Three of us women went to have a cocktail last weekend. To put it mildly, the waitress lacked enthusiasm. She knew very little about the cocktails and needed to check with the bartender several times. Then two male patrons came over and sandwiched themselves between us, uninvited. They were flirtatious, rude and very forward. One of the men made us very uncomfortable- grabbing my friend's hand and trying to persuade her to add his number to her phone. Needless to say, we needed to leave. We went up to the bar to pay and found the bartender to be unfriendly and rude and a bit impatient. To top it off, a male patron sitting at the bar made a comment to my friend, thinking she was talking about him! I wanted to vibe so much here because the DJ was giving, but unfortunately the bartenders were not. We had to leave and go elsewhere since they were ignoring us. You would think they would ask you if you want more drinks after they take your empty glasses, but no, they leave without offering. Lofi is lowkey a hidden gem! Easy street parking options. Walked in and loved the vibes in general. Bartenders were attentive and knowledgeable. Very relaxing space. Great music selection. This place is spectacular! They have a full bar with an excellent line up of specialty cocktails, and even a small selection of beer and wine for your friend that thinks cocktails are too fancy. The atmosphere and ambience are both near perfect, which is RARE in this town. I love when a place understands that patrons want to actually have a conversation with your friends, instead of attempting to talk over max-volume music and other folks attempting to yell over it. read more

Wow! What can I say... this little place is such a gem! The ladies who own and operate the lounge are fantastic! I attended a little surprise bachelorette party with a group of friends. We were able to do a super fun mixology class/party where we made 3 really cool drinks, got the lowdown on how to create our own syrups at home, and just overall had a great Friday evening. I feel like our group took up a good portion of the lounge, as we basically had the entire bar top, and I appreciated that the staff was so accommodating to a group as large as ourselves. I really enjoyed the meat and cheese plate, and the cute blue bow duck plate it came on (reminded me of growing up). Overall, the ambiance and vibe of the bar is very chill. Velvet couches to cozy up on, great moody lighting, and of course the mural. I especially LOVED the bathroom, it's the perfect place to snap a quick pic for IG. Plus, I really appreciated the educational poster on signs of overdose. I felt that in this bar, I would be safe. This will be my new spot if I ever find myself in Modesto. 10/10... read more

Have to go with one star here. First, there is no sun indicating you are at the correct location. Second, there are no listed hours anywhere I could find. I called the business to see if I was in the wrong place and they were very unhelpful. Not sure I'd even try to go back. read more

Nice little bar that's downtown. I liked the atmosphere and plan on returning soon. The location is small but I didn't mind at all.

I really want to like this place. I love a well done cocktail bar and their physical space is actually nice, if crammed. They've also had great DJs every time I've went. However, the actual service has been awful every time I've went. I've been there three times now with two of the times being only moderately busy. If I'm paying $12 for a signature cocktail made with E&J brandy, please at least acknowledge my existence within a few minutes. My friend and I were excited to try this place. I've been hearing lots of good things about it. We walked in on a Saturday night and they were pretty busy. We were greeted immediately and sat at the only open spots at the bar. The rest of the place was completely full. We were handed their drink menus and looked them over. We decided what we wanted and sat there for 30 minutes. One bartender was working really hard and the other was chatting with customers that appeared to be her friends. We finally decided to just leave since no one was able to ask us what we'd like to drink. Way overrated. We won't go back. bummed. read more

Just walked in to this new bar in downtown Modesto. We put the drink order in, waited and watched the waitress visit, washed glasses and totally forgot our order. Check this place out! We were walking downtown and saw the cocktails sign outside and came in not knowing what to expect. It has such a nice, low-key atmosphere! We loved It! It made me feel like I was out of modesto and on vacation somewhere. The waitress immediately brought us water and a snack tray. I was super pleased with the snacks.
