Love the food truck in Burgy. But the burger I was served last night was subpar at best. Very very wet completely fell apart. Staff is excellent. Left hungry which for the price is a crime. Will try again hopefully with a better experience . Very small space and loud. read more

A much improved version of the Noho version. Cleaner. Maybe slower, but hard to say. The classic burger was good. The pulled pork sandwich was a special and very good. The onion rings - massive. A single order easily enough for 4-5 ppl. read more

Not the best, unfortunately. We dearly miss Riff's Joint in this location. The food at Local Burger Easthampton is not as good as the Northampton location. The last time we visited, I simply got fries as to avoid the heaviness of the rest of the menu, and I ended up getting food poisoning anything. Not sure what is wrong, but I think the oil needs to be changed in the fryers much more often than it is. The ambiance is fine, they left it untouched by riffs. The service is okay- We've waited quite a bit for food/drinks. Nothing special, sadly. read more

Went to the easthampton local burger for lunch with a friend. Located in an old mill with high ceilings and large open spaces. Always a challenge to decide what type of burger I wanted to eat. We shared an order of onion rings that were impressive in size. Large thick slices of sweet onion covered in batter and fried to a golden brown. Served with chipotle ketchup and of course piping hot. They were definitely good as presented but needed salt. After a couple I was kind of wishing for more seasoning in the breading. Maybe some Cajun seasoning? Not quite sure. They were also really heavy. Wondering what a tempura type batter would be better result being lighter? Not sure. Anyway my juicy Lucy arrived and was impressive in size. Very good burger with molten cheese in the middle and served with lettuce tomato and onion. Great outdoor grill flavor and a nice brioche roll. Know what would take this from a 8 to a 10 for me? Give me a few choices on what cheese goes in the middle. A pepper jack or smoked Gouda would push this baby over the edge. I'd even consider paying an up charge for this option. Left hungry. I took my sister who was back from FL to eat on Sunday. Food was good. We always loved riffs. Seems like they have tried to keep the menu similar. The spicing margaritas were delicious however my chopped salad was so small I left hungry and it barely covered the bottum of the bowl. For 20 dollars that bowl should be full. Also everything with the burger is al a cart. In a place where your buy drinks also that has a 100% markup on alcohol they should at least serve homemade fries or homade chips or side salad while dinning in. Meh I will give it one more try but don't skimp on food for the prices your charging for a burger or salad. Walked in not knowing what to expect. Food is delish, servers quick and nice. Mac n cheese bites and pretzel bites were a win, and the burgers were awesome (The Local, Juicy Lucy). The real winner was dessert--cookies, brownie sundae, butter toffee cake and cheesecake were all top notch and apparently new to the menu. We will be back! read more

Our family was excited to try the new Local Burger in Easthampton, which is located in the former Riffs location in Eastworks. At this point it had been open for about a month so we figured it had been enough time to work through any kinks in service. We arrived at about 5:30 on a Friday. There are two areas you can sit - we sat in the bar side which is a little nicer than the walk-in/out orders side. Our waitress promptly took our orders. We were happy with the nice selection of beer on tap as well as cocktail choices. Our daughter got a milkshake that she really enjoyed. We tried two types of fries and both were very good - nice and crispy but a tad under salted so we added salt . Our burgers were delicious and we were happy with the various options. Meat was nice and juicy and the "local sauce" was yummy. We will definitely be returning for more! read more

Got a kids meal ck fingers and reg fries were good but no juice box to be found. Sweet potato fries were soggy, dripping oil. The "pretzel bites" were drenched in oil. Maybe the fryer isn't up to temp. . . Not a good take out experience. read more

Sadly I was underwhelmed. The "crispy Brussels" were greasy and topped with nearly raw onions. The burgers were okay but the buns were too mushy. The bartender was loud, annoying and a know-it-all, giving his unsolicited opinions in an overbearing and loud voice. I'm unlikely to return. read more

Food is great never had any issues with any of it, and I've gone to all their locations. The fish and chips is definitely my favorite it tastes AMAZING just need to always ask for more tartar sauce lol I use it for my fries too. The burgers are amazing and their BBQ pulled pork sandwich is amazing so much flavor. The service is great even if there is a line it moves pretty fast. The spiked milkshakes are AMAZING so good I can't say enough about them they are that good. Everyone is friendly and has a smile on their face. The atmosphere is very friendly and they are always doing something. I always go back because I absolutely love the people there. read more

