I was assured it would be fine and two days later the polish has chipped again. Quite disappointing to have spent almost $60 on a pedicure to have it only last for a couple of days.

My appointment at The Hills Nails felt incredibly rushed from start to finish... it couldn't have been more than 10 minutes. The technician barely acknowledged or spoke to me, there was little to no cuticle care, and my nails weren't shaped with much attention to detail. The polish was applied over my cuticles (as shown in the photos), and within just a few days it started peeling. What bothered me most was that when I politely mentioned my concerns to the owner, I was told, "Well, you got a basic manicure." To me, a basic manicure shouldn't mean rushed or sloppy. Basic doesn't mean there shouldn't be care, precision, or pride in the work. To make matters worse, after paying around $40 for the service, I was asked, "No tip?" in front of other customers. That was embarrassing and left an even worse impression. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect a manicure to be done with care and professionalism, regardless of the service level. Unfortunately, I left feeling like I was rushed through just to get to the next customer, and I won't be returning.

I arrive promptly on time and 5 out of 5 times my service started 20 minutes late at the earliest, last two times they were thirty minutes late. I have brought this up with the scheduler last time prior to my appointment and they were again 30 minutes late. The only reason why I did not leave is because I was with my young daughter who was very excited about her manicure. But I will not be coming back and do not recommend this nail salon to those who value their time. There are other great places in the area who do a better job with their scheduling.

Changed prices after service was completed. The brochures provided pricing that was not updated, that was out on display. The owner said the prices had changed but no new brochures were available AFTER THE SERVICE! Beware of bad hygiene and over charges at the last moment. Took advantage of single mom and daughter! They are incredibly nice there but the quality of my nails have not been what i was hoping for. A set of gel nails fell off after a week, where they should have lasted several weeks. They do really amazing designs and can mimic pictures i find on pinterest! I love their pedicures. read more

I was told it was because of the length, even though I had already said I wanted them trimmed shorter - but whatever that's fine. After they asked where I lived, I also felt like the pricing suddenly started changing, which made the whole interaction feel uncomfortable. Maybe others will have a different experience, but for me the overall vibe felt a little rude and dismissive. I want to be able to tell my nail tech what I want without feeling like I'm being argued with about my preferences.
