I actually live in Elk Grove and still make the drive because the quality and experience are that good. I called ahead to get both and mani and pedi. While doing my manicure they were kind and I got the color I wanted but I wasn't really pleased with the fact that they looked lifted. I tried to brush it off and continued with my pedicure and they were rushing to get them done. I had to ask if they could clean around my toenails since it looked messy as there were streaks of polish everywhere. The next day I called since I wasn't satisfied with my manicure to see if I could just get some of them fixed and they were upset which I can understand since I'm asking them to fix their work. They were clearly bothered and were giving me attitude. They made it obvious they were talking about me when speaking Vietnamese since they kept on looking at me and coming over to look at my nails. I came here with my mom around the July 4th holiday. My mom had called in to make an appointment for us both to get new acrylic sets, but when we got there, we still had to wait a little while to get seated and set up. The place was quite small and busy, so I can understand, but we definitely still waited quite a bit to get started even though we had an appointment. I can't remember who did my nails, but I asked for an oval acrylic with designs on 4 fingers total. The designs were well done, but the acrylics themselves were sooooo thick. She was definitely rushing quite a bit. I got them taken off yesterday at my normal nail lady, and she literally asked me where I went and why they looked like that. I think overall, everyone was very nice and my mom's nail looked amazing. I loved the design on my nails, but if I go back, I prefer to not have my nails rushed through. Everyone who works here does an amazing job; the pedicures are AMAZING the polish always comes out perfect and the massage is so soothing. I usually go for acrylic full sets and Kim does a fantastic job, my nails always come out the way I want and they do not hesitate to change something if you decide you don't like it. They're very flexible with walk-ins and they stick to their appointments too! I have visited many salons but this is by far the best one I've been to in regard to both quality and price. My nail artist was Linda and she did hand painted cute neon lemon nails that were pretty close to the picture I showed her, were even and she took her time. I would return to try more of their services and all in all was pretty happy with the service I received, they did charge me $20 for a tip instead of 20% I stated, but they happily gave me the correct change. It was my fist time visiting Spring nails in Citrus Heights. The salon was easy to find and parking was very easy to find, this was on A Monday at 3:30pm. Susan was so amazing. Overall, I'd give Lena a 6/10. It seemed pretty rushed and I was cut a few times with the nail saw tool which made me naturally pull my hand from her a few times. I asked for square-coffin and received coffin, a few nails are supposed to be an ombré but they are poorly transitioned and bc there's an extra layer of acrylic placed to blend the colors for an ombré effect, they are thicker than the other nails (nude). Lena is good at shaping regular nails. The nude nails turned out decent, but as far as her skill with design, in my case the ombré nails, I think I wasted my money. I kindly mentioned to her how they were a bit thicker than the nude ones and she just said they'd break if it's too thin and used the nail buffer on them for a few seconds to seem like she was listening to what I wanted. On two of my nails, there must've been dust at the time they were cured on there bc when I run my finger over it, there's a small bump on the nails. The painting was definitely rushed. For a $55 set, these should've been better. read more
