The clothes inside equally amazing and surprisingly affordable. Lots of famous brands and really high quality clothing in a variety of sizes. They don't have fitting rooms which I was at first not happy about, but as it turns out everyone just changes in front of the mirrors in a back corner. It was the most fun communal shopping experience I've ever had, getting feedback on everything I tried on. This is my go-to shop for dance clothes and work clothes from here on out.

The other was almost micromanaging where I was looking (not much space to walk anyways). They had clothes all over the walkway and just staring at me as I was trying to get thru to go look at the dish section. I wasn't sure if that was an area open to customers, I clearly looked confused. Neither were helping me, just looking at me like I'm in the wrong area haha. Anyways, I asked if they were open or if I was able to squeeze by. She says, "yes we are open, there was no one here so that's why we're doing this". No one is in any hurry to move anything out of the way so I can walk by... it was just a massive pile. She then just shoves it all to the side with her foot and the one lady just looks annoyed and points me to walk thru quickly.... I'm just confused with this whole situation. I've never been to a store where they acted this way. I won't be back because of this weird interaction, just made me feel unwelcome. I've picked great, reasonably priced clothing for work (LL Bean/GAP/Talbots etc) mostly separates and the occasional dress) and items like a Tiffany sunglasses case, two gemstone necklaces, a pair of Cole Haan loafers a few men's polos for my son. Great selection of Halloween costumes, Xmas decor - in season - and pieces of unique/quality china and serving dishes, even a solid wood side table for $40. I didn't find any deals there and didn't want any of those items. Regular prices items were great finds. I got clay pots for plants $1 each. A new puzzle box still sealed for $4. An oracle deck in mint condition for $2. A large black velvet scarf for $2. Paperback books for 50 cents. A travel jewelry case for $2. They were all in good condition or new. The parking lot can be overcrowded due to the Islamic Center of worship beside it. Traffic can be very busy there as well. People looking for designer deals may not like this place, because they price them at fair not low prices. Book prices are the best at this thrift store if you like buying books. Vintage & collector books are priced fairly and NOT at a low price. This is a place I would consider going to again for plant pots and the books, as well as the baked bread. I knew I was going in 15 minutes before closing but I was going to honor the time. I work retail and have worked thrift stores so I know what it's like to want to leave on time. I was not greeted with a hello or hi. I was greeted with a very curt and rude "we close in 15 minutes". Fine. Whatever. But within the next five minutes I got 2 more time reminders. At this point my kid had stuff she wanted but it did not meet the $5 minimum sale requirement for debit/credit. So I was trying to find something else quickly so we could go. However I wasnt going to buy something just to buy it and toss it. That's wasteful. It was still 10 minutes before close and they were just staring at me. I told my kid that we would just come back and get stuff another day. The lady with the short red hair said very loudly "sorry kiddo mom doesn't have any money". Which let me tell you pissed me off. I had the money and consistently spend $25-$50 a trip when they have a fully stocked store. I just couldn't find enough junk to meet their minimum this time. Also I find that to be incredibly rude and insensitive since their whole organization is to help people in poverty. I mean, I've waited in line while customers have counted out pennies to fill the gap of what their lcac vouchers wont cover. So way to be incredibly insensitive on top of rude. Theres no excuse for that. I just walked out at that point. Took a few weeks before I came back in because I was so upset. This time I came in with two big boxes of donations because I was tired of trying to sell stuff online. Two big boxes of name brand plus size clothes - some with tags. I got zero help as well as zero hello or hi or anything. No hey can we hold the door for you? No can we help? No thank you. Nothing At this point I dont know if they are just assuming its junk because of my appearance (tattoos, piercings) or if they just dont really care to be polite and offer good customer service anymore. I dont know what's going on here but there used to be a pretty solid crew of nice ladies working here and now it's nothing but a bunch of rude women. I paid for my few items in cash, but I honestly did not see a credit card terminal anywhere. This place is a dump by a gas station / truck stop. The store is packed to the gills, but it is in order. If you can get to it. If you can't reach it or you think you might make something fall down trying to reach an item, ASK THE MAN WORKING THERE TO GET IT FOR YOU. He will thank you for it. The nice man working there said they needed a bigger space. No kidding! :-) I'm serious when I say this - bring some plastic bags ahead of time. There is literally no space to put your items somewhere if you want to come back to them after you have shopped some more. If you put them in plastic bags, at least you can haul your items around the store easier. Plus if you put them in plastic bags (versus a real bag), it won't look suspicious, like you are trying to steal from the store. You will never know how much an item will cost. What you do is put together a bunch of items and then haggle a little bit with the person working there. I honestly really don't like haggling at a **thrift store** but if I thought what he wanted for an item was too high, I'd either tell him that or I just would tell him I didn't want it anymore. I wasn't lying when I said I didn't want it anymore, sometimes he would guess price a little too high. For example, I wanted a used Minecraft shirt. He wanted $5 for it. I said to him, sir, I can get them new for $8 and this one is somewhat worn but still serviceable. He took a look at the shirt again and sold it to me for a dollar. It's filthy, stuff is piled haphazardly on shelves and the only employee was on the phone the entire time I was there so even if I had found something, without prices on anything I wouldn't have been able to ask. I kept expecting to see an insect or have something fall on my head. Let me be clear: neither of these things happened, which is why it gets 2 stars instead of 1 star. I was sort of in the neighborhood so I didn't exactly go out of my way to get there, but I would have been extremely disappointed if I had. It's also not that easy to get to and unclear where to park. I won't go back. Do yourself a favor and run up to the Goodwill in Herndon. That's nothing special either (no treasure hunting there), but for inexpensive household items and clothing, at least it's clean, well-lit and well-organized.

That said, I thought the prices were a little bit high. I got a couple things, but if the prices were better, I would've gotten more. They had an antique wheelchair, for example, that was like $700. They also had vintage film projectors and other things like that that were priced fairly high. If they had clothes, I didn't notice. I think they did, just not a lot of them. If I lived nearby, I'd stop in from time to time.
