This location is less than a mile from my house, very convenient and has plenty of parking available even on weekends. Even though this is not my fav Nordstrom Rack, (San Marcos, Ca. location has better shoe selection) I found my best deals here by far. Im super petite and tiny everywhere. I wear either a size 00, 0, XXS or XS depending on brand and fit in a size 4 or 4.5 shoes. Being tiny, it's hard to shop for clothes that fits me perfect outside of kids section. I find that I either pay full retail price or get really lucky with highly discounted odd size shoes or clothing regardless of the store I go to. So when I need a wardrobe update, I'll spend hours at NR and comb through the racks carefully if I want to find really high end brand name pieces for super low prices. Last time I went looking for a dress to wear to my brothers wedding in July, I found a super pretty floral dress for NOTHING!!! Original price was 172 on sale for 20 and I had a 40 dollar note sitting in my rewards account, so I paid zero for it... score!!! I've also gotten a blouse for a penny lol... say wha??? How is that even possible? Best deals to date: - Stuart Weiztman riding boots: paid 10.00 original price was 410.00 - Stuart Weiztman kitten heels suepump: paid 17.00 original price 199.00 - Ted Baker pink cocktail dress: 99.72 original price 1695.00 Above are just my fav buys, I've gotten really awesome finds and some of my fav treasured pieces at this store. Brands I love that I often find in this location are Stella McCarthy, SW Nudistsong (I have 4 pairs of different colors), Theory, Ted Baker, Bailey 44, lots and lots of Splendid, Via Spiga, Reformation and Badgley and Mischka shoes. The opportunity presented itself a couple weeks ago, and they did not disappoint. I needed a tux for a wedding downtown, so I figured I would give WT a spin. Todd was very responsive via email and phone once I filled out the form, and he did some juggling to keep my appointment when I needed it. Upon arrival, he took great measurements and helped me select a fantastic tux. The tux arrived promptly and was easy to pick up and return. It was also of a fantastic quality that I received many compliments on. While returning my tux, Todd complimented the coat that I was wearing. The coat happened to be new and was in need of sleeve alterations. Todd said that he could easily take care of that. He did so to my great satisfaction in a reasonable turnaround at a price that was fantastic. TL;DR-- go see WT if you want great service and a great selection of tuxedos or other custom attire. When I came in for the return, she didn't seem happy about it--even though it was still within the return window, the tags were still on, and there was no sign of the items having been worn or taken out of the bag. At first she was looking for an expiration date on the receipt. Once she saw it was still within the time limit, she started processing the return. The items were on multiple receipts, so she said she would do it as one transaction and that I should return everything at once. Up to that point I had no issue; I returned the items. As I was about to walk out of the store, I had a feeling that the amount I received didn't match what I had originally paid. This had happened to me before at the same store--items had gone on sale and they refunded the sale price instead of what I actually paid. I caught it in time last time and got my full money back. So I went back to the line to double-check. I understand it was Saturday around 3 p.m. and the employees were tired. I waited for her to finish with the customer she was helping, then politely explained that I felt this might have happened again and asked if we could verify that the refund matched my receipt exactly. Before calling the manager, she started recording our conversation on her phone without my knowledge. That part was super creepy. Then a manager (a guy with a gold ring in his nose) came over. I explained politely again what I was concerned about, and he said they had paid me the same amount that was on my receipt. I was so annoyed that they had been recording me without my consent that I decided to just leave and double-check the numbers at home. Luckily, everything was correct this time. But I will not go back and deal with that rude cashier or manager again. They've got zero in customer care!

The problem with Vans shoes, is that they don't last long. Their prices have gone up significantly. If quality showed, I'd be sort of okay with that. I'm trying on the hat..and this asian girl walks past the mirror and smiles at me, I politely smile back and IMMEDIATELY turn around! It's my girlfriend and she works there. Funny thing is, she still hadn't recognized me because of my 10 inches shorter hairstyle and with the straw hat on! She just started when the store opened and she's the store's only personal shopper! What a small world! She was working with a bunch of customers and picking out cute items. The store is already slightly starting to get messy though and I can't say this is one of my favorite Jcrew stores yet, but I'll give them some time to get their stuff together :) definitely going back to visit my friend though!
