A warm Sunday evening and an early dinner at Lola's. Quickly seated outside, though it seems they weren't using their main patio. Friendly server and fast service. We enjoyed the Brussels sprouts w/hot honey and our cocktails. I loved my Suburban Squared bourbon drink with lemon. Our salads were delicious and the falafel was perfectly done and a great pairing with the feta cheese. There weren't a lot of nectarine slices but they also weren't very flavorful so that was fine. It was lovely to sit outside by the fountain.

We came here for dinner while staying at my sister's before she moved. We were seated outside. It looked like a nice and busy spot, lots of seating indoor and outdoor but mostly packed when we went. I got the pasta and hubby got the pizza, they were pretty good. We had a nice night.

One of my favorite restaurants in Ardmore is Lola's Garden. The food is always so so good and their drinks?- 10/10. I highly reccomend going for brunch so you can pick between their amazing breakfast and lunch menu (the cinnamon rolls were top notch) This is a perfect place to stop by if you're shopping in the town center and need a bite! Once the weather stays nice out, their outdoor space is really lovely too!

Came here for the first time for a friend's birthday. The staff were very nice and accommodating! Food was great to share in a spread. The inside was nicely decorated and bustling (even after a storm). A small thing that bothered me but really isnt a huge deal, was the layout of the seated tables inside. We were at a round table next to the fake tree inside, and next to the bathroom and bar, and anytime other guests on the other side of the restaurant were trying to get to the bathroom, they would shove themselves behind us to get through. It was a strange path choice considering there wasnt much room behind us and we were constantly interrupted and having to move our seat to let people through. I think the flow of the room could be better so this doesnt happen but otherwise it was a good spot for catch up with friends!

Came here on a whim because it was always cute and I wanted to try something new in the Suburban Station area. The decor is pretty cute. Service was very lacking. Waited at the hostess area for 5 minutes to be seated. Tables and bar station were pretty empty. There were, literally, 5 people inside the restaurant when we entered. Should've known it was a red flag. Only ordered 3 things on the menu because nothing else really peaked my interest. The duck fat fries were okay. Crispy. The rigatoni was good but it did not come out piping hot. Semi warm. The scallops were not fresh. I was able to finish 4 out of 5 though. Truly regret eating that now because it really messed up stomach up. Almost didn't make it home because my tummy was turning and churning. Get my drift? Anyway, I wouldn't recommend going there. The place, literally, left a bad taste in my mouth with a sh!tty experience.

We had a delicious dinner at Lola's Garden tonight. It's located in Suburban Square in Ardmore. There are many parking options nearby. The interior is rustic chic. There were many great choices on the menu. We tried the whipped ricotta as an appetizer. The presentation of the whipped ricotta and puréed beets was as beautiful as it was delicious. For our entrees we had the Amish fried chicken and the smashburgers. The portions were generous, and we devoured it all. Our server was Michael D. He was friendly and attentive. I told the manager on our way out how great Michael D. is. This was our first time going to Lola's, and I know we'll be back.

A friend and I went for brunch on Saturday late afternoon. We didn't have a reservation so it was about a 10 min wait for a table. The inside was filled with pretty decor and we sat by an open window so it was bright and airy. I ordered a sangria a which was refreshing. For our meal we started by sharing the cinnamon rolls. They were a good size - the frosting was delicious, although the bread part was a little plain. For my dish I got the breakfast croissant - I asked for no meat and substitute avocado which they did for me, very much appreciated. The breakfast potatoes that came with my sandwich were my favorite - they were so crispy! Overall it was a nice place for brunch

Pookie and I came here for a Friday night date night. We sat by the open window inside of the restaurant, and I reveled in the breezy fall air all through the evening. We ordered the following during happy hour: 1. 2 Suburban Wides - I ordered Hell or High Watermelon and Hidden Still Tequila, and pookie ordered Cape May Oktoberfest and Five and 20 Bourbon. Mine was way better, and I had the best buzz :) 2. Grass Fed Burger - We shared the burger, and it was juicy, but not particularly rave worthy. At the end of the day, it's just a burger. 3. Duck Fat Fries - Below average fries. The majority of the fries were bits and pieces as it was mostly the fried ends that nobody wants. I will say, the garlic aioli was nice though. I liked our server, and I loved the energy of the restaurant. It was perky, cheery, yet romantic. It was beautiful sitting by the window with fresh air and getting to watch the sky become dark was a treat.

