Talk about melt in your mouth tuna! Just the right amount to leave you full but also wanting more because it's so good! I'll def be getting this in the future and is a close fav to the bang bang now! What a fun happy hour! I went with a friend and enjoyed the calm atmosphere and an appetizer and mocktail. They had several options and do a happy hour every day from 3:30-5:30 pm. We were there for specific options but would come back for a different special or even for a dinner. I had a blueberry refresher that was so tangy and perfectly light for a hot summer day. The crispy cauliflower was so lightly fried that it was crispy and yet not overly done. Yum! Loved the batter and the crispness of the slaw included. We went to Bonefish for a 3- course brunch event this past weekend. It was a delicious and casual event. My favorites were the pickled crab deviled eggs-so yummy and the crème brûlée French toast. The shrimp and grits were tasty but the grits weren't as firm as I like. The cocktails were all delicious but the pumpkin espresso martini couldn't be beat. The candied bacon strip on the old fashioned was the best I've ever tasted. All this food and only $40 per person. They host these dinners several times a year. Nice events. read more

This location is located in a small strip mall with tons of parking available. It has a decent sized dining area with a bar area with seating. I guess the best way to describe this place is that it is somewhere in between a TGI Fridays and a Ruth Chris. It is dimly lit and you will find a couple of televisions in the bar area. There are not any televisions in the dining area though. they serve your typical pub food including seafood, steaks, pasta, salads, burgers, and soups. They also have a decent menu of wines, margaritas and signature cocktails. I ordered the blackened Baja fish tacos with a side of fries. I also got a side of the Kung Pao Brussel Sprouts. I was with a large group and it took about 15 minutes for me to get my food. Our server, Ava, was awesome. She was very friendly and attentive. The other staff was also very friendly and helpful as well. The food however, was just ok. I was not wow'ed by it and I have had better at similar restaurants. First time trying the 3 course meals Bonefish advertises now and again and maybe I should've tried their lunch or dinner menu because their brunch was not good. Starting off with how we were seated, I didn't like being seated with everyone like a cafeteria. Granted, our neighbors were very nice to talk to but I thought we could've been at a booth, if someone had a disability, they would've had a hard time getting in and out of their seat because we were pushed together. At this location, there was no presentation on why the food was paired with the drinks despite other locations getting a lecture. The best dish was the shrimp and grits, well seasoned and perfect portion. My favorite drink was the aperol spritz. I would try their other food. read more

Today shows that if you have the right people on the job everything just works. One bartender, one hostess, one server, and one chef and yet they did a fantastic job taking excellent care of everyone! A table of eight, several tables of four, a couple of tables of two or three, and possibly more in the bar area. Those four talented and quite capable employees all seemed to pitch in and help each other through, what could have, (maybe should have) been chaos! As someone who has been a bartender and a server in my younger years, I was really impressed. It took a tiny bit longer to get our food but it was served hot, perfectly cooked, and all without any of them looking frazzled or stressed. Our server, Kassie, was over the top sweet, friendly and accomplished, even through what could have been somewhat overwhelming to the average server. Like I said, when you hire the right people, the ones who care about others, always try to do their best, and take pride in doing their job, it just works. Not as good as previous 2 visits..., I only visit this time of year as I love the pumpkin ravioli.... The filet was more like a sirloin, no seasoning at all:( All the plates came out hot but the food was luke warm which was odd. I can't quite figure out what was missing on the ravioli but not as tasty like it was left in the boiling water to long. The swordfish definitely didn't look like the picture but my husband said it tasted fine. The staff was awesome though as always. Will definitely try again next year and maybe go in the afternoon when not so busy. read more

