Loft has lovely clothes and I saw this store, that I had never shopped at. So, I had to take a peek. They have beautiful clothes and the service was great. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and offered assistance. I looked through the petite section and didn't find anything. But, I will definitely be back, if I am in the area. I hope that they can add more clothing to the petite section. The prices were a little higher than I expected. But, that is because the clothes weren't on sale yet. I am sure that is because we are changing seasons. Back to school sales will start soon. : ) read more

I'm shocked to read that several years ago the customer service was bad because to this day it still is. I went in twice in one week and both times not one person acknowledged I existed. And what bothers me is I could hear them say hello when others walked in. I tried on some clothes and as I was hanging up what I didn't want one of the workers walked right past me like I didn't exist. I did end up buying something and point blank asked the lady why nobody acknowledges my presence in the store. She turned bright red, told me she was in the bathroom (I was in the store for at least 20 min but wasn't going to argue about how long she used a bathroom..) and instead of apologizing and saying that they will do better next time she just handed me my receipt and said have a good weekend. Negative reviews must be for long gone employee! The staff there now are more than helpful, but not pushy. They are friendly, kind, polite and one of the reasons I love to shop this store. Give it another chance - The inferior staff have moved on!! The selection is great, and they have a really good petite section and sale section. Love this store! read more

INCREDIBLY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE I've experienced very rude customer service from this store sometimes, especially from the older associates. They act like customers are bothering them. Merchandise is limited in sizes. Better to go there to look at the clothes in person and then order online. I will not buy anything from this store. read more

This is a no judgement zone right? I like this location for a few reasons. The location is good, at the end of the shopping center and located right next to Starbucks and Total Wine, win-win. My fondness for this location stems from the clearance rack has never let me down. I have always been able to find something on the rack, no matter what, whenever I come for whatever reason. The major turn off, is the customer service. There is none. Like not even a little bit. There were three associates on the store. Out of three people you would think one of them would acknowledge your presence. Negative. The simple fact that they act like you are invisible as you walk around the store is a major turn off. It is actually the reason I stopped coming here years ago, so its a shame to see that nothing has changed. It is unfortunate too because the selection is always so good here. read more

Between the manager (short blond and critical) and the staff, this must be the rudest store that I have ever attended. No one wants to answer your questions and when they do, it is in "are you that stupid and irritating" type of tone. Each and every time. It's gotten to the point, that I haven't bought anything in four years from them and only walk in to kill time while my husband is getting coffee from the nearby Starbucks. This store consistently has terrible customer service. From being incredibly rude to being annoyed when asked for assistance. If they do have a friendly and responsive sales person, you can pretty much guarantee they won't be there the next time you come in. It's also obvious that they prefer a size 0 or 00 clientele. I was there on a Friday afternoon, when everything was all stocked for the weekend, and 80% of what was on the racks was size 6 and below. I hate going to this location, but I do so for convenience. I will say it is almost always an unpleasant shopping experience. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews regarding the customer service at this store. I have shopped here consistently since the 2000s and have never had a bad experience. The sales associates have always been helpful and courteous. The store has a nice selection of clothing, and if an item is not available at the store, a sales associate will be happy to order it and have it shipped free of charge to your home. The store is well organized, clean, and inviting. Today's visit to the store was no exception. The manager, Grace, and both sales associates were very helpful, competent and pleasant. One sales associate made numerous trips outside the dressing room to find me the right size clothing and offered encouraging advice. My final sales transaction was complicated, purchasing one item in the store and another online. The manager and sales associate ensured that I got all discounts offered even though it was a split sale. All around a great shopping experience! read more

Another Loft store lacking attention to customers! Can someone please train these workers properly to greet people and at least have a smile on your face. Every time I go to this store, sales folks are rude and unaccommodating as many of the other reviews reflect. The other day I walked here during lunch. They have many things not made in China. Yay. I scored an $80 blazer for $20. Double yay. The cashier looked at me like I was crazy when I expressed joy at finding not-made-in-China stuff there. Their clothes aren't very exciting though. Un-yay. read more

