When they moved to McLean earlier this year, I went with about 20 items to put up for consignment. (I had made appointment as they require.) I brought in beautiful clothes, in excellent condition. I couldn't believe the downgrade in the clothing; while the quality was fine, I did not see anything stylish for sale. I was not even tempted to try anything on. After about 20 minutes the owner comes back and says she cannot take any of my items, although she would consider one in the fall (it was a spring/summer item, as were all the pieces, as this took place in mid-Spring) and I "could come back in a few months." Super dismissive and arrogant. The one good thing was the friendly young man at the counter, who I chatted with while I waited. I see the positive reviews here are years old, so here's an update: NTY management is just as or even more snobby now, the prices are even higher -- not just because of time passing but also likely the expensive location -- and they don't even have cool clothes any more.
