They have the most comfortable chairs (I'm 300+lbs so that is a big deal to me) and it is so quite and calm with some hip music that fits everyone's taste in music. Very positive experience here! I had my regular polish damaged post-appointment (over night while sleeping:/) and they were very kind and accommodating in repairing my nails the day after! I ended up bringing my own polish for the repair and that was no issue which I really appreciated. Very pleased with my pedicure and overall service at this establishment. Clean and fun ambiance. Affordable price point as well. Due to my experience I believe that the regular polish may take more than a few hours to fully dry. Only giving them one star because the nail tech agreed to correct the nails with bubbles after showing her several times. This was my first time that I had to explain multiple times why I don't like the way my nail was done and they had bubbles. Will attach the pictures here. After 4 times of asking and showing them the picture with bubble finally the tech accepted to fix it. I felt like she was pretending to not understanding me or saying it is just how my nails is. This is not the first time getting my nails done I know the bubbles are because how you applied the nail polish honey. I used to go to a place in San Jose and they were very detailed oriented and professional. Since I moved here and this placed had a good reviewed I gave them a try. I would not recommend this place to anybody unless you want to be treated poorly and unprofessionally. The receptionist also was very rude. I didn't get her name, she had an attitude, made me wait a long time at the register before taking me in(I had an appointment) and with being 9months pregnant it does not feel comfortable standing and waiting for someone to help you out. I speak with my money and I would not give my business to them at all. Save your time and go somewhere else. Overall one of the worst experiences I had with a nail salon. read more

I've been coming here for about two years and have always been really particular about my nails, so finding a tech I trusted was a big deal. Up until recently, I consistently had good experiences, which makes this situation even more disappointing. At my last appointment, I chose a mauve-blue shade--something a little outside my usual. As soon as my nails were being done, I mentioned multiple times that the color looked much brighter and more vibrant than the display. I expressed that I wasn't sure it was the right shade, but my tech reassured me that lighting can affect how the samples look and that it was the correct color. Once the service was finished, it was very clear the color was not what I selected. I compared it directly to the display, and even my tech agreed it was different. It turned out the display was incorrect, and they actually didn't have the color I originally chose. While I understand mistakes happen, I ended up leaving with a bright blue color I never wanted. Where things really fell short was the customer service. When I asked about a possible discount at checkout--considering the error was on their end--I was told they needed to speak with a manager who wasn't there. I was also told I could come back if I didn't like it. However, after following up later, they not only declined any form of compensation but also went back on the offer to fix it. What made this even more frustrating was being told that I had "approved" the color, which simply isn't true. I voiced my concerns multiple times during the service. It felt dismissive and honestly a bit unfair to have that turned around on me. This isn't just about the wrong nail color--it's about how the situation was handled. I've spent a significant amount of time and money here over the past two years, and this was the first issue I've ever had. A small gesture--like a discount or honoring the offer to redo the nails--would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling undervalued as a loyal customer. Really disappointing, because I expected better based on my history here. I won't be going back as I am not going to support that type of service. read more

I've gotten my nails done here twice so far and have come in once to get them fixed. The first time I came in I had gotten them done at another nearby nail salon and they came out horribly so I came in hoping they could fix them and they came out perfect (mauve nails)! I was so happy and relieved that I've been coming here since. Both times I've gotten new sets i've done the same style (ombré french tips with chrome) and they've come out perfect! I had been sick for the past few weeks and my boyfriend had tried to treat me to a birthday nail appointment, and unfortunately we had to call out two times. They were very understanding and sweet over the phone, and they were able to fit me into Roys' schedule day of. I received a full set of acrylic with nail art from Roy, who was so incredibly diligent and quick with his art and discretion, I was amazed to say the least. Tried this spot looking to find a new local nail space. Made an appointment easy which they had to send a confirmation on. Parking is easy and when you walk in the routine is pretty standard. I like that they ask you what temperature you prefer your water. I opted for their deluxe pedicure with gel which took about an hour. Daisy was very gentle and even allowed me to compare two gel polishes I was debating on. The staff is sweet and friendly and the space is very spacious and clean. Would be a lovely spot to have a group pedicure or manicure given all the seating options they have. I was excited to have Roy do my dip nails based on past reviews but honestly I feel like this was one of the worst experiences I've had since getting my nails done in 30 years. To start off he was extremely fast at everything he was doing, almost like he chugged 5 cups of coffee before doing my nails. He was dropping things left and right, and even cut my finger. I asked for my nails to be thick due to breakage in the past, which he didn't do. He kept pulling my hand and told me I was sticking my finger in at the wrong angle. The whole experience was very uncomfortable and I couldn't wait to get out of his chair. read more

I really like this nail salon. Every time I travel through Folsom to the Bay Area, I stop here to get my nails done. I would say I've been here about 8-10 times. I've loved the quality of the services. It's very clean, organized, and every appointment has been great until the last. BUT....the last visit was the worst gel manicure I've ever had. I should have gotten the name of the tech who did my manicure, but I didn't. All I can say is that she was an older lady. The same day I had it done, I noticed that when I went to scratch my head, one of the nails was very weak. I'd never experienced that before. I realized she had ground the nail so thin in taking off the previous gel that even the new gel overlay couldn't strengthen the nail. Then the next day, one of the gel nails completely fell off. Since then I've had another gel nail fall off and found other nails that were ground way too thin. Fortunately I keep my nails short anyway, but I've had to cut them as short as possible so they don't tear off. One even started peeling down to the quick. I'm going to have to have to grow them all out now until they are back to normal nail thickness. I will go back, but I surely hope I recognize who that tech was. I won't let her touch my hands again, and I'll let the management knows about my experience. read more

I've been to this nail salon multiple times, and each visit has left me more frustrated than the last. Every time I go in for a basic acrylic fill with a simple solid color (no artwork, no designs, no long extensions), they come up with new reasons to increase the price. One time, I was charged an extra $10 just because I chose a lighter color. Another time, it was an extra $5 for "the amount of work"--which made no sense because all I ever get is a basic acrylic fill! I never ask for anything extra, yet the price keeps going up. I understand prices can fluctuate, but these excuses feel like they're making it up as they go. It's disappointing, and I won't be returning. read more

Terrible shame what has happened to this place. This used to be my GO TO for nails for the last several years. Always the best customer service at the desk, and always the sweetest nail technicians. But, I just think they've gotten too big, or they've lost the good people, and their customer service is slipping. My last experience was such a bad one, that I will never be going back. The man that did my nails was so unbelievably cocky. Even during my appointment, he was short with me and rude to me. Any statement I made as to the preference of how I preferred my nails, seemed to be taken as an insult to him. He never measured the nail lengths against the opposite hand, and as it turned out, every single nail did not match the opposing nail. My middle finger (I know, that's ironic) was DRAMATICALLY longer on my right hand than the left. I was shocked. So, I went back the next day for a fix, just hoping ANYONE could do it, and naturally, they put me with the same rude guy. And, his response to me was, after arguing with me that everything matched when it didn't, "Then go to another place if you don't like how I do them." Truly unbelievable. Even the lady at the desk didn't try and step in to make things better. I am speechless at the way I was spoken to. I NEVER leave a negative review, even if I have a bad experience, but this one just could not be left alone. The customer is ALWAYS right. Period. And they will be losing customers when they treat them in this manner. read more
