We did a project in 2020 to install flooring in part of our TH using LL Flooring. We were very happy with that result. We recently decided to install the same flooring in the rest of our TH. Though LL Flooring's installer took the measurements, we had 3 boxes that were not needed. They would not allow us to return these boxes (we would have been willing to keep 1), because the project was completed more than 30 days after purchase. Each box was approximately $175. So disappointed given we were a repeat customer. read more

Our job had an extra box of flooring left over. When I drove 50 miles to return the box to the Chantilly Va store they refused to accept it due to the fact it over 30 days since the installation date. I made calls to try to speak to an upper management personbut to no avail. After spending over $6000. I think they should have made an exception and refunded me back that extra box. read more

Our experience started with a save. My wife and I stepped in the store and the very first person we interacted with wasn't the greatest. Charles (reading the room) stepped in and completely turned the experience around. He was very knowledgeable and took his time to help me. Overall, the experience was good. There were some gaps (I had to call a few times to get the wood delivered) and we found the initial measurements (by the 3rd party installer) were wrong. The recovery by the LL team and the install company was quick and very efficient. All issues were resolved quickly and the project completed within the same estimated time line. The 3rd party install team was great. Very efficient, quick and responsive to questions. I plan on working with LL again in the near future. read more

Megan was fantastic! She went above and beyond to help us. She was very patient and helped us feel confident in our purchases. Highly recommend due to her customer service! read more

Stopped in here to order some hardwood flooring, along with some of the accoutrements: bull nose molding, T-molding, and reducer. Good staff and service. Good selection of hardwood flooring. Prices may not necessarily be the best - but they will be close. This location is hard to see - it's not immediately evident from Sullyfield Circle - it's on the back side of one of the buildings on Sullyfield Circle. read more

I highly recommend Lumber Liquidators ("LL Flooring") in Chantilly for purchasing and installing hard wood floors. I ordered hardwood floors from the company in early December of 2021 and had a great experience. The service was excellent! The store clerks and the person that visited my home to do the measurements were courteous and very knowledgeable, responding to all of my questions. The company had the materials, which are almost an exact match for hardwood floors installed in the home over 20 years ago, in the store, thus avoiding current supply chain problems and installation delays. Within 3 weeks of ordering, my beautiful floors were installed. The project was complicated because of numerous stairs with several landings in different shapes. Lumber Liquidators uses Epic Flooring as their installer. They did a fabulous job! read more

Just awesome! Charles & Chelsea great in helping, e planning, talking me through what to purchase. Great options & prices. Next time I need a floor, I'm going back there. Now, just to install. read more

I first went to this store about 5 years ago to purchase hardwood floors for the main level of my house. It was one of those close out deals where you had to buy all they had in stock. Luckily it was just enough to cover the area and the price per square foot I couldn't pass up and it was the color I wanted too. Fast forward to today. We went this morning after not quite finding what we needed at another store. I told my husband I had previously had good luck at this location so we figured we'd check it out. After our first two flooring options didn't pan out as they didn't have it, the salesman recommended something else on sale. The color was along the lines of what we needed and frankly it had the look of what we needed. And it was actually cheaper (like 1/2 the cost) of what we originally wanted. So we decided to go for it. Very helpful there was something else I had my eye on too, for our bathroom but we didn't measure as we were planning for a different room. They guy wrote down the information for the tile we liked and said we could call back if the measurements worked out and they could take the payment over the phone to make sure we bought the product. Quite helpful at this location so I will certainly return should I need flooring again. read more

I went in just looking for information and Charles was really knowledgable! Unfortunately, they didn't have the finish I was looking for but the customer service was great. read more

Had a very good experience with the Chantilly team and the installation teams. Floor looks great. Luxury Vinyl Planks-Mont Blanc.

