I had to commend the exceptional service today at lunch. We stopped in during a road trip and I asked if we could sit outside due to having a small dog in the family. The host and hostess were exceptionally accommodating and insisted we sit inside with her. Our waitress Brandi was extremely friendly and attentive the entire stay. Overall the food was good. Salad, burger, brisket sandwich all hit the spot. My young niece was enjoying one of the coin operated machines but failed to win a prize. As we were getting into the car after, the host came out and gave her a stuffed animal, which was such a wonderful gesture. So nice to be treated so well by complete strangers! read more

Everyone is so nice, Emily is the hostess and is so very sweet when she realized we had four hungry boys with us she took their orders right away. She brought us the most delicious buttery rolls and that was amazing. Boys were happy as could be. We ordered Caesar Salad with Grilled Shrimp, the dressing was delicious and the shrimp were served hot and delicious. Fried Shrimp was so good with the side of coke slaw and baked potato. Wow it was allot of food and so good. Delicious cole slaw!!!! The kids had burgers and fries and they loved it. It was almost closing time and you would never know it by the service we got, everyone was so nice and friendly. Went tonight for prime rib. Hubby ordered his rare, mine was ordered medium. Our drinks came well into our meal, dinner plates were served 2 minutes after the salad was served, so food was cold by the time I got to it, but that didn't matter as I could only get down 2 bites of my prime rib before I called it quits. I don't know why I even gave it a chance, should have just refused it. It looked like gray matter. Like a very well done roast. It was not edible. Went to dinner on a Saturday evening, the place was busy but no waiting, which was nice! We had 4 people at are table, the 3 of us order the prime rib dip sandwich. 2 of us asked specifically no mushrooms. Upon the food arriving all sandwiches had mushrooms, 1 plate didn't have fries and they stated they would be ready soon, and the last plate of food was missing the side of broccoli that we had to mention was forgotten. Server apologized saying it was the kitchen that messed up the order. Dinner roll arrival was very delayed. Upon checking out we asked to have our bill split. When they brought are bill mine had a credit card charge fee already added (I was paying cash) and the other party didn't have the added fee. I asked our server why I had a fee added for a credit card in advance and he stated it was auto generated to be included in the price but would be removed when paying....kinda strange since I only received it and not the other bill at the table. I'm very frustrated that an added fee would be included when presenting the bill before even knowing the payment method. Overall the food was ok, server was really trying to hype up everything about the restaurant, and bad business practice by adding in extra fees. The shrimp with tartar sauce which I ordered, was accompanied by coleslaw. The coleslaw I was wary of at the beginning because of its limp, semi opaque appearance. I didn't touch it. The tartar sauce that I dipped the shrimp in, I'm pretty sure, is what got me. Within 15 minutes of leaving the restaurant I wasn't feeling well. We had been traveling and this meal was the only food I consumed that day. No doubts whatsoever about what caused my all night long restroom party. It was murder. It was Friday date night with my hubby and hardly anyone in the restaurant. It was around 8:00 p.m. We had a starter of mushrooms that were meh and took awhile to come. So we order our dinner...Prime Rib well done is the only piece left, so hubby gets shrimp trio with rice and mac n Cheese. I ordered Stacked Salmon with Mac n cheese, I had a side salad and looking so forward to our meal because we don't have an extra $100 to spend to go out to eat. We were given a $100 gift card. So our meals come and I was shocked at how not appetizing my meal looked. I did take a picture. My hubby's was a little better and he liked it. The mac n cheese was barely warm and taste worse than the boxed stuff. The waiter was kind and offered me another choice I chose Broccoli, hard to mess up broccoli. However this meal cost nearly $30 bucks just for mine. The Salmon was good but wait until you see the tiny shrimp stacked, more like laid. They need to rename this meal to, Laid bay shrimp and Salmon. The pic tell the real story. They say you eat with your eyes.....Not on this plate! One last thing, the cookie apple dessert is marginal at best, It taste like someone opened a can of apple pie filling and dumped it over the cookies and ice cream. Did I mention the cookies were probably delicious about a week ago. Hard as a rock! It saddens me this place has not just fallen but has crashed. It needs to be rescued and given life again. We ordered the brisket and the pile of pulled pork. Waited over 45 minutes and no drinks. Another long wait and our food arrived-without our drinks The server indicated there was an issue with bar service When he set the food down, I wished we had heeded the advice of other reviewers The brisket dinner was just... sad 2 thin, small pieces of meat (literally the size of 2 strips of thick cut bacon!)that was grey, barely warm and mostly fat! Baked potato was room temperature and the Mac and cheese was a cold, solidified blob of starchy, yellow goo-also not even warm! It was obvious the meat had been microwaved as well as the Mac and cheese Server eventually stopped by to see how things were and I asked if I could get the Mac and cheese warmed up and a new, hot potato. I wasn't about to have the brisket further radiated so I kept it. The flavor was actually good it was just a poor quality brisket and past it's prime The new potato eventually arrived along with the re-re heated bowl of yellow goo. After breaking off a piece of the glob just to taste it, I found it had virtually no flavor. So after removing the big sections of fat from the brisket, ditching the yellow goo, I was left with about 1/4 cup of edible meat and a baked potato My husband will eat almost anything and hates to complain and never sends food back so he wasn't bothered by the room temperature pile of pulled pork, cold potato and flavorless coleslaw Hope the powers that be read the reviews and make adjustments to their food quality. Had a great dinner with the family this evening! Our wonderful server was Ricky Bobby, and he provided amazing service, brought food out really fast, and kept our drinks filled at all times while being very friendly and inviting. He made great recommendations, I had the 16oz prime rib, and it was fantastic! The aujus was so full of flavor and the meat was cooked to perfection! If you like mushrooms, the fried mushrooms are the best I've ever had, also the potato skins are far above par, with the bacon and cheese, chives, sour cream, and such wonderful crispy skin while staying creamy on the inside, I'm definitely getting them with brisket and fried jalapenos next time as recommended by Ricky Bobby. Food was cold considering its a slow night, baked potato cheese had hardened and didn't make it through the tough cut of NY strip before the temp made it just greasy. The fish dish I ordered was incredibly under portioned (yes I took a bite) and my wife's steak was undercooked. What should have been 25 minutes turned out to be a 40+ minute wait for our food. Disclaimer: before I wrote this review I did contact the manager, Kaveh, to air my experience with both the service and food. He graciously offered to help make things right on a future visit. To keep this short I will skip the complaint on the slow service we encountered and focus on the meal. My husband ordered the ribeye steak MEDIUM RARE. Twice he was served a WELL DONE steak which we returned, uneaten. The server told us when questioned why the meat wasn't coming to the table as ordered that the cook was having an off day. Huh? I see most of the reviews are from the Covid era which was a bad time for all especially restaurants. Being a construction manager I know it is very difficult to get workers now. Employees who care are even harder to find. I suggest those who had a bad experience during the last 2 years to come revisit. I walked in and the hostess greeted me within 20 seconds. I was behind a large group. I said I would like to sit in the bar area and she escorted me around to find the seat I liked. She made me feel welcome. Ashley and Brenda the bartender 's were an amazing team. My water glass was never empty. And I wanted for nothing. I felt like I was at my sisters house.
