I have visited many similar stores throughout PA and MD and have never encountered this phenomenon elsewhere.

Which is exactly why I was so pleased to find the newly opened Nature Composed shop on the ground floor of the Middleburg Events Studio. If you like #basic flowers than this shop is not for you -- they work with local farmers to provide in season blooms that are arranged in a loose, flowy, artful way. Like it was just picked from a field! What really caught my eye was all of their terrariums placed in vintage containers all over the store. I literally ran from corner to corner exclaiming with glee and joy and asking tons of annoying questions along the way. The florist never lost patience with me and carefully explained all of the items they had in stock and also let me know about future workshops and fun things they have coming for the spring time. I went home the proud owner of a mounted staghorn fern (pricing on par to what I've seen on Etsy but I was happy to be able to inspect and choose in person) and ideas on how I want to decorate my home.