Although I am a long-time Loft shopper and generally like the chain, this location had the worst customer service I've experienced anywhere. Both times I've shopped here I've been completely ignored. At other Loft stores, when you have even a few items in your arms, they are quick to ask if you would like a fitting room started. Loft is my favorite store, and I frequently shop at the Reston location. The style of clothes is perfect for the office and weekends. With their sales, you can't beat the quality for the price. I have never had an issue with the sales associates. They are always more than willing to answer questions, accept returns, and order out-ofstock items online. It's amazing how different the clothes range between the Loft outlet and the Loft store. The Loft outlet has twice as many colorful clothes and better prices (yes I understand it is an outlet) but even the sizes are different between the stores. The Loft store has very bland colors and clothes that are so simple and plain it baffles me why they are priced the way they are. I have found the best luck with sundresses from this summer and wear them every week. read more

I have shopped at loft, and this specific store l, for years but will never return to this store again. I went today to return some items I bought online and the sales woman was incredibly condescending to me. She picked up every piece of clothing w two fingers like she didn't want to touch it, looked each item up and down with a nasty look on her face like I had done something to the clothing. It was the weirdest and strangest experience returning clothes. She also refused to let me return something and just said it was stained, when it was just some fuzz or something that immediately went away once I brushed it off. The whole thing was so rude and I should have said something but I just ran out. I will never go back if that is how they treat customers. read more

This location is my favorite in the area. The managers and associates are always so helpful! About a week ago I went in looking for a pair of jeans. I had gained a little weight since the last time I bought jeans and wasn't feeling too confident. After hearing my concerns, one of the associates, took the time to find every pair of jeans in the store she thought would fit the best on me and ended up helping me find 2 pairs that made me feel great! I recently purchased a bunch of tops at Loft-Reston. When I got them home, and took a couple on a trip, I realized they were shapeless--disappointed with quality. I had already removed the tag and even washed one of them. I returned several, using the one receipt I still had after recent purchases. This was clearly not a normal return but the sales associates managed with a solid service attitude. I also noticed that while other Anne Taylor tees I have are straight-hemmed, the new nice prints I bought have longer tapered hems. I'm shortening and straightening them which is tedious. Worst store I've ever been too ! Went today literally for 10 mins I lost my keeps so I go around to see the two places I had looked for clothing . Nothing so I go to the front desk to pay for my items and ask her btw has anyone found car keys she's like no but I hope you find it. And when I was looking I thought to myself seems strange the someone would just take me keys. When I went to look at the last place I was at the girl is like I just fixed that it's not there . People I was there for an hour looking for it . Until my sister asked again for the keys the other associate was like oh yeah I have it someone found it . I was wondering when you were coming back . And the girl I actually asked was like oh I thought it was your keys to the other associate! Are you freaking kidding me . You were on your stupid phone texting the whole time I was looking for it and saying oh we're busy . You're the worst !!! Can't believe you couldn't just ask your co worker in the first place. I have been shopping at this loft for well over 10 years. I love this store. I totally disagree with the negative posts and feel that they are unfair. Retail is not an easy job for very little pay. The expectations and demands that some customers have are ridiculous. If you are open and friendly, in most cases you'll be received that way. There are exceptional bad situations. Most people that review on Yelp, unfortunately, are the negative experiences. You're shopping at the LOFT, not Nordstrom or SAKS where they pay their employees better and provide the ultimate customer service for those who pay premium prices. The reason Loft clothes are affordable is that they keep costs down by not paying employees. A few tips, dont shop when store is closing, dont return worn clothes, dont expect to return items after 30 days. Clean up after yourself, its disrepectful to leave clothes on floor and in fitting room. read more

Among all the Ann Taylor's in the area, this is historically the worst for service and selection. I had a simple return and was treated like a thief by the older woman in the store; thin, over-processed blonde. I've seen her be snarky in the past to other shoppers as well.
