First of all, its located in a house - so you might miss the place at first glance as you are driving by. The first floor is almost all women's handbag's, jewelry, and such - which surprised me as I was expecting home decor stuff. Most of the home decor stuff is on the second floor, strewn throughout several different rooms. It's a collection of styles that are more ornate than my more modern taste - an eclectic mix of country and other styles. The fact that places like this still exist as a foil to the chains is a good and cool thing. I did not find anything that sang to me - but I'm gonna have to send my Mom here - she would love this place!

When I moved out of state in 2021 I asked for their help again with the entire first floor and one of the bedrooms in my new home. They helped me figure out how best to reuse what we selected for my old living room, as well as furnish a dining room and sitting room, make efficient use of a garage that had been converted to a bonus room, and select flooring and wall colors throughout. We bought a full living room set, couch, love seat, two wing chairs all with sunbrella covers…read more Right away a chair broke and they came to fix it as it was under warranty. Ok, but that chair ended up with a permanently bent leg soon after. Now the back of the couch is badly bowed in so that the cushions can't line up. We are gentle with our furniture and fussy about them, so this surprised me! Also the Sunbrella cushions are water stained. Did they even put the correct covers on? How can they stain when I wash them??? I thought La-z-boy was supposed to be quality- now I know they're just expensive.

After spending a significant amount of money on furniture, I received an incomplete shipment, the rug that I had purchased was not included in the shipment. I specifically told the sales rep that I did not want to take the rug with me and that I wanted it delivered with the furniture. When I called in inquire about the missing item, I was not only met with dismissive behavior from the staff, but was told that the rep was on the floor and too busy to talk to me, she had other customers. When I spoke with the rep today (I had to escalate to get a response, no one called me back the next day), she told me she was not even there that day. The rep was also defensive instead of exhibiting professional customer service behavior. I do want to commend the delivery team, they were courteous and professional, and I appreciate their service. However, the sales and follow-up was extremely disappointing. When I tried to share my frustration with any of the staff, they began to be defensive and did not listen to my concerns. Now I have to take another day out of my schedule for another delivery. The clear message is that the customer is not important and just has to deal with this type of service, which is unfortunate.

Probably the best thing you can say about our original furniture is that it was eclectic. More truthfully, it simply didn't really look that great, pretty much a "before" project on what you'd see on HGTV. Once Vanessa and Michelle got through with it, the interior of the house was totally transformed. The first step was Vanessa came through the house with her contractor, Arlin, and recommended changes to be made, including updating ceiling fans, light fixtures, installing recessed lights, etc. We didn't do everything she recommended but we did most. Vanessa coordinated all of the contracting work done by Arlin and his team, and provided all the quotes. The prices for the various jobs were very competitive, generally cheaper than other estimates I received from other contractors. The bottom line is that the results speak for themselves. We received multiple offers and sold the house for $110K over list within 5 days for the highest price ever sold in our neighborhood. I couldn't have asked for much more than that.
