Home Goods is a home decor chain that's a sister company to TJMaxx and Marshall's. There's home furnishings galore AND it's dog friendly! Every aisle is organized well and with COVID, there's signage to direct your path for social distancing purposes. I've found a good amount of decor and kitchen necessities for my home here, in addition to a variety of dog treats and accessories. The staff has always been friendly at this location. Unfortunately for my husband, 1) This location is fairly close to home, 2) It's right next to Michael's, and 3) I have ample space in my SUV for all of my shopping. read more

Where is all the Halloween stuff??!! They have one raggedy isle. And it's not getting better. Dnt waste your time

saw a piece of furniture I liked, but there was no price tag on it. One of the staff members was looking at it, so I asked her how much it was. She told me $450. Five minutes later, we saw a price tag on it that said $25. When we went to the cashier, we found the same girl (who told us $450) buying it for herself. We told the manager, and he said, "I can't stop anyone from buying something from the store." But the issue is -- she works there and she lied to us. read more

I'm really disappointed by the way I was disrespectfully treated when I called to ask about the Hello Kitty Halloween blankets. I was very polite and just trying to get clarification on some information, but the employee I spoke to was incredibly rude and dismissive. As I tried to clarify my question, instead of helping, she became increasingly frustrated, raising her voice with attitude, and then hung up on me. Rather than making any effort to understand or assist, or passing me to someone else, she chose to respond with attitude and hang up. This experience was really upsetting--no customer should be treated this way, especially when they're just trying to find something special for their child. read more

I love HomeGoods, it's my go to store for decor pieces when I'm in the mood to redecorate my house. One of my fav furniture bought at this store is the Tommy Hilfiger side table. It has taken a beating from my kids over the years and only shows very minimal wear and tear. I recently purchased 2 8x10 rugs which I absolutely love but ended up returning. I only had it laid out for a few days and it blanketed my whole house with fuzz. I vacuumed twice a day, both times filled the canister with unbelievable amount of fuzz. For 299.00 a piece I expected better quality. I'll be back for Spring items but will stay away from the rug section. read more

This store was fully stocked for Christmas. The inventory was a bit overwhelming. It looked like Santa had thrown up all over the store. There were almost too many items. There were wonderful Christmas tree items, candles and decorations from all over the world. You could even purchase a giant mailbox intended for the North Pole for over $200. There were creative and unique Christmas cards and unique decorations. There was an entire aisle dedicated to fun coats and costumes for dogs or cats. If you needed to store items, there were all types of decorative baskets and storage containers. I found a cute scrub brush with a cow on it. There were so many items to look at. Home Goods is a home-decor chain that stocks a variety of furnishings, bedding, kitchenware, tableware, holiday stuff & more! I love to roam the crowded aisles in search of deeply discounted designer brands, cute dishes, pillows and that occasional unique, room changing home decor find!! Although the store is a bit cluttered, the aisles are reasonably laid-out and most things can be seen on the displays without major digging. Prices just can't be beat and you can acquire some real bargains if you're willing to look and to shop out of season. Some great things to find here: rugs and carpets, table linens, seasonal plates, Riedel wine glasses, holiday decor (especially Halloween--this store has a broad selection of unique items!), and wall art! There is also a selection of bedding that's hit or miss "sometimesy" (but the Route 7 Homegoods is actually better for bedding IMHO). read more

Part of TJX, along with Marshall's, Sierra and TJMaxx, Hone Goods is the corporation's retail offering that focuses on furniture, decor, and kitchen items as well as some gourmet snacks and gift wrap. The departments are well organized from kitchen, bath, storage and furniture departments. I have found LeCreuset and AllClad at discounted prices in the kitchen department, a good selection of picture frames that are more unique than the craft store, and many other items on my visits to Home Goods. The only issue that I have, and it's the same across all TKX companies is the lines can be long when the store is busy and cashier staffing does not match the number of available registers. The staff are friendly, however, so it's not a staffing issue, rather a forecasting busy times issue when there are only three registers open and ten people on line. The store sells chairs and other small cabinets and such insofar as furniture, but it's and edited collection of mass produced prevailing tend furniture, not especially higher quality furniture that will last for generations. read more