It's not often you find a comforting space that serves delicious brunch and provides great service, but Lola's Garden proved to be a winner with both. I visited over the weekend with a friend. She hadn't arrived yet but they allowed me to be seated at a table. It was a very busy day for Lola's, however, the staff were friendly and efficient. While I waited, I ordered an espresso martini. I haven't had one in a while but this cocktail didn't give me the jolt of energy I was waiting for. Still very tasty though! My entree was the falafel. I don't know what made me think the falafel would be served inside the pita bread but the pita was on the side instead. The falafel itself was amazing - not too dry and perfectly crunchy! The fries were excellent, too. Our waitress was so sweet and checked in every so often. She noticed we were catching up and reassured us there was absolutely no rush to leave. We ended up being one of the last few customers in there. There were other waiters and waitresses floating around helping to clear tables and refill our waters. I've heard Ardmore participates in their own Restaurant Week and I think this would be an awesome place to take advantage of the specials! Next time, I'll try Lola's for lunch or dinner.

Absolutely beautiful location! Excellent vegetarian options and mocktails! Food was delicious! Would definitely come here again!

Went in for late lunch and enjoyed every bit of it. Space is large with a verity of seating options and it's very clean. Sevice was quick and pleasant. The bar staff was friendly. The food was delicious. I got fries, brussel sprouts and a delicious chicken sandwich (so good I forgot to take a pic). And the most refreshing drink.

This place has cute and cozy decor, and in the warm spring, it is open to the elements even when indoor seating is opted for. We made reservations last minute for Sunday brunch and were pleasantly surprised that the reservation probably wasn't needed. We were seated immediately. Our server was training, so we had plenty of attention from her and her coach. The service was very good. Food and drinks were even better! My daughter started with a clementine creme soda mocktail; it wasn't her speed, so she switched to a sprite. I took a sip of it and thought it was really good. My husband had a "taken for pomegranate," and I started with a "butterfly gimlet," finished with "gin violet sour," and I can't wait to try more of the drink menu! I wish I had noticed the cocktail flights earlier. My husband ordered the French toast, and it was topped with a yummy peach compote. I had the broccolini omlette with Ricotta cheese and breakfast potatoes and mixed greens as sides. The omlette was ripped with pesto, and leftovers even held up well. My daughter had the breakfast sandwich and French fries with garlic aoili, and she had no complaints.

Each visit is a discovery of new deliciousness and temptations for the tastebuds. Last time I went with a decaf affogato with vanilla softserve, the classic. SO GOOD! 5*/5. I've been dreaming about getting it again so finally went today. and was immediately distracted by their extensive hot chocolate and drinking chocolate menu which now I need to go back and try. While I thought I'd go for the classic decaf affogato, I was enticed by the espresso X version which includes a warm chocolate chip brownie, hot fudge, rice krispie sprinkles, and the decaf espresso (at my request), vanilla and chocolate twist (other options just vanilla or just chocolate) - for the same price as the classic. How could I resist? Amazing - 5*/5 I have yet to try something at Lu & Aug's that isn't outstanding.

The service was very good: attentive and friendly. The ambiance is similar to Not Your Average Joe's in Ardmore with the upstairs/balcony seating and downstairs and big screen TV showing sports, but much noisier, especially as the upstairs also was filled with guests. By the time we left at 7:45pm after a 6:45pm reservation, it was loud enough that we had to fairly shout at each other to continue our conversation. The food was okay, except the salad which was excellent, but not worth returning for just the salad. - beet salad - 4.5/5, plentiful small diced red and yellow beets, avocado, arugula, a light dressing and burrato with crushed pistachios. a very solid starter salad and the server kindly split a large order into two small plates for us to share - fried calamari - 3/5, having just eaten at Estia last night which has a very good fried calamari, this one was not breaded as consistently and some of the pieces were a tad on the large side for a reasonable bite and too chewy to be cut with the fork or knife. - penne puttanesca - 3/5, my husband ordered this and while he not a self-proclaimed foodie, for him to say it was just okay means it was really just okay - linguine vongole - 3/5, points for the very plentiful offering of clams, i counted probably 20 generously sized clams (sometimes you get miniscule clams with this dish), but overall the sauce was too salty and there's not much you can do to fix that, and the linguine was a bit overcooked, definitely not even close to al dente We skipped dessert as by that point our ears were starting to ring with the high decibels coming from around us on the balcony and the floor below. It looked like a lot of people were having a good time so maybe it's just not for us.

