I have used Donation Nation a few times and each pick-up is just as good as the last one. The staff is always friendly, courteous and professional. They take everything, except gasoline. I highly recommend using this company because they treat your donation items carefully. If you especially have items you can't use any longer but could use a new home this is the company to use. They also take junk as well and will dispose of it properly. Just like their website says " they recycle and reuse". This is a great thrift shop that you can find some real deals if you just look. They have a constant flow of items that come and go so grab it while you can. They also always have tags that are a different discount amounts 25%, 50%, and 75%. It rotates the different percentages each week so check the board when you walk in. As other reviews say, there are no clothes at this location and you should be sure to visit the furniture store and also the home goods section. Update They no longer sell clothes, accessories, purses, has, or hats. I was looking for jackets and active wear for the spring. To my dismay, they stopped selling them. They've given away the majority of the clothes by now. Their reason was that they weren't profiting in sales. Now, the warehouse has a more open layout. The first warehouse sells housewares that's ridiculously overpriced. Depending on the day, they'll have a market down sale according to the color of the price tag. Like yellow tags are 50% off. It was still expensive, and I was looking for a rice cooker to no avail. I saw a used Hamilton Beach crock pot for $30?!! No sales, like that's pretty steep, despite that someone donated and its used! The majority of staff are nice and helpful. I'm just disappointed that they don't do clothes anymore, and don't like their mark up tactics. Best time to shop here is follow them on IG, see which color tag is on sale, and shop. read more

Plenty of parking and nearby another thrift shop as well (Insanity Thrift). There's two parts to the thrift store: 1) Furniture area (some are only $15) 2) Home goods No clothes here. This is definitely a jackpot for finding affordable furniture. This thrift shop has the most amount of furniture I have seen yet! There's also two drum sets that they are selling. If I had a house, I would definitely consider shopping here to save some money! In addition, the home goods part is running 50% off on all tags. It ranges from sewing machines to regular home decor to hair stuff to yoga mats to golf equipment to hardware to cooking tools. In addition, there is also a section for clothing. Each item is individually priced. The serving trays are on the pricier side - 25-40$ - from what I've seen. The staff is friendly and approached me several times asking if I had any questions. Given what it has, it's quite a large thrift store with a lot of hidden finds. I would probably visit mainly during their sales. Overall, underrated thrift stores. read more

This place is wildly expensive and the quality is questionable. I am not sure they are running a service here if people are donating items which they turn around and sell for an outrageous amount of money., making it inaccessible for those with limited incomes. Not a great model for a circular economy. Even dolls which were dirty and disheveled were priced as if they were collectibles in pristine condition. Instead of supporting this business, please shop and spend your money at places which share their profits with the community like Planet Aid Thrift. read more

This is an amazing service. They really do take anything and everything! The fee you pay them is tax deductible - it's based on the percentage of the truck fill. They also send you the itemized receipt for your donations, so you don't need do it! I like that they resell or better yet donate to a local charity. If you're tired of your stuff going into a landfill, Donation Nation is the place to call. They will either resell it themselves or donate it to a local charity. Since they are a 501(c)3 organization themselves they allow your donated items to be a tax deduction - gotta love that! What they're doing for you, though, is just getting rid of all your stuff that you don't want anymore. The best part is they'll take anything including paint and electronics. The catch is that they charge to remove the stuff from your house. Same deal with other haulers - they charge. However the charge is very nominal and you get the tax deduction. So it really offsets the cost. Big time. The guys who came and picked up my love seat and couch were right on time (when they said they would be there) and they were in and out in about 20 minutes. I highly recommend this company if you're at all concerned about the environment and want your discarded stuff to be put to use by someone else. read more

