You guys, I just have to tell you that the 3 for me $10.99 deal is the best in town. We love going on Friday night after a hard week of work and sit in the bar. Even though they have completely re-done the dining room and it looks fantastic. But we sit in the bar and watch the multiple TVs that are all around and we each order the 3 for me. For just $10.99 you get a drink (Coke Zero please), and a starter (Chips and Salsa please), and a main (OTB please). OTB is their Old Time Burger and it's simply great. It's a big burger, it's a cheese burger, they will cook it Medium (TY), it's full of lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle, the bun is sturdy and it's totally my fave. AND it comes with Fries. We stopped in to get a late supper after traveling by air all day. This was only 12 minute drive from IND airport and is open till 10:00 pm. We are happy to report this is an excellent Chili's! We were warmly greeted, seated immediately at a booth in the bar area, and had great service from Carson, the bartender. We enjoyed a bacon ranch quesadilla and a small salad--food came quickly and was delicious. The property also looks very clean. Went to Chili's today with my brother and the server was awesome and always attentive other then that I know the food has not much to do with my server it's mainly the cooks but today I ate the surf and turf which consists of a ribeye&shrimp with steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes($30 plate) when it arrived it looked appetizing, once I started to chow down I noticed the steak was super greasy from the bottom and the shrimp smelled awful and the broccoli had dark brown spots on the bottom of the stem and the mashed potatoes were very gritty instead of soft and mushy. I didn't even finish the plate and started to feel a instant uncomfortable feeling in my stomach, paid and left my server a good tip because she did a good job once I got home I sped off to the restroom and had diarrhea and also puked most of my meal... worst experience so far for me. I was super disappointed with this Chilis. I've always loved Chilis, but this visit just made me want to sit in a bath filled of hand sanitizer. When I first walked in, I had to use the restroom. Im not sure why, but the left sink drain was filled with hair. I just thought "ew," brushed it off (no pun intended) and washed my hands in the next sink. Got back to the bar, my spouse was for some reason standing and talking to the bartender. He was ordering our drinks, waiting for her to clean a booth (all booths in the bar were dirty). I asked him why we didn't just sit at the bar, he said that we "weren't allowed to" because of covid... but by the time I get out there, it was just a dirty place setting where someone had just left. After our drinks got delivered, my spouse made a gross face, and picked a long hair off the outside of my drink. Disgusting, but it was the outside so I didn't complain. Then, after literally about 7 minutes of sitting down, our bartender asks if there's anything else she can get for us tonight. Granted, they closed at 11, but it was literally 10:15 when she asked this. Slightly frustrated, I asked for the check. She quickly apologized saying "she has a lot of cleaning to do, but this is the payment method" and turned the iPad towards us. I can't make this up, there was a huge hair hanging off of it!!! I mean, come on. We are in a national pandemic. Literally saw hair everywhere not once, not twice, but 3 times in maybe a 25 minute visit. I won't be returning to this Chilis. The menu has a new 3 course option starting at $10.99 which was good and large enough for my wife and I to share. The staff made it more than easy for us to split the meal which I appreciate. They even divided the entree for us! The food was good and service very helpful! Even having two young kids, the meal worked out well for us. I wish our booth had a better clean before we were seated but it didn't feel unreasonable given the difficulty that I knew would come with my own kids dropping napkins and food scraps on the floor. They also have an offer for free kids meals but I didn't read all the details. I expect we will be back again soon. read more

I haven't had Chili's in over a year partly because the one closest to me closed. While shopping in Plainfield on a Saturday, I decided to do curbside pickup here. I was reminded that their lunch special is unmatched. I was able to order and pay online. A member of their friendly staff brought our food right out, once we alerted them via text that we were there. Order was packed well, food was hot and tasty. Both meals also came with a small salad and drink(not pictured) all for $10. I ended up eating my salad and corn on the cob later that evening. Portions are really good for the price. Do not go here with a handicapped person in a wheel chair. They have no accommodations for the handicapped besides the parking. After we were told it would be a 15 minute wait (at 3 pm with a number of empty tables) we attempted to find a place in the bar area. We were able to find a place where my wife would be out of the way with her wheel chair but were told rudely by the bartender that the table was designated for carryout. After positioning her at a booth the same rude bartender told us she had to check with the manager to determine where we were sitting presented a fire hazard. We rarely get out because it is very difficult, nothing anyone would understand unless they were in our situation. We left Chilli's with them making no attempt to give us a chance to enjoy an outing at a restaurant, something most of us take for granted. We did not feel welcome there and felt as if they did not want handicapped people in their establishment, simply put, discrimination against the handicapped. read more

My fajita, or frozen veggies in a hot pan with microwave chicken, as I called it, was awful. No flavor whatsoever, and my pico de gallo was still half frozen. The flour tortillas tasted stale and the rice had an odd taste...like bottled lemon juice. Hubby got a burger and they didn't even ask how he wanted it cooked. (Didn't realize until he got burger) it was a well done bacon burger on a dry bun. Kiddo got an 8oz steak medium well. It came out medium well but it was a pathetic thin and long piece of meat. Sadly the only decent thing we had were chips and "salsa". It was more like picante sauce than salsa. Absolutely no chunks of any kind. But the flavor was good so I'm going to hold onto that so it wasn't a 100% waste. Yes, their a chain, and most restaurants are identical or extremely similar layouts. Sometimes known is a comfortable feel. As we entered the hostess greeted us with a smile and promptly seated us. First trip out we opted for the bar area but second visit included a 3 year old so dining room it was. We decided on the 3 courses for $10 special currently offered. Includes one non- alcoholic beverage, one appetizer and 1 entree from a select menu. We started with the Southwestern Eggrolls as our appetizer (not on 3 for $10 menu) on both visits. The 6 open tortilla shells are filled with chicken, black beans, corn, red peppers and jalapeno Jack cheese. The blends of flavors work well together with just a touch of heat. They always disappear quickly. My steak was cooked perfectly, seasoned well and tender. And you can't go wrong with the loaded potatoes which was a good choice. We saved our special appetizer and had salads with our meals. All 3 items for just $10. My friend had the Chicken Quesadilla, a huge hit, and the 1/2 lb. Big Mouth Classic Burger. All prepared as ordered and enjoyed. Even stuffed, the Molten Chocolate Cake was ordered. Well worth stuffing ourselves for with the warm, chocolate cake with a molten center and topped with ice cream served in a chocolate shell. Chocolate overload! Our servers were great on each visit. I come in for their house margarita's a LOT; but my true obsession is their ranch! Every time I order salsa or guacamole I get ranch with it for dipping the chips too. Total was $27.25. I used a $25 gift card then gave the cashier a $5 bill. She opened register, paused then gave me $2.25. Shorted me 50 cents. The look on her face told me she was out of quarters. So, instead of getting more quarters or giving me back 5 dimes instead of 2 quarters, she decided just to short change me. She knew what she did by the way she quickly turned around and walked away without thanking me or even giving me my receipt. This is not my first disappointing experience at this location. Another thing is if you call for a salad off the lunch menu you only get half a salad (we didn't know this until we looked at the check). And their salad is loaded with croutons and cheese.
