This store is amazing. I can't believe it's been around 13 years and I never knew it. I accidentally came on the day of the sidewalk sale. Unbelievably good clothes for $5 each. The clothes inside equally amazing and surprisingly affordable. Lots of famous brands and really high quality clothing in a variety of sizes. They don't have fitting rooms which I was at first not happy about, but as it turns out everyone just changes in front of the mirrors in a back corner. It was the most fun communal shopping experience I've ever had, getting feedback on everything I tried on. This is my go-to shop for dance clothes and work clothes from here on out. read more

This specialty thrift store has the best sizing selection of women's clothes I have seen in a thrift shop. Ample jackets, sweaters, shirts, and jeans. One can save oneself an unnecessary drive if looking for men's or kid's clothing though. There are leather jackets in good condition here. I woke up in the mood to go on a thrifting adventure and decided to take a peek at stores local to me and discovered that N'Used was literally tucked in the same development as my favorite coffee shop, YAY! Before you even enter you notice that the entire establishment is a vibe and you get excited to explore just based upon the decor and bright colors! This is technically a consignment shop (& not a thrift store) so you are in for a treat when it comes to scoring rare and name brand clothing items, but just be prepared to spend a bit more because of that. I overheard the associates informing customers that they take in merchandise by appointment only so I figured I would leave that morsel of information here just in case anyone was wondering. I found so many high quality unique items to add to my wardrobe and to take on my upcoming vacation that I was over the moon! I can't say enough good things about this store. The staff is super friendly, helpful and most importantly they remember their customers names! I started consigning here about a year ago, because I had clothes that were a little nicer than what I'd take elsewhere. Their cosigning model is very fair, and it's always fun to get a little extra money to either take home or use the store (you get a discount for using your consignor balance). I love this store. Lately I've been on a binge to add to my belt collection and have scored four in a row that I love. I like belts that are unique and don't cost a fortune, meaning $40 and up. They consign brand name belts of various designs and colors that I love and price them reasonably. I also am always on the hunt for casual, comfortable, but classy looking everyday dresses. I'm probably unusual in this, lol. I've found my last two favorite ones at N'Used, plus lots of blouses I love to wear with everything from jeans to formal occassions. The owners at N'Used are amazing. They have excellent taste and an eye for fashion, vintage, current, and trends to come. I've found them easy to consign with and as a consignor I appreciate their courtesy, diplomacy, business savvy, and friendliness. They are a jewel in our area, seriously lucky to have. I have been shopping here for several years and have gotten to know the staff very well. They are attentive, helpful, knowledgeable, and fun! Just ran across this place in a lot driving through and stopped to check it out because I love consignment and thrift stores. They were clean, had distancing guidelines, and had antibacterial to use if wanted. They also have the sweetest dog that wanders and loves on you while you browse, which, I know, is unrelated to their products, but, trust me, it's a nice experience. They have a fairly big selection in ranges of regular consignment, half price, and $5 racks. They had a pretty large $5 selection. However, my only downside is that the type of section wasn't varied as much as far as brand or style, so I didn't find a lot. I was happy with their service, the dog (honestly, just go to see the dog--so big and cuddly), and the safety during COVID. Overall, I found some earrings and a top and would probably go back to browse again some other time. Worth checking out for sure. read more