Was a great experience! I was rung up and out the door with what I wanted in no time. Guys loaded 35 boxes of hardwood by hand bc I drove a pick up and not a trailer but no complaints from them! Always refreshing to deal with such positive attitudes read more

One of the perks of being a homeowner is getting to make major home improvements to it. Last summers project was the ceiling fan. This summers project is the hardwood floors. My contractor reccommended purchasing the floors from lumbar liquidators. I know nothing about floors, so i was completely overwhelmed with the choices. I was also overwhelmed with the prices. I thought that it was supposed to be "cheap" but it really seemed comparable to home depot. They just can't match the selection. I will say that the man i dealt with was one of the biggest idiots i've ever met. I am making a HUGE credit card purchase and you're asking me to do a "zip code fist bump"? come on! I kept looking at my watch and wondering if this guy was going to ever stop answering the phone while dealing with me so i would make it pick up the bf fresh off the plane from korea. Eventually my floors were ordered and only three days later they arrived! Too bad nobody told me until i finally called on Friday (they had been there since tuesday). Well this ended up delaying my installation by a week. Thank you lumbar liquidators for not calling me. So i really appreciate the selection and the people (minus the guy that checked me out) were knowledgeable... and didn't ask me to fist bump read more

If I could do zero I would. The people who came out to do our floors were rude and unprofessional. They use four master bathroom without asking, left the toilet seat up and foot prints on either side of the toilet, left their personal trash (coffee cups) on my front porch, spilled wax all over my wall and said nothing. They also did a terrible job installing the floors. They shot nails right through the tops of boards and filled it with putty, left the top of the stairs unfinished, and didn't properly prep the floors so some spots are uneven. Upon contacting LL, we went through additional bs. There was a complete lack of response, no one following up, lies about things being ordered, etc. I contacted them the same day the original floors were installed 1/24/17 and as of today still do not have the new boards even in my possession to be installed. They have to be in the house for several days before the work can be done, so we're looking at over a month for them to fix something I set up and had done over a period of a week and a half. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!! Update*** flooring was finally brought to our house 2 and 1/2 weeks after amount needed was confirmed. Delivery people were an hour and a half past the latest time they were supposed to deliver and today the install company tried to cancel coming out on Monday, two days from now, because they didn't finish another job. We've had this scheduled for a week and a half. I repeat, do not use these people. read more

I purchased roughly 2,000 ft of hardwood for my home from the Chantilly Lumber Liquidators location. The original transaction went smoothly and the salesperson we spoke to was helpful for the most part. It turned out that close to the completion of our floor renovation, we would need a few more boxes of wood and understood that it would possibly need to be ordered (we had been through the same transaction just weeks before). We went back to the Chantilly store and thought we would try our luck to see if any stores in the DMV area had the wood in stock so that we could finish the project. We were shot down very quickly (and rudely). It turns out that the salesperson who was rude and on the verge of acting completely inappropriately is the Assistant Manager. Not impressed. read more

Yeah! Lumber! Party! Lumber Liquidators had the best prices for materials (red oak hardwood flooring) by far. Their installation contractor was more expensive than others, but it was no problem to use someone else. They had a great selection, zero-pressure sales staff, and everything was delivered promptly. They also refund extra wood (with a small 20% restocking fee). Plus, when you actually find this place in Chantilly, you feel like Indiana Jones. read more

Decent prices if you don't have problems. I purchased flooring and received 2 different finishes for Bellawood Bazilian Bloodwood. Even though they were aware that the finish was changed. The store said it was out of their control since I didn't return it in the 30/60 day timeframe. So be sure to inspect the wood asap. Also, Regardless of what the employees tell you be aware they do not honor their warranty on Bellawood flooring. After 4 years of normal wear the finish on the Bellawood flooring looks horrible. I've contacted customer service and they don't have anyone to come out and inspect or service the flooring finish. How can you have a 100 year warranty and have no one to service the floors. Bellwood 25, 50, and 100 year warranty my ass... Such a scam... read more

Great service from "Chris" as our sales rep., very kind and caring from cradle to grave for our flooring project. Product and pricing including installation very competitive and quality is without question. Our most impressive aspect of this first flooring project, (entry way and powder room, kitchen, lower level bathroom and both upstairs bathroom), was the installation by "Choi", with Epic Flooring. My wife and I cannot thank him enough for his "outstanding" workmanship and caring approach "as if he was working in his own home". You are very lucky to have such a hardworking employee who takes such personal pride in his work! Thank you Choi! You're the best! read more

Love the place place. Great customer service. Sam is awesome. I'm was looking for Brazilian Koa, He worked with me for a week until I made my decision. Sam took his time and use very patient as I change my mind multiple times. I would recommend Sam and crew to anyone that need flooring. I live in Gainesville but I made an effort to drive to Chantilly just for them. I could've gone to any of the ones closest to me. I highly recommend them. Thanks Sam. read more