Habitat never returned my calls, the Salvation Army had me scheduled out for over a week, but not only did Donation Nation call me back in a few hours, but they worked with my schedule... Imagine. I requested that they show at a particular time & lo and behold a truck was sitting in my driveway at that time. Amazing! Charles, the owner & chief hauler is pleasant, charming, & professional. I've moved a lot of stuff in my day & Charles & Brian were some of the best; no dings, no hitting walls, no mud on my carpets. The best part is your stuff is professionally removed & then recycled back into the community to folks who really need quality items but can't attain them. I have clothes that I wanted to have picked up as donation , and i am a senior citizen, who can't get it there myself and I am applauded that a donation pick-up company would charge the amount of money they are asking for, with their impression of HELPING PEOPLE and also at the FAIR MARKET PRICE . That ludicrous. Come on these donations are for people who are in possible unfortunate situations and in need. How greedy can they be and where is your feeling of decency for people in need! What a game. First, the showed up with a U-Haul and not their Green Truck . The U-Haul was smaller. The website says clearly that they charge by the square ft. The two guys looked at the stuff and told me that they were charging by the % that my stuff would take up in the truck! We argued as the Website clearly says Sq ft and if they show up with a smaller truck than my stuff takes up a greater % of that truck. On top of that they packed the truck so my items took up more space. We argued for some time and I finally agreed as I needed to continue my day. It was two young guys and they said if I called the office to speak to a supervisor the call would just forward to them. Dead end. I gave them one because I had to and because they showed up on time and waited for me and they removed the items without damaging anything, I felt ripped off and cheated. Great resale shop, quality stuff you pay for by the pound, they will quote you great prices for the bigger furniture and had tons of stuff id have loved to buy if I was not in between moves, we did find a pair of new rebocks for him and some ice trays, the total was $1.20. Amazing resale place. Cheapest thrift style store around. Great management. It is a real laid back place. Don't go and expect it not to be. You will find some of the best deals here. I got some furniture and picture frames and artwork that was a steal. I almost don't want to leave a review so I won't be competing with people to get the really good stuff. So I was so excited to hear about this place who would come to remove items from the home. Unfortunately I am tasked with dismantling my 84 year old, dementia ridden, stepfather's two bedroom apartment. I am donating two thirds, including clothing, small kitchen appliances, suitcases, about two hundred DVDs, 100 CDs, desk, 20 pairs of shoes and boots, all in brand new condition, office and school supplies etc, etc. I am doing this alone and I am 63 years old with back problems. So it sounded perfect. then I find out it will cost me $200 for the pick up. SERIOUSLY? I am donating about $3,000 worth of good stuff and I have to PAY YOU to come and get it? I got nearly all my furniture here and have beautiful marble tables I get compliments on all the time, as well as some nice rugs, a pull-out couch and suede loveseat. I got delivery for only $75 each time. Great people, fair pricing and beautiful items. I don't blame them for not wanting to deliver the piano, but they were offering to give it away for free. Donation Nation was a godsend for my best friend since college. She was facing the overwhelming task of clearing her childhood home of 50+ years of accumulated "stuff". Her mother who had been in declining health had unfortunately become a hoarder in the last 10 years of living in the home. Charles was the hero of this sad scenario. He provided an incredibly accurate estimate of what it would take to clean out this 2,400 sq. ft. home. Despite the short notice, the terrible condition of the contents of the house, he managed to pull together a team of 8 workers and 3 double sized trucks that spent 9+ hours working like sled dogs non-stop in one day to completely clear out this house. I don't know of any other service that would have undertaken this job and gotten it done so efficiently. They got the job done in a single day to accommodate my friend who had flown in from out of town to get this done. It was wonderful to know that anything that could be salvaged would be and then donated to people that were truly in need. The cost of the service was not cheap but was worth every penny!!! The cost is tax deductible and they also provide a list of denotable items for tax purposes. Thank you Charles for your compassion in dealing with a very difficult emotional situation and for doing a fantastic job in every way. When we decided to move, we didn't want to move most of our existing furniture and household items. Most of this stuff was in good condition and in working order, so we didn't want to throw it away. After looking at a number of charities, I was really disheartened. Most would take a few items, but none of them were willing to take everything. I was at the point of looking a junk dealers when I stumbled across Donation Nation. The men who came out were very professional and courteous. I had so much stuff, that at first they said that I'd have to schedule a second truck. However, through their diligent arrangement of the items, they were able to pack it all in a very full truck. I also was very pleased that they gave me a detailed receipt for the items, which is way different the other charities that just give you a blank receipt.