Thank goodness we got a gift card for Bonefish, because if I had to pay for this food otherwise, I would have been livid. Our drinks didn't come out until we were done with our appetizers. I ordered the sirloin and lobster tail and asked for the steak to come out medium rare and it was well done! I asked for a new steak and it came out again...well done! The lobster was cold and very chewy. The broccoli was going bad with many brown spots. My daughter ordered the filet and it was pure tendons and a cheap cut of meat! So gross and unfortunately, this has become a trend at this location. Finally, I saw a teenager vaping in the kitchen area waiting for food. Disgusting! Attended the Cocktail pairing dinner. Lots of food! Had leftovers for the next day. I love their bang bang shrimp. The white cranberry Bellini was nice. Bacon wrapped scallops and the spicy shrimp linguine were delicious too. A couple of the cocktails were too sweet for my taste but the flavors were nice. The margarita was really good too. The butterfish tasted good although ours wasn't warm. But considering they had to serve 70+ all at the same time they did a great job. I made a reservation for the monthly cocktail brunch pairing. It was a delicious experience with three different courses. They were nice enough to give us a fourth course included. The first one (the extra course) was a Bloody Mary with a deviled egg. The second pairing was the Beehive Spritz paired with Shrimp and Grits. The third course was Crab Huevos Rancheros paired with Sparkling Mango Sangria. The fourth course was the crème brûlée French toast paired with the espresso martini. I was with a party of 6 and overall, we wouldn't come back. Fish and chips were doughy and greasy. Some people in our group didn't get their sauce for their meals. I am vegetarian and there is no real options for that. I ordered a salad, fries, and fried cauliflower. The salad and fries were good, but the fried cauliflower weren't good in my opinion. Cauliflower was too tough. On the positive side, the cocktails were amazing. Also, the manager comped the fried cauliflower since she noticed I wasn't eating it. We arrived just before five pm and the dining room had only one table with diners but when we left just after six, the dining room was half full. The tables have a double layer of paper for a table cloth that sits atop a hard mat of some kind. It gives the appearance of linen tablecloths and a classic look. Service was quick and efficient, just the way you would want it. We began our dinner by ordering the starter Imperial Dip with the Seasoned Tortilla Strips in addition to the complimentary bread and oil. The dip consists of a variety of seafood including some shrimp mixed together with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses. The chips are cut into long slender strips making them perfect for a dip. The dip was outstanding and really filling. My sister and I had to force ourselves to stop eating it to save room for our entrees. She ordered the wood-grilled Rainbow Trout and chose the Coleslaw and Steamed Asparagus for her sides. I ordered the wood-grilled Mahi Mahi & Shrimp from the Perfect Pairings menu with Coleslaw and the Jasmine Rice for my sides. I also chose the Lemon Caper Butter sauce for both the fish and the shrimp. We both sampled each other's entrees and I concluded that my Mahi Mahi was my favorite of the two. I believe it was the lemon caper butter sauce that really complimented my fish. The Jasmine Rice was excellent just as it was the previous times I ordered it. My sister loved her coleslaw but I was filling up fast and elected to take mine home as leftovers. My shrimp were very good too if not better than the fish but both had the same sauce and the sauce was outstanding. I've dined at Bonefish several times in Florida but this was my first visit to an Indy area location. Their high quality of food and service has been consistent for me so I'm happy to return again. read more

The beautiful wife & I had dinner last night at Bonefish Grill. The service was outstanding. The food? Pretty good. We started with complimentary warm bread & dipping oil. It was very tasty. Next we shared the Imperial Dip. It was good but the chips were seasoned unevenly. Some had too much & others not enough. A minor quibble but I felt it should be noted. We both had appetizers. My wife had the chowder & the Brussel Sprouts. I had the chowder & bang bang shrimp. We both find the chowder ...all right. There was something just a bit off in the seasoning & it was a bit overpowering. The Brussel sprouts & bang bang shrimp were both great cooked correctly & seasoned just right. We got an order of Maryland Crab cakes and 2 cups of lobster bisque from this restaurant via Doordash. We both wound up with food poisoning. I suspect it was the crab cakes as they tasted old and just not right. It was my very first case of food poisoning ever and I was extremely ill for a full four days. End our meal with the macadamia nut brownie and the rum coconut pie. The pie was good itself but the rum on it was extremely prominent for someone who doesn't drink alcohol. I wouldn't recommend if you dont like the taste of alcohol. If you do enjoy an alcoholic beverage, I'm sure you will love it! Update from my experience: I have gotten food poisoning from eating the tuna poke bowl and wouldn't recommend anyone eating it from this location. My $40 sea bass came out in pieces like it fell on the floor and got picked up. I was at Bonefish for an event and decided to stay a bit and order some treats to take home. This Bonefish has a lovely atmosphere of cozy and friendly. My server, Syquan, was incredibly friendly and knew all the dessert items very well. I was going to just order some cookies, but with Syquan's encouragement, took home chocolate chip cookies, white chocolate cranberry cookies, and key lime cake. When I'm doing carryout at a restaurant, I care about three things: quality of food, quantity of food (I like leftovers, okay?), and care in packing. Bonefish knocked all three out of the park. Everything was packed carefully so all of my food arrived home safely and without the cake frosting ending up everywhere or cookies broken. It was very well done. With respect to quality, the cookies are, in a word, phenomenal. I don't know which is better, which is saying something, because I LOVE a chocolate chip cookie and usually can't even stand to look at anything white chocolate. The white chocolate cranberry cookies are so good that I very nearly decided to hide them from my husband (I swear I didn't actually do it). We shared the key lime cake and wow, what a refreshing treat. If you like key lime pie and you like cake, this is a no-brainer. It will transport you to a tropical vacation with just one bite. I'm not kidding. Let's talk quantity: The cookies are not huge, which I appreciated because I don't always want a HUGE cookie, and having a very normal-sized cookie is the perfect serving. I took home three packs of three cookies per pack and we ate cookies for several days. The single cookie is fine, but it's a much better deal if you get three. ;) The cake slice was very generous, so it actually took us two nights to eat the whole thing, which was really nice. All in all, I'd absolutely recommend this Bonefish. The food is good, the servers are super friendly and nice, and the place is very pleasant to visit...and they do carryout well. read more

