I have been searching for 3 YEARS for a nail tech, who just takes pride and listens- Holy SMOKES, I FINALLY found her! Tina not only is full of personality, but her old school approach and just pride in craft, saved my nails! I will save you my nightmare story, just know...... in the now 2 months I have been coming, I have my nails fully restored (I had got fungus from previous place, I do wear acrylics, have for the last 20 years) and not one broken nail or lifted! I have NEVER had this. Anytime before, that I have "usually" gone to in for a two week fill, I would have atleast one broken or lifting nail/s. All I can say is, she. is. magical. I first started coming to Tina about 2years ago when i needed to do my nails for a wedding that weekend and had no time after work. I called during my morning break and explained that I was in a bit of a time crunch. Tina so sweetly understood my situation and was able to give me a full amazing set within my lunch hour sparing enough time for me to get back to work on time. I've always had trouble finding a great nail person and have tried out more than I can remember. Most have always either made my nails too thick almost chunky for my natural nails or too wide. Tina always makes your nail shape look natural and they always look flattering, plus she always has a great color selection. I've been here a few times over the past couple of years. It's convenient for me, it's literally walking distance from my work. The owner, Tina, is very sweet and quick. Unfortunately, her nail polish did not last me a day the last time I got a polish change. A few hours later my nail polish chipped!! I did not go to have her re polish my nails, but she has done so in the past without charging. She also does waxing. I had a bikini performed. I liked that she charged me for a bikini price, as opposed to a Brazilian. I asked her to take off more than what a bikini price should be. I love her customer service, she is very personable, but bcz her nail polish do not last long, I don't (and won't) see her to often. read more

Avoid this place at all costs!!!!! Like the other reviews state, the salon isn't clean and it's messy. Doesn't look or feel clean. My toe nails we're cut extremely short to the point they hurt. The lady started my pedicure but her husband switched half way through so she could help another customer. My massage was hardly a massage, he barely applied pressure.. and I paid extra for the #2 massage. He used an absurd amount of lotion when attempting the massage. He didn't even shape my nails with a file, just kept cutting them shorter. My cuticles weren't trimmed. Not sure what I just paid for, but it certainly wasn't like any pedicure I've had in the past at other places. Awful experience. I'm not exaggerating when I say I did a better job of painting my toes when I was 10 years old. I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't even a certified nail tech. On top of it all, she charged me 50 cents to pay with a card (because I didn't tip 20% for obvious reasons). Just took it upon herself to add more. Avoid this place at all costs. I wasn't going to write this, but decided to because my nails keep getting worse.... 2 weeks ago I left on my lunch break, in search of a fill. I went to my normal place and there was a two hour wait so I tried 2 additional places, both with long waits. On my 4th attempt I went in to Tina's nails.... which was empty, I should have realized why. So, I had just gotten a brand new set about 3 weeks prior to me needing my fill, and it was a set that I was very happy with. A simple fill was all I needed but the second I sat down in the chair she grabbed my hand and started clipping. I sat in shock for about 10 seconds before I asked her what she was doing. I had told her what I wanted and she absolutely ignored me. I explained that I had not wanted her to cut my nails, as I liked the length, I just wanted a fill and that she had ruined my nails. She said "$45 if you want new tips, $35 for fill" I only had $40 cash and considering SHE had screwed my nails yup she should have done them for free, or at least reduced price.... but she didn't and I just got the fill with my newly shortened nails. I NEVER break or lose my nails..... Then 3 days later it started. My index tip cracked in half because she had weakened the nail by cutting them and then buffing them so thinly. I had to get it fixed... then a few days after that another nail became loose and I had to wear a Band-Aid on it for a week before I decided to take it off, as it was so glued on to the tip of my nail, even though it was extremely loose at the bottom, that it bled when I took it off. If I have time I will take pictures, after 2 weeks they look horrible, and I never ever have these issues. I will never ever go back . Tina is a really nice woman though, I will give her that much, but I will not go back to to her listening skills, quality of service and price. read more

Tina is amazing. I stopped in yesterday on my lunch break to get a gel manicure. She helped me right away. I had never been there before so when she offered to wax my eye brows I was super hesitant. I'm very particular about how my eyebrows are done so I was super nervous. But let me tell you, she did not disappoint at all! She did an amazing job on my nails and my brows and she got me out of there in under an hour so I could go back to work. Wow! I have been searching for a Nail salon since I moved to Folsom. I was going in for just a nail change for toes and fingernails. Tina suggested for me to get a full cause there was yellow fungus from my old set on a couple of my nails cause they were lifting. I took her recommendation and she made me feel special by getting to know me and actually taking her time fixing my nails up. They are the perfect length and super shiny. Place was extremely dirty. Looks like a graveyard for broken massage chairs. I was going to get a manicure but the guy dropped all the nail tools on the ground and then just put them back in the basket to do my manicure with them. So, I declined a manicure and just got a gel polish because I didn't want dirty tools used on me that were just on their dirty floor. The lady who painted my nails was a bit sloppy on the paint job and she had fungus nails. I could not wait to leave, I was afraid I'd catch something there, it was so dirty, everywhere. read more

I wasn't even going to write this, but I feel that people should be aware. My boyfriend and I were leaving for a cruise just days prior to getting our pedicure w/hot stones. I've come to this place plenty of times, where Tina and her crew were cordial and did a decent job. The salon appeared to be clean. Anyway, 2 days later we both broke out in several small, red, blister-like marks on just the front of our lower legs-so bizarre! After researching this, it was stated in reputable online sources that this lengthy name was a bacterial infection. Apparently it's in the pumps of the spas when they're not cleaned properly. I was so disappointed in having this grossness on my cruise, which lasted for about 2 weeks. There's small spots on my legs that have left scars. Unfortunately I will not go back to this place! I'm leary in even getting a pedicure. Perhaps maybe skipping the spa :( read more
