Glossy Nails has over delivered on its professionalism , cleanliness and great quality of service to customers. I personally have mostly made appts but the times I didn't I was able to be seen, the wait time is great , they are always happy to give their customers great service with a smile. I love that you are greeted when you walk in , been to several places where you're not acknowledged at all for quite sometime. I love that they have lots of different services to choose from, up to date polish colors and a very large variety of them. What makes me keep coming back is not only the great service but the fact that they take such great pride in keep their store so immaculately clean, after retiring from the medical field , you have no idea how important that is. They have always kept their work areas tidy, back wash area clean with clean risks, rest rooms are very sanitary . It's a whole package deal for me that keeps me coming back . Michael did my pedicure and, as expected, he was wonderful. He greeted me, asked what services I wanted, and I showed him my inspiration photos. Unfortunately, once it was decided that Katie would be doing my full set, the experience immediately went downhill. From the moment Michael told her she would be doing the full set, it was obvious she was annoyed and irritated. As a paying customer, that alone was uncomfortable, but it only got worse. I understand and speak Vietnamese, and without realizing it, Katie complained the entire time in Vietnamese saying she didn't want to do the full set, that she wouldn't be able to leave by 7 PM, and that she had plans to go to Tahoe. She was huffing, puffing, sighing loudly, and clearly rushing. Her body language, tone, and attitude were extremely unprofessional and made the entire service uncomfortable. Complaining about a customer in another language, especially when you don't know who understands it, is completely inappropriate. I chose to stay quiet and keep things professional rather than cause a scene. While I do like the style of my nails, the quality of the work itself is poor. The photos show clear flaws such as bubbles in the polish, uneven and sloppy tops, and my left thumb is noticeably tilted to the right. The set looks rushed and careless, which matches the attitude displayed during the service. The total came to $128, and although I'm normally a generous tipper, I tipped $20 specifically for Michael because he earned it. As I was leaving, I overheard Katie comment in Vietnamese about the $20 tip, which was honestly shocking and disrespectful. Katie, I truly hope you work on your professionalism. No customer should feel rushed, judged, or talked about during a service they're paying for. Once I left, the lights were immediately shut off, reinforcing how rushed the entire experience felt. I won't be returning and do not recommend booking with Katie.

Mimi was super proficient and definitely skilled in her craft. She removed the old gel with ease and completed a new look with my requested design like a pro! Very impressive with her work and love the vibe of the salon and her cheerful personality! I will definitely return and refer others here!!
