Originally opened in 2012, this is the first of 10 locations. I was really excited to try it and even drove down from Santa Monica for it and was super disappointed. First off, this area is quite rough and not the sort of place you would want to take a date or your mother. That being said, I love a good dive bar, so I was willing to give it a shot. When we arrived, there were only a few diners sitting and eating, and one waitress working. When we walked in she didn't say hi or anything but told us "it's going to be about 10 minutes" and then disappeared. About 20 minutes later, she came back and brought us to our table. We were the only ones waiting for a table as well in a party of two. Then we had to wait for our drink refills and just all around did not receive very good service. There is a large free parking lot on site, so parking is quite easy, but inside is actually very small. You can tell it's a remodeled IHOP location in that typical a-frame style, so it's a very narrow restaurant with very few tables. That being said, with only one waitress working, we had to wait quite some time to set our table and she seemed to be overtaxed. Also, the interior is not quite as clean as a traditional diner, think more along the lines of Denny's. I decided to order the Carne Asada Chilaquiles and thought it was just OK; the meat was a bit chewy, so you can tell they use cheaper ingredients. Also, the eggs were almost white, so you can tell they don't use amber yolk or high-quality eggs, definitely the large scale Costco or Walmart version. I also ordered a Caramel Iced Latte and was sad to hear when she told me that they were already all premade and that the dairy could not be adjusted. Having a premade latte just sitting there all day is not ideal. After all of this, when she brought over our bill, she asked us to review the restaurant. It felt extremely tacky to me and odd that after such bad service she would ask for a review, so I am following up on that for her now! I would not suggest, and won't be back to this location, or to any other Loaded locations. There are too many other great options extremely close by. Definitely the most disappointing breakfast of the last few months.

Free mini conchas when you first sit down is a nice touch. Friendly greeting, efficient ordering and food comes out quickly. We received frequent visits from the staff to make sure everything is ok or need anything. There was a birthday celebrated next to us and the staff came out and sang, giving them a free dessert. I ordered the Swedish Crepe combo - comes with eggs, sausage (or bacon) and hashbrowns. Swedish Crepes had a lingonberry syrup on top that was a bit too sweet for me. I would order that on the side so you can control the amount. Everything else was average with a price of $18.99. My husband ordered the Original Breakfast (11.99) with pancakes, sausage (or bacon) and eggs. He thought the pancakes were a little undercooked but had nice flavor and fluffiness. The location is next to LB City College and there's a sketchy motel next door. But inside was very clean and comfortable, frosted windows obscure your outside view.

Richard was amazing, friendly and swift. The food was top notch and his recommendation for the Swedish crepes was appreciated. The asada chilaquiles were so good. Would totally come back again.

First time here and food was amazing. Our server Richard was so nice and helpful!! As soon as we walked in everyone was friendl, I'd def visit again.

Thank goodness I remembered to take a picture of the last yummy pan dulce we were served before they were all gone!

After my daughter ran in the Long Beach triathlon, I asked her what she wanted to eat. "Pancakes!", she said! And so we did! Loaded Café was the perfect place to go. Parking was easy, we got a table for five quickly enough, and the service was excellent. And she loved the pancakes! Everyone enjoyed their food, and I loved that my avocado toast had guacamole instead of just sliced avocados. The small pan dulces that were served while we waited were excellent. What a perfect place for any meal!

Dulce de Leche Crepes, Caramel Churro Stuffed French Toast, and Pambazo Sliders, Iced Coffee, and Coffee (Regular)...best breakfast ever, fresh, and tasty, plus great service, Richard was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was cold inside and super clean, plus great music.

One start for friendly waiter, one star for complimentary pan dulce. Menu looked very promising! We got the pambazo sliders (no flavor), asada crispy chilaquiles (tasted like canned enchilada sauce and microwaved cheese, super bland meat), mazapán crepes (drenched in condensed milk), and the trio coffee (all watered down). Was excited to try this place but ended up very disappointed and will not be returning.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got the chance on Saturday. We were sat immediately and looked over the menu. Our server Ray was amazing. My coffee was brought to me along with some fresh hot conchas.I opted for the original breakfast but subbed hashbrowns instead of eggs. The all you can eat pancakes really tempted me, but since I can't eat that much what I ordered was perfect. Our server was very friendly and checked on us throughout our meal. My coffee cup was never empty. I will definitely return. They have so many different things I want to try. They have something on the menu for everyone.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Good option for French-inspired eats in downtown LB…read more The hubby and I decided to stop in for brunch since we were in the area for the World Cup watch party. We'd been here a couple of times before, but only for drinks. The interior is quaint, with pretty typical Francophilic touches (pics of Parisian landmarks, etc). I decided on the Fit crepe, which is a buckwheat crepe filled with spinach and feta. Delicious, but the crepe was a bit dry around the edges. The drip coffee I got was great, however, and the hubby enjoyed his Veggie hash. Friendly service from the two servers, but they seemed a bit stretched--maybe it was more crowded than usual due to the watch party?

Not a super huge fan of French cuisine; however, the menu looked good and mostly reasonable prices. Restaurant is super cute with indoor/outdoor seating. We started off with a bottle of cab (41.00, ouch)! It was noted as a different brand on their menu and they came with a bottle of Josh Cellars which isn't a bad table wine but about 3 times the price! We ended up ordering the fondue for the app (24.00) which comes with bite size pieces of bread and diced apples. It was ok, a little too runny and had an interesting hint of beer flavor. Next up we both ordered the brie & prosciutto sandwich which came with a side of au gratin and greens. The sandwich was excellent but the potatoes were cold. We ended our meal sharing creme brulee for dessert. It was good but also served cold. Total bill incl tip: 163.00 bucks (double ouch)! Overall, meal and service was good, but I would forego the wine on a future visit as it was way overpriced for the brand we got as well as the cheese fondue. Will definitely be back though. Very comfy and charming atmosphere.

Talk to you as like we're with children drinks arrive late food was not order a place need to treat customers with respect no customers no business no tips wouldn't mention your names, but I personally think it was very inappropriate. There were few people they were polite for the rest. The kitchen needs to get the order right server manager should be a little bit more considerate how they talk to you customers for that matter I would never go back to it. Knowing that when you place a second order, which is as bad as the first one, I'm happy with Service and I'm happy with the food. Will never go back and by the way you need shades in those windows in the Sun!! is too strong to seat customers in the sun window radiating so much heat on you. Yes you gotta afford to put a few shades seat if possible just kill some of the sun out of the customers shoulders or back and it's too bright. You cannot even see the person in front of you and the scale from 1-10 I give it a rating " 3 "!!! Don't get me wrong. You do have very good service for my observation is too bad. We settled on the chicken sliders, dolmathes and eggplant dip with a combination of cucumbers and pita. The sliders tasty, but a bit dry- hard to fry a tiny piece of chicken and have it moist, I guess. But the little bun was soft and eating it with everything else made it better. The dolmathes were good, as always. I could have eaten a few more of those! The best deal, though was the dip platter, the only item that was regular menu size. The cucumber slices were huge! Dip and pita were warm and comforting. Satisfying combo of bites for a great price! $17 for the entire spread. Next time I would sub the lamb chops for the sliders, though they are priced at $12. The restaurant is always casual and laid back but the decor is really sharp and the open air vibe on a warm day is relaxing.