My wife and I had a great experience working with Limber Liquidators and All Wood Flooring, the contractor that installed the flooring. Everyone at this location was very friendly and professional, especially Mufasa who helped us out and even came over the day after Christmas to give us an estimate. The installation with All Wood Flooring was a great experience as well. Jung and another associate explained the work, ripped out our old carpet, and installed the hard wood laminate we chose within 5 hours. They were very professional, respectful of our home, and friendly - they even helped us clean up afterwards! Considering the price and level of professional service and courtesy, I would definitely recommend this business. read more

I echo Rehan Z. -- the return policy is horrible. I bought an extra box of bamboo flooring in case I had any issues with the install. I didn't and the store refused the return due to the 30day limit. Sure I see that now on the fine print on the invoice but pretty sure that wasn't made clear when I bought it. I remember being told I could return it. Buyer beware on the return policy. I would have given five stars if I wasn't for the rejected return today. read more

I picked up 300 sq ft of the Bellawood, which is one of their most expensive, and so far have been impressed, not only with the quality, but service. Chat and Charles helped me and answered a lot of questions about the installation process. I purchased the under layer, spacers, glue, and quarter round trim from this location too. I would definitely recommend checking out this store when you shop around. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I'll make this simple. Flooring was installed wrong, horrible job. Company contracts out to another company to fix it. Constant re-scheduling, excuses, and flat out lying. Floor still not fixed. Don't use this company. Sales personnel at the store are very friendly and professional, thats all this company has. Don't be fooled into thinking the rest will be the same, read more

I did my initial purchase at Lorton Lumber Liquidators and the manager was a complete jerk! That being said, when I needed to return a few extra boxes in Chantilly, re-buy 2 extra boxes, and then return 1 last left over box, Eric was awesome. I was definitely over my 30 day return period on the last left over box (boy that floor took longer then expected) but they were so easy going in Chantilly. I definitely recommend seeing Eric in Chantilly, if you have any questions or concerns he is great! I got a great price and my new floor looks awesome! Thanks Eric in Chantilly for making it so easy to do my purchases and returns! read more

Adam the Lorton store manager was so helpful in making my flooring transaction, I whole hartedly recommend to go to this location. We purchased the floating floor system and he was very informative and excellent in customer service. read more

When I visited the store the first time there was an employee who was from a different store who worked with us. He was friendly and super helpful. When we went back however, the actual manager of the store was there. We stood in an empty shop for 10 minutes before we finally walked over to ask for help. At first he did not even look up. We asked to make a purchase and he acted as if it was a chore. I asked about the care of the floor. He said "use anything." So I followed up with can I use pine-sol? He said no abrasive cleansers like pine-sol. I asked if vinegar was okay...no. He finally said "just water" is all you can use. So I just googled when I got home since he had no idea what he was talking about. When we went to pick up our order the manager was rude. I am pleased with the product and price but not sure I would return with such poor customer service. read more

The price and selection is decent at this store, but the customer service here is abysmal. No one picks up when you call and no one responds to emails sent to this store. I made a purchase on the 31st of the month but somehow the coupon for the month was applied on only half the order. When I went for pickup they asked me to make additional payment, and said that it would be refunded n a few hours since they could not change the order and it had to be done by a regional manager. 1.5 weeks later, and after having contacted the customer care as well still no response from the store. Better stay away from here. read more

Wow. Horrible customer service. This past Friday (3/30/12), my husband and I went into Lumber Liquidators to look at solid wood floor options. I liked a certain type of flooring that was discontinued, so I ask the man helping us if there were other wood options that were similar and if he could point me in the right direction. Instead of trying to accommodate my request, he simply answered "no". Hmm, I would think it's fairly obvious that you're not doing me a favor, Lumber Liquidators. I'm doing YOU a favor by shopping at your establishment. So, to the man in the reading glasses, pink dress shirt, light colored Armani jeans and lumber liquidators hat on who was completely unhelpful, you lost 2900 sq feet of sales. read more

Customer service after the complaint was able to help me, the store customer service when it comes to returns is horrible, I am not sure if I will be shopping again due to the hassle I would have to go through due to the return policy but my issue has been resolved for now. read more