Best place in Easthampton ! The turkey burger, chicken tenders, coleslaw, you name it....all excellent and not over priced. My absolute favorite is the pulled pork sandwich. So good !! Extra points for not using plastic for their packaging. read more

This place is a disgrace. Workers are rude. Food was undercooked. Service was terrible. Food took forverr to be made. Placed an order at 11am food wasn't even ready by 6pm. If I get food poisoning this place will be hearing from my lawyer. I am so disappointed. Had a long weekend and can't even enjoy a meal here in Massachusetts. Don't recommend this place whatsoever. I was a fan of Local Burger until this year (2024) when the service has been horrible to say the least. My first stop was at the new Local Burger in Easthampton since I was there right after they opened. What a disappointment! Ordered a Cheeseburger and since they had dill pickles, I asked to have a dill pickle on my cheeseburger and even told the server that I planned to add what I wanted when I got home. Well, when I go home, I had a "smashed" cheeseburger! I had to rip off the top to add what wanted when I got home...some of the bun was left on the burger because this is how smashed this cheeseburger was as well. Next order was a cheeseburger at Local Burger in Haydenville, MA. 1st trip of the summer ordered a cheeseburger and told them not to put anything on it since I was going to do this when I got home. Got home and again I had a smashed cheeseburger that I had to ripe off the top to add condiments that I wanted. So, the next two trips I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and then the meal that were awesome! Today another 90-weather day so we went to Haydenville where I ordered a pulled pork meal and then my husband was not sure if he wanted the brisket or the ribs...he ended up with the ribs - neither one of us ordered brisket but that is exactly what I got! Drove back and returned the meal/got my money back! Will think twice before I go back to a Local Burger after these 3 separate visits out of 4. Too bad since the one location that got it right was Northampton! But this location no longer has a handicap parking space because it is part of an area blocked off of parking spaces for an eating area...less than 50' is Strong Ave that is blocked off with tables for an eating area as well! So, if you are thinking of ordering a cheeseburger at a Local Burger and you do not want a "smashed burger" order a pull pork sandwich or the pulled pork meal that comes with a side as well as their corn bread (excellent corn bread) but I would skip the burger if you wanted to add what you want on it! Service this year really is horrible so think twice before you go to Local Burger! I personally am not going back again...I am done! Service was extremely slow and they weren't busy at all. We waited a half hour to received our food. We ordered two burgers and got drinks. I was surprised to find out that there where no fries or some type of side included,in my opinion the food is overpriced to not come with a side. The employees where also quite and just seemed like they didn't want to be there. Also,people that had walked in after us received there meals before us. Wanted to love it...tried it 3 times before writing this review so I could give a fair opinion. Imo I think it's difficult for a small burger joint to shift into a large restaurant space. Riff's was big so there was a lot to fill. I don't think Local has figured out their branding for this location and if they have, then for me, I'm not sure it makes sense. In the main area they have pictures of local spots, which make sense to me. But in the lounge, they have gold mirrors on the wall and pretty much nothing else. Reminds me of Galaxy. And the music...one time at the bar I was baffled why rap was playing. Say wha?! Totally didn't make sense. Not sure if they're catering to staff preference vs customers. There's nothing connecting the bar to the "Local" brand. It feels disjointed. I wish they updated the bar decor and put a better tv at the bar. They have an opportunity to do a refresh that would make it feel more like a local burger joint bar. All 3 times the bar was empty and the front seating area just had a few ppl. I'm not sure how they'll stay in business if that's their norm. Maybe in the Fall it will pick up. Anyways...food is OK. I would say that prices are on the expensive side. I get how prices have gone up but for what you get it's not worth me going there with any regularity. Impressed they have grass fed so that's a bonus. I'm baffled why a burger place doesn't have red onion--that's a given at any restaurant, especially with burgers. I think the cook is still working on getting the burger temps right--seems like they favor the well done...salad was OK. Not a fan of them chopping up a burger on a salad--it dries out quickly and cooks further so you end up with overcooked meat bites on your salad. Tasted fine but seemed small for cost. If what you're hearing is "meh", you'd be right. I don't think it's great but I do think there's great potential if they make adjustments. Service was ok. Bar staff seemed bored but I would too if I had only a couple of customers. I do miss Riff's. Maybe with time Local as a large restaurant/bar will improve. Time will tell.
