Terrible experience. Me and my husband came in on January 28, 2024 around 6pm. There weren't many people there, no more than 10 tables had people sitting at them. We sat at the bar as usual since the service tends to be quicker. We sat looking around for about 10 minutes before the bartender appeared from somewhere. She tended to a couple at a table then came and asked for our drink order. I got a Long Island which was premade so it was not good. My husband ordered a bud light draft, the keg was empty so he had to get something else since "there wasn't another keg to change it out". We then order the potato skins and our dinners. The potato skins came out burned. I opened my silverware to start on my salad and noticed my knife was dirty and after opening 2 more sets of silverware I finally got a clean knife. His pasta came out a little later cold and dry and my steak came out dry and over cooked. Logan's is a good chain steakhouse type restaurant. Food: Logan's offers a wide range of food. They have everything from seafood to salads. They even have what they call a "health nut" menu, this is a healthier option. Their fried chicken salad is really good. This past time I had the lemon herb chicken with baked potatoes from their summer menu. It was really good but the rice didn't seem like it was cooked all the way. Make sure that you always asks for rolls because they are amazing. Price: Their Prices are average for a chain restaurant like this. Most entrees are between $10-$25 depending on what you get. You do get a good amount of food for the price you are paying. Atmosphere: The atmosphere is very southern. It is a little loud but not too bad. Service: Here is where the 3 stars come in. Most of the time, the service is good. However, we had awful service this time. We went around 8 pm on a Friday night. They were somewhat busy but it took at least 10 minutes before our waitress even came over for drink orders. Then it took even longer to get our rolls. I have never written a negative review before but the manager at Logans was so clueless and rude that I am now. Have been to this location often and always had a good experience and food. Tonight the steak my son had was inedible, looked as if the grill needs cleaning because there was a build up of dried burnt particles on his med steak. We told the waitres as it was obvious he did not eat it. She automatically sent a manager over. The manager told us since we had a coupon for an appetizer that she could not discount the steak..... missing the whole point that the steak was inedible and their grill probably needed to be cleaned. My goal was to save someone else from having the same experience, it was not at all about getting a discount etc. She, Nancy, was flippant and rude and missed the whole point. Yes it was News Years Day in the evening but there was more than enough staff, several were sitting in booths or on their phones and it was not busy at all. Very disappointed again. We ordered half rack off ribs, and a 20oz bone in Ribeye. Ribeye was 45% gristle and fat and served near raw when asked to be mid-rare; ribs were cold not cool, cold. Also ordered zucchini sticks we didn't eat as they were limp and very, very greasy. When the waitress asked how things were, we replied with the above info and the response was OK see you next time. Would put 0 stars if I could. We ordered steaks to be delivered through Uber Eats. An 8oz filet and a porterhouse. I'm he porterhouse was apparently 86'd and they didn't update their Uber eats availability so we waited 50mins for it to be delivered only to find out the biggest, most expensive steak wasn't there. We had excellent service tonight for dinner. DREW I believe was our waiter & he was absolutely fantastic, honestly best waiter I've had in all my life! I ask to speak to general manager & he was so worried he had did something wrong but I just wanted her to know how amazing our service was and they should do everything in their power to keep him there. After being told by Red Robin next door that there would be an hour wait, we went over to Logans and we were seated within 15 - 20 minutes. Our waitress (Abigail) was very friendly and helpful and got our drinks and appetizer quickly. We had the onion petals and they were very good and hot. The rolls were fresh from the oven and awesome. My husband had the chicken tenders and fries and was pleased with his order. My daughter had the kid's portion of chicken tenders and waffle fries and ate her whole meal. My son had the New York strip and fries with cinnamon apples. He said his steak was good. I ordered "The Logan" with a side salad and sweet potato with cinnamon. The salad was good with plenty of dressing and the potato was cooked perfectly and tasty. My only complaint was with my steak. It was a good size and thick, but I asked for it rare to medium rare (basically medium rare but slightly more pink!). My steak was medium well and tough. All the taste had been cooked out of it. Even steak sauce couldn't help. I didn't say anything because I know servers are run ragged and shorthanded and ours was so nice, so it wasn't her fault. That's the only reason for the 4 stars. Don't waste your time unless you have time to waste. Heard bad things about logans figured I would give them a try anyways. Showed up at 7 Sat at the bar due to a 45 min wait on a table. Ordered our food within the first 15 min of arrival. Our food finally showed up around 835 the place seemed pretty dead from 8 on so don't know if they had to kill the cow or what. The only good thing is they did knocked 50% off our meals. The food was decent nothing special. My wife did have to send her steak back it was undercooked seemed like a recurring mistake. read more