I love this store! First of all, the owners are so friendly and they helped me find the perfect dresses and skirts. They also have the cutest 'guard' dog in the front of the store. I found my homecoming dress, a few new skirts, a summer dress, and a dress that I will be wearing to my cousin's wedding (cocktail style dress) all for $50. I didn't read all the reviews so I thought this place was a thrift store. ahahahahaha...no. I honestly did not stay long because I am *definitely* not a high-class type of customer - my clothes and purses comes from Target. HOWEVER, if you want high-class items without paying high-class prices, I totally recommend this place. It's clean, it's organized, the items looked great and the lady behind the counter was friendly. I was totally a fish out of water, but nobody looks at me like I was some type of alien. I found a Valentino top(gorgeous) , really didnt want to pay the asking price, the manager asked me if she could have my phone number , asking the original consigner if she would be willing to sell it for less. I never expected to hear from her. But then, i did! I paid for it over the phone, and she even made an extra trip on her time away from the store to get it shipped to me! NOW THAT IS SERVICE!! Good job ladies!! I have been to a couple of other Consignment businesses and I was truly disappointed, as you could read from my reviews. I really like the concept of N'Used - part of the inventory is used, and part of it is new. It's fun to mix and match different pieces, especially if you pair something modern and fresh along with something older and from another era. Plus, the staff here is so friendly and helpful! When you go to consignment shops, available items are basically a function of the type of person living in that area. I must say, the people living around N'Used have really great style! There is wonderful variety from clothes to accessories to jewelry. I love how the store is clean and organized; items aren't randomly placed all over. The pricing is overall pretty good, although I've seen a few items that were, in my humble opinion, overpriced. It's cool that the clothing tags include arrival dates. It definitely depends on what you are looking for to decide whether or not this place suits your needs. During a random search, I was able to find a great short-sleeved sweater for less than $20. I saw other cool items to try on (the fitting rooms are nice) but they didn't fit well. Even still, I'll be back. Bottom line: this is a great consignment shop for your clothing and accessory needs! To the ladies who recently left less-than-stellar reviews, I'm afraid you may have inadvertently stumbled into the wrong storefront. The N'Used I have come to know and love is nothing like the one you describe. My N'used is a veritable, extraordinary, cornucopia of good taste for all ages, all sizes, and all budgets. On more than one occasion, the owner Rosemary and her wonderful staff have exceeded my expectations with their kindness and thoughtfulness--and good fashion. The first thing I ever saw in the store was a navy Chanel wool military-style dress with gold tone buttons that was out of my budget. Of course...I had to try it. When Rosemary saw how much I loved the classic piece, she lowered the asking price to within my price range. I double dare you to ask another consignment store in the DMV to do that for you, let alone for them to offer. If numbers somehow matter, I am a former commercial print model in my mid-20's and sized 2-4. My hauls have included low-end staples to high-end treats, from brands like Banana Republic, Free People, Theory, Maje, Max Mara, and Emporio Armani. Each piece has been more than reasonably priced, and in the best condition possible. In the unlikely event that there is an issue with a piece of clothing, the staff is more than happy to assist. The impeccable condition of the consigned clothes is something I can attest to from the other end, as one of the many consigners of the store. I once have brought a pair Robert Rodriguez tan pants in, not noticing that there was a small snag in the backside. I hadn't seen it...because I normally don't take a microscope to my own backside. Rosemary's staff pointed this out to me, and politely rejected the item because the wider cut of the leg does not sell well. All valid points. To Rosemary, Melissa, Sheila, Linda, Hewey and Peanut (the store mascots), I want to express my thanks for your help and your positive energy. I went there once when I was exploring the neighborhood. The owner (I think she is) is very friendly and they do have designer bags. The price is quite reasonable. The staff here is fabulous! I was new to the consignment process and Rosemary and Linda walked me through it. I like that new items are coming in all season. In addition, if your items don't sell you can pick them up or have them donated to a local charity that supports women. From a customer service standpoint, the staff always greets you as you walk in and they are so helpful if in search of a particular item. After losing a ton of weight, I was in search of a gala dress. Rosemary saw me looking helpless and knew immediately that the perfect dress in my size was on the rack. I walked out with a gorgeous David Meister black dress and sparkly Stuart Weitzman shoes - all a hit at the event! Most recently, I scored a Nanette Lepore jacket for $80. Love it! I stopped in just to browse - I had nothing in particular that I wanted - and scored a pair of tory burch brand new wedges for $100. I actually changed my shoes in the car to wear them immediately after leaving. I really like how the store is organized. I stopped by after work one day randomly and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of items they had to offer and how very organized everything was. Managed to grab a top at 50% off which brought my tab down to $9 for a like new j crew work top. I am not impressed with this place. I find that most items are OVER priced and they sell out of style items. I didn't find too many things that are my style or my size. If you like to get high-end clothes and accessories for good prices this is your place! As a shopper, I get compliments and asked "where did you find that!" ALL the time. Finds include Hunter rainboots, boho sundresses, and a Kate Spade bag. All pristine and gorgeous! As a consigner, it's a 50/50 split and prices are set at fair values. When an item doesn't sell you have the opportunity to pick it back up. I've made some good cash here! read more

There were some nice name and designer brands, however the prices are ridiculous. While there are good names, a lot of the clothing is outdated. I saw a pair of completely worn out and basically unwearable Tory Burch heels for around $100. They had a pair of Gucci sunglasses with scratches on the lenses for $125.....you can buy the same pair brand new for that price! Used Lilly Pulitzer t-shirts for $28. I just can't believe the prices they are charging for consigned items. However, the staff is really nice and the dog that hangs out in the store is nice. Also, the store is very clean. BEWARE! My initial consignment appointment/experience with this shop was positive, BUT the only way to drop off items after that and be sure you receive a receipt and acknowledgement of your items is by appointment. Unfortunately, appointments are made for about three months out which is a Catch 22, since by then your items are often out of season and will be rejected. To drop off items without waiting three months for an appointment, they refuse to give you an itemized receipt of the items dropped off so you have no proof of what you entrusted to them. I dropped off three expensive jackets and a designer purse which they now claim that they did not receive. These items could be somewhere in the store, could have already been sold without being attributed to my account, or they could have been removed from the store without ever being logged in. So my items have vanished and because I stupidly accepted their no itemized receipt policy, I have no recourse. There is no protection for the consignee!!! Avoid this shop! read more
