish on my toes, and an overall horrible paint job. Needless to say, I will be asking my 11-year-old daughter to do a polish change tomorrow as I am sure she will do a much better job than this place. read more

Went here this morning for a pedicure and the older woman with short hair was harsh and rude. We came for a peaceful time; however, that was not the case. We asked how to use the chair for a massage as it seemed glitchy and she was annoyed. I've been coming here for 18 year; however, with new ownership the place is dirty. The side tables to put your purse are filthy!!!! No one wipes them down. Think of the bacteria. I've come here for years and always give an excellent tip, but now I will go elsewhere. I saw that this new nail salon had opened a few weeks ago and thought I'd give it a try today-which I'm glad we did! We were promptly greeted by friendly staff and offered refreshments. The owners are kind, attentive, funny, thoughtful, and outgoing. The staff provide their guests with lots of TLC and make sure they're happy with the service. The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting with pretty fixtures, comfy chairs, good music, three TVs, and good conversations amongst guests and staff. Despite the amount of walk-ins that came in behind us, the staff didn't make us feel like a number or rush us to get out of the salon. C was amazing and gave the best foot/leg massage I didn't know I needed. It was also really nice to see that the salon had already established regulars that brought goodies for them which says a lot to me about how they make people feel. Nice place and they did a good job. However there are a couple things to mention. First the pricing, $45 for basic gel nail polish. That's a lot higher than most salons. Also, pedicure pricing: if you want to get any upgraded pedicure from just the basic pedicure, the pricing jumps steeply. I've gone here twice, both time with pre scheduled appointments. The first time I waited 20 min before being helped, and the second time after waiting 20 minutes with no one in the salon to take my appointment and no communication as to what was happening, besides the girl checking me in, I ended up leaving. read more
