Poor quality cleaning service. I paid $250 for a "deep" clean, which was far below my standards for even a basic cleaning. I contacted the company and they did send out another crew to re-clean the home; however the results remained the same.. The floors had hardly been swept, the counters not fully wiped down, and the floors were never mopped. The only improvement from the second cleaning was they did wipe down the outside of the kitchen appliances. I will not be using again and would not recommend. read more

The quality of the cleanings is really hit or miss, depending on what team you get. We've had too many issues for us to continue using Lollimaids and have recently decided to cancel our services. The issues range from the teams running late, needing re-cleanings because the cleaners didn't clean or missed entire areas (ex., didn't mop any of the floors), and being defensive when doing the re-cleanings. Ultimately, I would not recommend Lollimaids since the service is so inconsistent. read more

Update on review- Claudia from the office called me to apologize and say will honor the job tomorrow since I booked a month ago. She was so kind and helpful and found two ladies able to do it. I was shocked and grateful. Then a few hours later, she wrote to say the owner told her to give me a 25% discount. Who knew this would happen. It shows there really are good people in the world who try to make things right. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE they booked me many weeks before a job and then canceled the day before and I only found out because I called THEM! I even got an email this morning to add my credit card to the account and they were confirming arrival tomorrow. I called and Carlos in the office acted like too bad and said he sent a text. I never got that. If someone doesn't reply you are supposed to check in again. This is terrible business. I had heard awful things about Lollimaids but I was giving them a chance. I used Yelps "project" feature for locating a maid and to get a quote with some prospective companies. We were looking for a deep cleaning service for our home since we had some recent renovations and reorganizing. Also, it was my birthday gift choice to get a maid. Lol. Girl needs a break! Lollimaid responded with a quote and I decided to go with them due to the positive reviews and how a lot of the arrangements can be made online. After being my quote online through yelp, I called Lollimaids to set up my appointment to which they had someone available practically the next day (another reason i booked. Availability). I was set up with a morning appointment with a confirmation email with loads of information of cancellation rules and how the maids will enter the home, which was very helpful. I love the breakdown. The ladies showed up promptly and they started working right away by working upstairs to downstairs. We had a language barrier but used Google translate to communicate. I informed them they were welcome to any additional cleaning supplies in my home to use, rooms to skip, and relayed my desires for them to focus on. My focus was the floorboards of the home since I'm not able to get to them due to my back and the bathrooms. They really helped clean up the house nicely and I noticed the extra small details they did. Some things were like making up the bed much better than we did. Lol. Felt like my bedrooms were transformed into a fancy hotel. They even folded the toilet paper all fancy, which is like leaving a mark that they had been there. They left my house smelling fresh and clean. They organized my kitchen counter better than I had ever thought of. Left my kitchen sparkling. Left my carpet like a brand new home. I did prepare the house so they can get to things easily and clear the way. Even then, you can definitely tell they were there and really helped get the grime and dust out. Unfortunately, one of the maids were dusting and knocked my Target dog plant figurines off of the mantel, which caused them to break. Honest mistake as they are very little and high up. I was able to glue him back together with gorilla glue. When I informed Lollimaids, they offer to replace them, but I said it was ok. I was very impressed with their work that I was forgiving. Plus, I was able to glue them back together. They do have a policy; if you're unsatisfied with the service, within 24 hours of notice, they will send the maids back out if anything was missed. The ladies did forget the floorboards even though I had mentioned it in the beginning of my initial quote and consultation. I spoke to Lollimaids later that afternoon after getting off work when I was inspecting the house. I submitted photos and received a response via email about scheduling another follow-up clean of the floorboards. Had a hiccup on the scheduling but got an immediate apology for the next appointment once I called to remedy the issue. I was pretty flexible and didn't mind bc I truly was impressed with the ladies work. I like how they run their business as there is always someone answering the phone to collect information, schedule appointments, and coordinate anything we may need. In addition, having to follow up from their admin if needed, to which in my case, I did. Response and communication was everything I wanted and needed. You can set up an online account to schedule repeat and even see your past cleaners so it makes it easy to request them again, if you so desire. Would I use them again? Absolutely! My husband came home impressed and said to bookmark them. He was always against having a maid, but I think I got him to cave. It was a birthday gift to myself so I can get a little break from cleaning and needing that deep deep cleaning. First time using Yelp project feature and it was quite a success. read more

We requested quotes from many cleaning companies and decided to go with Lollimaids due to their availability and good reviews that were posted on Yelp. We booked a move in/move out cleaning to prepare a house for rental as we just purchased it. When the cleaning ladies first arrived they were instructed to focus on the kitchen first as we knew the previous tenants left the appliances fairly dirty. We also requested the team to vacuum first since we had carpet cleaners coming shortly after. Neither request was followed. The cleaning was booked for 2.5 hours and when I arrived at the 2 hr mark to see what was left....it was a disaster. None of the bathrooms had been properly cleaned, no vacuuming was done in the bathrooms, no shower/tub was scrubbed, toilets were not fully cleaned, no blinds had been wiped, no baseboard has been wiped, no appliances were cleaned, no fans had been dusted, the list went on. At that point we had voiced our concerns to Lollimaids to ensure everyone was on the same page and they said they would let the team know. For the next 2.5 hrs after that ---- we have no idea what the cleaning team was doing. They told us they had no clean rags left, proceeded to keep wiping the fridge with the dirty rags and spray the inside of the oven but never cleaned it. They kept wiping the rest of the house and eventually we had to call Lollimaids to please ask them to leave and send us another team. Honestly we would have rather them not even come at that point because they didn't even do that much cleaning. We felt like we should've sat there to watch them during the first 2 hrs to ensure that they actually cleaned. However, Lollimaids had excellent customer service and sent us another team as soon as possible to get the job done. We were more than satisfied with the second team's work. If only this was the team they sent us the first time it would have saved us so much headache and time.