We called early to get seating because we were in a rush. Most restaurants don't allow call ahead seating where we are from so that was something I really appreciated. When we got in there were at least 6 other families waiting in line. I found it incredibly odd that there were more open booths than families waiting. At least 8 open booths from what I could see. Our service however was very prompt. It seemed like the hostesses were moving quickly and really trying to seat, prep, and buss. Our waiter was Zack and he was one of the kindest waiters I've ever had anywhere. Ask for him and you won't be disappointed. Staff was friendly, restaurant was clean. We had a table of 5, none of us picky eaters but the food just wasn't good at all for any of us. I got 'The Logan' sirloin medium rare it was cooked correctly but for some reason still very tough and tasteless. My boyfriend and I also got very sick a couple hours after eating here so I'm kind of traumatized to ever give it another chance. I'm pretty upset to have paid $30 and end up getting sick. read more

I always give a place with not so great ratings the benefit of the doubt because I prefer to experience it myself. I didn't have a terrible time, but I didn't receive anything I ordered correctly. To drink I ordered their "tye dye roadhouse tea" and instead received the "big easy blue roadhouse tea". Then for my entree I ordered the Roadhouse salad without tomato and the dressing on the side. I got the salad with tomatoes in it as well as the dressing. I just said "oh well", picked out the tomatoes and went on eating. I'm not the type of person to send food back or make a big deal out of it. 1 star is too many. We waited so long for a table that my handicapped Aunt could sit at that we missed the time for the 2 meals for $14.99. We went out of the way to come here but will never again. I would have left but my family insisted on staying. There should be more tables for handicapped people. The kicking chicken salad is great. However, I ventured out and tried the pork chop sandwich because it has bacon jam on it. I had dinner here last night with my daughter and fiancée and the steaks were the worst I've ever been served. We all ordered our steaks medium and they came out slightly pink in the middle but they had a grey hue to them and the texture wasn't right. My poor daughter eats her steaks with ranch and almost completely finished hers even after saying it felt like wet roast beef. She ended up getting a stomach ache later in the evening. My fiancée barley touched her steak and I ate about a third of mine. We asked to speak to the manager but they sent the bill back with a 25% discount and didn't bother to come talk to us. My sweet potato was hard and not edible but the waitress replaced it and the second one was better. She was a good server and was very apologetic. I'd have to say the best thing about our meal was our salads. As they were the tastiest thing we were served. I normally don't complain or do reviews but I figured maybe it will save someone else's family from having the experience we had at this restaurant. I can absolutely say I'll never go back. Logan's used to be AWESOME. WHAT HAPPENED? every time we dine here it seems to take two steps back. My son and i ordered carry out. His Salmon was decent. The cherry coke was good but had to tell them they forgot my coke altogether. No biggie. I phone in my order-salmon, rice and mashed potatoes (no gravy) and chicken Caesar salad. She informs that they ran out of the salad mix kit (said it would be regular lettuce with the Caesar dressing) to which i said fine. I wait 10 minutes, food brought out minus the coke. When i got half way home my miniature salad had no Caesar dressing as said it would . 13.99 for maybe a half salad at best that was dry. Potatoes had gravy so son didnt eat them. Rice came in a tiny bowl. $42 for this, didn't have rolls that we requested, no utensils, just horrible waste of money. Best part was the hostess and how out going she is. I'm sorry but my experience here was very close to horrible. The food was not very appealing or satisfying. The fried onions were stringy and not crisp, the fried pickles were mushy, my granddaughters kid meal burger was pitiful, the size of a slider on a roll served with no cheese per the menu, that had to be sent back. Mine and my son's shrimp were not only half cooked but served less than room temperature. My blackened salmon was sent back because it wasn't the least but blackened and then when it did come back instead of preparing a fresh blackened salmon they appear to have just put it back on the grill and now it's dry. My grandsons burger was pink and he asked for it to be medium well. My son's steak was the only thing cooked the way it was requested, medium well. My drink (cocktail) was supposed to have been to shelf, it was watered down. Now, let me not take away from the waitress, v she was very accommodating and apologetic for the misdoings off the kitchen personnel. The little manager tried to make things right, but to no avail. There was just no coming back from this trip to Logan's Roadhouse. I don't think I'll ever go to another one. We still paid our $81.00 bill and tipped the waitress accordingly because that's just what we do, but overall experience, a big thumbs down. Just keeping it real.
