The store is well stocked with a great selection, whether I'm grabbing everyday essentials or just wandering the aisles for fun finds. There usually aren't many cashiers open, but the self-checkout line moves quickly so it's never much of an issue. Clean, organized, convenient, and reliable -- exactly what I want from a local Target. Happy to have this one close by! read more

This target had a much larger selection than my normal target, which was great! Their dollar spot section was stocked with items I've never seen that were so cute and all under $5. I also had to make a return and there was no line and the employees were friendly and efficient! I'll be back when I'm in the area. read more

It's Target, nothing more or less. Actually this is a large one, so they do have a grocery section. The quality is better than Wally Worlds, but you'll pay extra. They do have good sales here and there. What I like most is the video game section. Switch console games often sell out. More often than not they'll have it here. As for the store, I'd like to thank them for reasonably priced Levi jeans. They are made with another name, but same good quality. Clothing here is hit or miss, but for underwear, socks good value. Their book selection is extensive. The biggest problem is lines at checkout. They can be ridiculous. Good employees but there can be delays. read more

Target is one of my favorite places to go to . I think it should be noted that this is in fact target located in the middle of fair lakes shopping center so you can't really be shocked or upset that there are lines etc . I think their customer service does a great job with all the traffic that comes in and out of this store . I've never had any issues and their employees have always been helpful . I would recommend that they keep a better stock of their children's clothing . I do purchase some of my kids clothing from this store but a lot of the times they don't really have much available so it would be nice to see them keep up with that demand. 8/11/20 When I was here last the place was busy. Today it is pretty slow, until you ate ready to check out. I saw very few associates on the floor and even less at the registers. I am glad I was able to find the socks, underwear and tank top from A Pair Of Thieves. Yes, I have had issues with them, but if I can buy their products at Target, I will have no beef with them. I plan replacing some of my Underarmour shirts. I have discovered I have to many of them. Target has helped me with some shirts i like, but the Number 9 shirts that I liked are hard to find. I am wondering if Target has stopped selling this brand if shirts. I will find out later on. In the meantime, get some more staff members to cover the checkout line. One cashier and the self checkout lane isn't going to cut it. read more

This target location became my best friend during the state shutdown/quarantine! I decided to turn our deck into a cozy area to chill, work, have happy hours, etc. I would look on targets app for inspiration, and then when i found what i was looking for, I would place my order and it would be ready for pick up within 2 hours! It was amazing. I definitely made 4-5 trips one week because I just kept finding great items at great prices, but it really did make my life easier! I was able to complete the deck job within a week and a half thanks to Targets speedy curbside pick up option. See pictures for the end result! Usual Target stuff with a decent food selection. They seem to be redoing the store and the foodcourt is closed for repairs. Staff here is really friendly but unfortunately the lines were stretching almost to the DC line on a Sunday afternoon. This location is in a giant strip mall with lots of other stores so at least you can get your errands done in one place and there's plenty of parking. However plan to spend way too much time in the checkout line. read more

This one star review is for the employee with short curly hair that works in the self-checkout section. She should not be interacting with customers. She is always rude, does not know how to approach customers, and does not fit in with Target's friendly culture. Please remind her that she should not treat customers like they are her children and should not glare at customers. I just had the most pleasant customer service experience at this Target. That says a lot, because I have only ever had good Target experiences, but this one was extra nice. The employee had curly hair and a cute nose ring, and they were so helpful and easygoing as I had some minor return confusion. I was using the app and multiple barcodes were involved, and I was worried about holding up the line, but thanks to this employee, I felt so at ease. I also got my pickup order in a jiffy. I love Target, especially this location because it's the closest to my house. I can go at 8pm when this place is deserted almost and shop in peace. I get all my baby stuff here, Luvs diapers are cheap and they have 25.00 GC if you buy 4 boxes deals almost every other month. Baby clothes can also be very cheap when on sale. I go through a lot of onesies for my girl and underwear's for my son and I love picking up these items when they are on sale. Also, Target is the only store that carries the B toys I think. They have limited selection but it's quality products with reasonable prices. I bought the Bumble B bouncy toy 2 years ago for my son and it still looks brand new. I don't buy a crazy amount of toys for my kiddos but when I do I get them B toys (great toys and great company and their charity work focuses on children). I also love browsing their home decor area, a bit pricey but quality is par and design is current. read more

I used to go to Walmart when I needed to shop for general purpose housewares and other related stuff. But I got tired of the general chaos that exists in every Walmart I've been in in Northern VA (I've shopped in 3 different Walmart locations previously). The Walmarts were always messy and disorganized, dirty, and you can never find anyone to help you. The aisles are difficult to navigate - clogged with people, piles of stuff, and other detritus. So I tried Target, and had a much more pleasant experience. Every location I've been in to date - has been clean, well lighted, easy to navigate and find stuff, and the staff have been helpful when I've had the need to find something. I've bought a wide variety of stuff here: DVDs, video games, Christmas decorations, housewares, bar and kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, hardware, toiletries, and such. This Target is merely okay. The store seems smaller and more cramped than other locations, and they do not sanitize their carts as thoroughly as other stores. Otherwise, the store has all of the things you would expect from a Target. It is ALWAYS busy, yet the store always appears clean and organized. It certainly isn't the worst place to shop, but it's not my first choice of Targets in the area. read more