1. Location: Big sign, big building - you can't miss it. It is located in the Fair Lakes Shopping Center with a lot of other stores. The entire Fair Lakes Shopping Center has ample parkings, so do not worry about tight spaces. 2. Cleanliness: The staffs are always on the floor putting things away. They try their hardest to keep the place clean. It is really nice and neat, despite having so many products displayed throughout the entire store. 3. Service/Products: HomeGoods provides a lot of home decor and supplies. They have almost anything you can think of relating to the home. Ever since I had moved to the area, I had visited this place many times. The staffs are always nice and friendly. They are consistent in doing so. Kennedy, the manager, goes above and beyond for his customers. I see the way he communicates to his staffs and he seems to be nice and is a problem solver for his team and his customers. I wanted to buy a small clear table, but there was a red mark on it. Kennedy and his staff took the mark right off for me. I appreciate them and their service. 4. Costs: The pricing is affordable. Imagine a discounted place for products related to the home. An item that is usually marked at a high price will be greatly reduced and discounted at HomeGoods. The items are very nice, new and good quality. 5. Overall experience: Always a good experience at this place. I can always count on Kennedy and his team to deliver some of the best customer service. I always walk away from this place with items to bring home. There are so many good deals for what is being offered at this store. Side Notes: There is a spot at the front of the store that you can back into to be close to the door of the store in order to load the items into your car. read more

Home Goods is like a clean version of a flea market. I say flea market because it's just random home goods cluttered and semi-organized on shelves. It is like it's parent company TJ Maxx but just selling home goods and not clothing. You are able to find a general departments like kitchenware, china, rugs, bedding, bathroom, garden, etc. fairly easy. But once you get to these general departments you have to be ready to start the recon mission to find the item you want. Hopefully you do have an idea of what you want when you get there, to shorten the duration of your trip. I have only been to Home Goods in search of kitchen tools and or looking for a new serving plate. I do recommend inspecting items before purchase for any dings, scratches, or chipped corner or paint. read more

Oh HomeGoods, I love you so! HomeGoods holds a special place in my shopping heart. It is such an awesome place to find a WIDE variety of items for your home as well as so many other things you most likely don't need but want to have! Whether you're looking for new dish ware, funky glasses, dry snacks galore, bed/bath items, art, stationary, or something else, you're bound to find it here. I got an amazing unique lamp once that I'm consistently getting compliments on. If you're a candle fan like me, you'll have fun going through the great selection. You'll always be able to find a ton of great holiday decorations no matter the time of year. Also if you're looking for a random but awesome piece of furniture or rug, take a look here! I often find myself at this Fair Lakes location and overall find the staff helpful and friendly. If you go to the store towards the end of the day, prepare yourself for a huge mess in some of the aisles though. Home Goods, in general, is a delight for the home decorator. Whether looking to spruce up your Christmas tree or adding a lamp to your living room, Home Goods offers a wealth of beautiful options. This particular location is great for being very orderly, having constantly updated wares, and being easy to get to. My personal favorites: Serving ware Cocktail napkins (great for events) Gift bags (very pretty and usually come in a set) Towels Blankets and throws Kitchen accessories (pig egg beater :)) The floral displays and wall accents are also worth checking out. When I'm ready to go ottoman shopping, Home Goods will probably be one of the first places I hit up. Armchairs and small chaises can also be had here for very affordable prices. I noticed while furniture shopping that armchairs almost never matched the rest of the living room sets, so save yourself some money and get your armchair here instead. If you see my Ross review, you'll know that I actually prefer the Burke Ross to all Home Goods combined; however, Home Goods is better option if you don't want to deal with Ross's long lines or the crowds who pile into the store for everything else. read more

Miscellaneous furniture Prints, mirrors and pictures Rugs, carpets Lamps Kitchen ware including decorative Bedding Floral and garden items A dizzying array of home decor items covering every genre The service is spotty. But, you are here for the price not the service and some of the help can be especially cordial if they are so inclined. I have found many a household item here to fit that one difficult spot and you will always see that item that you want really badly but have no where to display. I once saw a nice wooden full size canoe for $700. I knew that it cost a lot more and was a steal. However, I declined. Some of the items and name brands are of very high quality and at a comparative rock bottom price. In today's home decor stores there is a dearth of invigorating edgy choices. I guess the soccer mom set is so enthused with Pottery Barn and other similar brand names that innovation is overlooked for the cause of name and look. I suppose this scenario fits right in with most of the home style movements over the years. However, if you really need that bust of Mozart or Ceasar, or the patina tin race car, or that really cool hideaway bar then Home Goods is you store. At these prices you can pick up two or three items that would have cost five times as much at the Pottery Barn. Style, quality and originality for less at Home Goods. read more

The selection here is typically vast and there are some upscale brands to be found -- Le Creuset, Lenox, Waterford, etc. This is always a great place to find nicknacks and holiday decorations. My issue with this location is the customer service. I've had issues with the loyalty card -- make sure you give it to the cashier as soon as you get to the register, because they say that the can't apply points after you've started your transaction or if you've already swiped your credit card. I used to love this store but they have clearly changed buyers and focus. Instead of classic and high-end brands there is now a bewildering welter of junk, much of it damaged. The store actually ruins merchandise by slapping price stickers on places that are damaged when you remove the sticker. Used to be my go to place for bedding, home decor, etc but not so much anymore. read more
