I have now been here 3 times and have been pleased. They aren't unfriendly, just a little shy and low-key. I had a beautiful pedicure by Kris before my trip and clumsily smudged them at home before they were fully dry. I returned to the salon without an appointment the next day fully prepared to pay to have them repainted. Kris took me right away and redid them gratis! I was so surprised by this kind gesture. Wanted to love this place, but not my fave. Pros- Price is good, about average Place looked clean. Staff was friendly offered a small Bottle of water and had an assortment of chips and candy. Cons- my polish was already ruined upon walking to my car. I also got the deluxe spa pedicure but didn't get the warm neck pillow as advertised. This was the second time I tried this place and I was not very pleased. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt since I only asked for a manicure/pedicure with regular polish this time. I had dip on my hands and gel on my toes, so I knew I would get an extra fee for removal of those - as most places do charge extra for that. The service was not bad and I enjoyed the ambiance as the massage chair was relaxing, but when I sat for my manicure, I was shocked. She started by digging a tool under my dip manicure which I repeated multiple times that it hurting me. She switched tools for a bit but then dug that tool under my nails again to take off the manicure. The worst of it was after she cut my cuticle and I was bleeding, she utilized a USED orange file to go over my bloody nail/cuticle and proceeded to put the same orange file away with her other tools!! As I went to pay, I was charged $36 for my pedicure and $27 for my manicure. They had a promotion going on for 10% off and when I mentioned this at checkout, she just repeated that I owed $64 (extra $1 for card fee). They did not apply the 10% discount despite my mention of this promotion that they text me they had going on. The only reason they are getting 2 stars is because my pedicure was great. read more