I came here after a long day, looking for a nice experience. I was seated quickly and my waiter (Tristan?) was attentive and gracious throughout the meal. I asked for a few minutes with an adult beverage before ordering. The Old Fashioned was good, but not great. When I placed my order (crab cakes appetizer and house salad) it came out quickly -- almost too quickly and both together. The crab cakes were tasty and I would recommend them. The house salad was disappointing. The mixed greens were wilted and it only had two small slices of hearts of palm. The pepitas seemed to have been mixed with sunflower seeds. The kalamata olives were small pieces. Overall, it was uninspiring. I ate the good stuff and sent the lettuce back. I ordered a cauliflower side dish which was okay. I was not comped for the salad, even though I expressed that I was disappointed with it to the server. Bread came out halfway through my meal, rather than at the beginnig. I've been going to Bonefish since I've been in my 20s I am now 43! I went there for my birthday on Wednesday and in ALL the years that I've went there I have NEVER had to send back a dish not once in a decade until last night! My mom got the 9 oz. sirloin with two sides she ordered her steak medium it came out extremely bloody and raw, she sent it back (she asked them to put it back on the grill for a few minutes) and it came out still not again she just went ahead boxed it up, it wasn't taken off the bill my mom's friend got the stuffed shrimp that was the ONLY thing besides the bang bang shrimp that was OK I got the scallops and the shrimp my shrimp was tough and my scallops just was just bland with no flavor at all scallops are usually sweet these were NOT. I got a double side of brussels sprouts because they WERE my favorite they were a disgusting and very dry. I sent those back and got the au gratin potatoes they were OK my daughter got the Diablo pasta with the shrimp and she added a scallop skewer they brought the dish out with four scallops on top of the Diablo shrimp dish ( which I'm still so confused on why it was on top of her pasta and not on a skewer) we asked where the shrimp was so the waitress went and got her some shrimp so then she started eating the broccoli was so hard she couldn't poke her fork in it to eat it, the dish was warm, the shrimp was tough (like mine 2 came out hot 2 were warm I broke the tails off got my daughter that's how I know) and the dish was just simply flavorless she wouldn't eat it I tasted it and I didn't blame her. She asked the waitress to take it she was done and they did take that off the bill BUT our bill was still $175 and I tipped my waitress 40 bucks because it clearly wasn't her fault she was a doll. I'm assuming that it was a Wednesday night and they were just so busy that they probably needed their weekend chef, or maybe they have a new chef? I asked if the chef was new they said no so idk. I don't really do anything for my birthday besides go to dinner so it was just really a big disappointment for me. No manager came by to ask why we sent any of the dishes back or to ask my daughter if she would like something else. I probably won't be visiting for a really long time, I will find a new spot to dine. My waitress was perfect as always no complaints there, she felt bad and apologized but again it wasn't her fault, I told her that and tipped her well. I hope someone at bonefish reads this and fixes whatever the problem is. It would be a shame if bonefish goes downhill, it has so much potential. The food was brought out by another server who we never saw again. I had to stop another server just so we could get refills of our waters. We were there last night with family. 5 of 8 in our group got steak. Everyone's steak was tough. Two people in our group didn't finish because they were tired of chewing. I had the fish and chips. The breading on the fish was doughy and undercooked and I didn't finish it. We mentioned something to our server about the poor quality of the food but nothing was taken off the bill and the manager didn't address it. We stated that we weren't looking for the meals to be comped, but in the past I have had managers remove a portion of the bill if the food was subpar. I will say the Bang Bang Shrimp was amazing, as was the complimentary bread with olive oil. This is the 3rd time in a row that we have received poor food and/or service. The previous visit a dead cockroach fell onto our table (thankfully before our food arrived), presumably from the ceiling tile. This location has really gone downhill over the last couple years. The food quality and preparation have really suffered. What a lovely romantic place. Honey took me here on Valentine's Day. From the moment we walked in we were treated kindly & as if we were regulars. How fun is that? LOTS . So extremely impressed with one of the bartenders, Kasey. She recommended this ahi tuna appetizer, which at the moment, it's name escapes me . Boy oh boy was it scrumptious & yummy for our tummies. My wife and I went there for the first time today for lunch. I ordered the corn chowder with crab and bang bang shrimp. The soup was good but lukewarm at best and the shrimp was good. My wife ordered the fish tacos special which came with a salad and fries, she ordered blu cheese dressing on the salad and it came with house vinaigrette. The fish was cold inside the tacos. The bread that comes with the meal was delicious. The service was excellent. They just need some help with the heat of the food and getting the order correct. read more