Very busy house on a Saturday night and oddly but graciously quieter than many steakhouse environs. Service is good, as should be expected with this type of "pricier" option. If nitpicking, a side dish of Brussels sprouts delivered later than all entrees. Plates for "finished" diners cleared before all diners were through, which is understandable but not practiced in some higher end places. Steaks are truly cooked to requested temperatures, medium, medium rare, perfect and not as common as portrayed. The octopus appetizer is really well done. The halibut special was presented nicely and was delicate and flavorful all at once. Our server apparently makes the cappuccino herself and was quite proud of her skill and was really a nice touch.

The restaurant has a modern yet comfortable atmosphere, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special dinners. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made ordering easy and enjoyable. For our meal, we ordered the shrimp platter and the white fish with bok choy, and both dishes were excellent. The shrimp platter was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The shrimp were cooked perfectly--tender, juicy, and well-seasoned without overpowering the natural taste. Each bite felt fresh and balanced, and the portion size was just right. The white fish with bok choy was a standout dish. The fish was delicate, flaky, and cooked to perfection, while the bok choy added a nice crunch and freshness to the plate. The sauce was light yet flavorful, allowing the ingredients to shine without being too heavy or oily. It felt like a well-thought-out dish that reflects Dan Dan's focus on quality and authenticity. Overall, our dining experience at Dan Dan was memorable. The food quality, thoughtful preparation, and friendly service really set this restaurant apart. If you're in the Ardmore area and looking for delicious Asian-inspired cuisine made with care, Dan Dan is definitely worth a visit. Fast forward to this latest visit home. I finally secured a reservation...but then late yesterday afternoon my mom's knee started acting up to the point where she could barely stand on it. Fortunately, ice, Advil and rest overnight--and my mom really, really wanting to come here--kept us on track, and tonight I finally made it. It's a cozy spot, and I can see it making an excellent date night, especially since the BYOB setup allows you to bring the wine of your choice (and save some $$). We were seated promptly--this Sunday was relatively mellow--and the servers were super accommodating about removing a chair so that my mom's walker could occupy the unused space on our four-top. The menu is what I call right-sized. It may seem smallish, but there is a strategic assortment of salads and apps, pastas and mains (and, of course, desserts) that is sure to accommodate everyone. Dean, the young man who would go on to do an outstanding job taking care of us for the night (with the other two servers chipping in seamlessly as needed), went through the specials. My mom was particularly intrigued by a squid-ink fettucine with lobster and shrimp (and cherry tomatoes) in a saffron cream sauce. Could we split it as an app, we asked? Would it be too much food? On Dean's advice, we went ahead, while my dad got the mussels. All three of us ordered the pork chop, which my parents have been raving about for a couple years now. How could I not try it? Ordering finished, bread and olive oil (with a bit of balsamic) arrived at the table. Knowing I had a pasta coming and that the pork chop was a good-sized portion, I didn't want to overdo it, which I think was ultimately a good choice. The bread took the edge off, and then the pasta arrived. It was just the right amount for two people to share as an app, and we both enjoyed it, while my dad loved his mussels (and then dunked lots of his bread in it). Then came the main event. The pork chop lived up to (and frankly, exceeded) the hype. It was tender and perfectly cooked and oh-so-flavorful. Definitely one of the best I've ever eaten, and this isn't my first pork-chop rodeo. It was accompanied by asparagus and yummy baby Yukon Gold potatoes; I left a view of the latter, not because they weren't yummy but rather because the pork chop was huge and I was not skipping dessert. For dessert, I went with the house-made cannoli, which was a lovely, sweet (but not oversweet) ending to an excellent meal. I'd be happy to come back to Burrata anytime.

Topped it off with Strawberry Gelato and Limoncello cake. We had a great date night and can't wait to go back. Very reasonably priced and also a BYOB.