We did all of our business with the Lorton store. However, we did not have the wood delivered, we chose to pick it up. The Lorton location did not have all the wood we needed so we were told to go to chantilly to pick it up. The only nice person was the guy in the back that was very kind & helped us load the wood (even though we were expecting to load it ourselves). The manager & salesmen in the front were rude & acted inconvenienced that we were there & that they had to call the Lorton store to verify payment. I would not return to this location bc of the attitude of the sales floor staff. read more

After much looking, we just purchased flooring from this Lumber Liquidators store. Everyone there was incredibly helpful, and because they don't work on commission, there was no pressure and the sales associates were honest about the products. Sometimes shockingly honest. But I appreciate that. And Bruce, the manager, has gone above and beyond to make sure he's got a repeat customer. He does. The next time I have flooring needs, I'm checking here first. read more

I was very much impressed with Lumber Liquidators. I'm a first time buyer of flooring so I was very much lost as far as the how's and why's of this process. I went to the larger and more commercialized businesses first but then a friend of mine suggested these guys. From the first phone call to them, their service was prompt, honest, responsive and it remained that way until the job was finished. Their prices were incredibly reasonable and the guys they sent to do the install were friendly and cheerful for the entire 10 hours they were in my home. I will certainly be recommending them as well as using them again in the future. read more

My husband and I were looking for hardwood flooring for our kitchen. We wanted 3/8 inch to 5/8 inch flooring but when we told the salesman that was what we wanted, he asked how soon we were going to install it. My husband told him we would be installing in a couple of days but then the salesman said they didn't have the 3/8 inch in stock and it would take 7 to 10 days to get it in but they had 3/4 inch in stock. Of course the 3/4 inch was almost $2.00 more per square foot but we didn't want to order and take a chance that it wouldn't come in when it was suppose to so we finally decided to take the thicker flooring. We didn't find out until we had paid for it and had it home that we had to leave the flooring in the room it was going to be installed in for 2 weeks before putting it down. Even then that information wasn't given to us by the salesman, but by our contractor. I called the salesman to find out if we did need to leave the hardwood in the room uninstalled for 2 weeks and he confirmed so he knew but neglected to tell us when he knew we were only taking that flooring to get it installed earlier. So we paid more for thicker flooring so we could install it quicker when they knew full well the 3/8 inch flooring we wanted would have been ready to install in 7 to 10 days instead of the 2 weeks we now have to wait. We considered returning the flooring and ordering th 3/8 inch but they charge a 20 per cent restocking fee even on unopened boxes so we would then have to have paid 20 over cent more for the flooring. Definitely not good business practices and I will not be recommending them. read more

I had an excellent experience working with the staff at the Chantilly location. They were the only store in the entire country who had the flooring I needed. Mr. Mustafa handled my order and shipped me the product. Service was top notch. I would definitely do it all over again. read more

What an amazing experience my wife and I had with the Lumber Liquidators in Chantilly, VA. We went to 4 other locations and this was by far the best customer service in all 5 locations. It was a long complicated process to find the right floors and color for our new project. It seemed the staff in the Chantilly store was more knowledgable and committed to taking care of there customers. This store seemed to be the busiest out of the 4 other locations we went to, and the most assertive throughout our complicated process. The pricing was amazing as well as the delivery home service we paid for. The product wasn't available in the store so we patiently waited for less than a week, after the anticipation of 2 weeks. Overall, I would recommend Lumber Liquidators in Chantilly, VA to all my family and friends. Thank you all for your help!!! read more

STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY! Lumber Liquidators should be called "Sell and Screw your Customer." In the Spring we went to Lumber Liquidators with my pregnant wife to purchase wood floors for our apartment. They assured us that the thickness of the wood allowed us to install it via nail gun on concrete in a high rise apartment. I requested that our sales people check with his manager and he also assured us that we would be able to install this on concrete in a high rise. We purchased the wood, and brought it all home. We called three of our own installers and three of them stated that, this materially false and would not install it via glue given that it would not last very long. We took it back to Lumber Liquidators, and they charged us a 20% restocking fee for over $500.00. They charged me misinforming me and lying about it after the face, and changing the story that I can install it with glue that they only sell. Gluing it down was never part of the conversation, had it been I would have bought it from them. I do not know what type of management allows this type of behavior in a public company. I would recommend that you stay as far as you can from Lumber Liquidators. They have no integrity and entrap you in a contact that is design to protect them against the customer. There are so many better companies out there that we will never do business with them ever again! read more