My Coworker has had so many problems with this stores and selling EXPIRED FOOD!! We are all nurses and I have been with her on 4-5 trips so I see what she is talking about! When she sees that item she calls a manager or team member and shows them and they say the same thing "Thank you for pointing-it out let me go ahead and take care of that and the next time we go the same stuff is there!! We called corporate we have emails going back-and-forth and we went back 2 weeks later it was even worse! Very large, spacious Target. The layout is well organized and easy to find things. I usually go to this Target in the evenings, or very late when I'm bored! I rarely see that many employees working, probably because I tend to go so late. However, I really don't mind because I enjoy walking around and leisurely looking at everything and really don't need much assistance. They sell everything you could need for survival! Food, furniture, cleaning stuff, clothes (casual, work, fitness), baby stuff, shoes, camping gear, electronics, etc. Areas in need of improvement: Customer Service/Return/Exchanges There is typically a long line because they're often under-staffed in this area with only 1 or 2 people working. There are tons of people to help you check out and take your money. However, why is there such a long, slow line if I need to make an exchange or a refund? I think more cashiers ought to be able to do exchanges and refunds and perhaps anything over say $100 or without a receipt, perhaps go over to over to customer service. Overall I love Target. This particular Target not so much. Once while checking out I was overcharged for one of the items I bought which I noticed when I looked at the receipt. When I alerted the cashier of this issue she promptly told me I needed to go to customer service. Seriously? You can't fix the error. Time number #2 that wasn't stellar either, I brought my own reusable bag, trying to be green. And the guy who checked me out basically handed me back my bag and I had to bag everything myself. Ok, I'm not above bagging my own stuff but the manner in how he did it was totally rude, and quite honestly, I didn't think Target was a bag your own stuff type of place. This Target is awful. The way it's setup is not good for flow and it was an absolute mess when we were there today. It's like it's trying to look like a mall department store. The part that really frustrated me was we went through the checkout aisle and the employee working said if we wanted to use our reusable bags we had to bag stuff ourselves. Okay, totally fine. But when she was scanning fast and we couldn't get stuff bagged quick enough she started randomly putting stuff in plastic and asking us to move things. It was one level target which made life so much easier. And easier to shop around. I don't know if I just didn't notice this before, but they had shopping baskets everywhere throughout the store which was very helpful when you decide you need more than those 2 items that you planned to purchase but need 10 more things. My wife and I don't often go here since Walmart is literally in the same shopping center. We just go here when we can't find what we are looking for at Walmart. The prices at Target seem higher than Walmart. Also Target's shipping service sucks. Things come late even though they are supposed to be delivered ahead of the holidays. Customer service individual reminded me why I never shop at target (unless in dire emergency). I tried to buy a kitchen appliance in store and noticed that target was offering 10% off on Kitchen appliances on their online website if "Picked up" in store. I went to the register and asked them if they could just price override to their OWN WEBSITE and grant the 10% off. I was rejected and was told I would need to order it and use the in store "Pick up" option to get the 10% off the kitchen appliance. Alrighty.. then I'll just order it while in store and do the pick up right then and there. Customer service told me I would have to wait 2 hours or come back when it was "ready for pickup." Even though the item was right there in my hand and I could literally give the item to the in store pick up person. At this point, I decided to just Amazon Prime it while in Target. Why oh why did I ever set foot store in the first place. Oh because it was supposed to be convenient? SIKE. Sorry, but that whole system is completely idiotic and convoluted. I don't enjoy coming to this store on a normal day, but right now with COVID19 things are soo much more worse. These are desperate times, and this store really makes you feel it. I was desperately in need of diapers and wipes for my toddler and had no choice but to come in. All I wanted to do was grab these few things, pay and leave, but this store makes life hard. At 4pm on a Saturday you would think that they would have more than 1 till and self checkout open. The place was like a mad house. They had no one manning the queues and then you get these morons who don't really know which queue they belong to. I'm telling you, avoid at all costs, just order online. read more

Big store and pretty much a one stop shop where you can find everything you need. Only complain is that the checkout time at the register always takes a long time despite having a self checkout area. They need to have more cashiers at the registers that are not being used during the busy times. It's irritating having to wait almost 45 minutes to get one item rung up. read more

MISLABELED ITEMS IN ELECTRONICS DEPARTMENT. I thought I was picking up a hard drive on sale for $69 and I paid for it in the electronics department. When the item rang up, it was at the original price. Turns out all the inventory that was on the shelves as being on sale was totally wrong and the hard drives that were labeled as being on sale were not on sale and vice versa. So now instead of being able to do a swap, I have to go to the return department and go through this whole bullshit thing of returning the item that was mislabeled to begin with so I can get the other item that was on sale. There's also only one person working the return and the line is 20 people long. So what should've been a 10 min excursion to target gas turned into a 40 min nightmare. This is seriously the worst Target I've been to. SAVE YOURSELF THE AGGRAVATION AND GO TO A DIFFERENT TARGET. read more

I visited the Target CVS Pharmacy for my flu shot and had a great overall experience! The gentleman who checked me in was extremely friendly and efficient. He told me it would be about a 15 minute wait for my shot and I was pleasantly surprised that it only took about ten. He was diligent in reviewing my allergies and ensuring that their records were updated accordingly. For the actual shot, I was taken back to a small room next to the pharmacy. It was very clean and I was glad to not be sitting in the middle of the store. The pharmacist was quick to provide the shot and was friendly to chat with. They had a wide selection of bandaids, which I thought was a nice touch! I picked out a glitter bandaid, which made me quite happy actually! :) Their bandaid choices should be a big hit with any kids that need to get a shot too (ex/ Avengers, Paw Patrol, etc). To finish the experience I also received a coupon for $5 off my next Target shopping trip! Winning! This was a MUCH better experience than visiting the walk in clinic like I did last year. I'll definitely do this again next year! And PS - pharmacies are already running out of flu shots, so don't delay if you'd like to get one!
