This is one of my go-to Targets, whether its for returning something or picking up Starbucks. I have been shopping here before as well, but would have been years ago. Since they added the self-checkout counters, I don't have much interaction with the employees, except when returning. There isn't much dialogue exchanged, just the basic, so I can't speak to that much. This location is always fully stocked and well organized. It is located in very busy shopping center that shares entrances with Costco. There is plenty of parking available, even if shared by neighboring stores. I was very happy when they added this location to the order ahead in the Starbucks app. read more

I usually like shopping at this Target because it's tidy and creates a nice atmosphere for browsing. However, I've found that the deals here aren't as plentiful as at other locations, which is a bit disappointing. The electronics section could definitely improve though; the staff's persistent inquiries about my cell phone provider can be quite off-putting, making me want to avoid that area altogether. It feels a bit too much when a simple "no thank you" doesn't suffice. And there are multiple representatives, not just one. :( During my last visit, I needed a motorized cart due to my recovery, but both available carts were almost out of battery. I managed to grab one with just two bars left and made it to the calendar section and the board games before it started beeping at me that it had no more battery life. Luckily, my spouse was there to help with checkout, or I might not have made it. I really hope they can improve these aspects because it's a nice store that has the potential for an even better shopping experience! read more

Happy to say got the essentials. Us guys forget household necessities. That is until we are out. This store had these in stock, and have to say a pleasant experience. Was it busy? Yes as always,but it's a prime location. Getting in and out of the parking lot, is not a cinch by any means. I do like the employees here. They got the lines moving. Time is money. That type of efficiency is solid. Their prices are a little higher than Wally World, but less drama and the like. That alone is a relief. read more

Curbside pick up is dishonest. You tell them you don't want the bags and they say "Oh no worries keep it, I won't charge you for it". Later the same day like around an hour later, you see the charges for the bags. Keep scamming your customers. Great job hiring dishonest employers. Shouldn't be hiring kids, guess so. read more

I swiped my debit card at this location and a day or two after immediately got hit with fraudulent transactions on my bank account. All transactions displayed targets from other areas in the US. I reported this activity to my bank and unfortunately they denied my fraud claim and will not refund me the $1900 stolen from my account. Due to this, I did call the target to report that this was done to me after shopping at their location, so that awareness is had and they can check their machines for skimmers, etc. I went back to this location 2 weeks later but decided this time to use my credit card and tap to pay on the self-checkout; again, two days later I am getting transactions this time on my credit card of purchases I never made. It's about 20 different small transactional purchases. I check my credit card statement, last place I shopped at, yet again, was the Chantilly target location. Target is my once a week retail therapy session! I don't think I could live without Target! There is another big box store conveniently located across the street from me but nooo I'd rather get in my car and drive to this Target! It's a place of refuge and healing..... for me! Today, I was focused and stuck to the list I had in hand! I did great because I stuck to the list!! Unbelievable right? I kept my head on straight, picked up my paper products, hair clips and cleaning solution! I walk past the women's clothing section like a soldier! This is your standard, big-box shopping store. if you like shopping at Target, you'll know what to expect here. The Fair Lakes Target is marginally closer to me, but I prefer to shop here because it's a bigger store, and the parking situation is a whole lot better IMHO. Plus, you can swing by before or after you make a Costco run. I have no major complaints, just kudos to the Target team for running the store efficiently. Not a huge amount of sizes to choose from clothing-wise. Prices seem to be higher than Walmart. Starbucks inside is nice.

Ordered items online. App indicated my store in Fairlakes was out of item but Chantilly had multiples of the item in stock. Ordered 2 of that item and 4 other additional items showing available. Order complete and time for pickup it 3 of the 5 items not available - 1.5 hours later than my order. Target is a good store with competitive prices but save yourself the failed expectation and go pickup in person or order for delivery at home. The review of 2 stars is for the terrible order-pickup experience. read more

This is the closest Target to us. Employees are always very helpful and sweet at this location. It's spacious in here and the store doesn't get as jam packed as some of the other Target locations I've visited. Employees also do a great job keeping everything organized and neat so we can find things easily. There is always someone who asks if we need help with anything, which is very thoughtful. Restrooms are clean for the most part. Overall, I'm a happy customer :D read more

Not a big fan of shopping but this location makes it a bit more tolerable than most others in the area. Unlike many other locations, there are no awkward parking garages or a long hunt for a scarce spot in a small parking lot. There's plenty of parking and it's near Costco so you can get your shopping finished without slogging across town in awful traffic. Store itself is fine and seems pretty well stocked. Most importantly, checkout lines were pretty short on a weekend so you can get of here pretty quickly. read more

Before you purchase any iTunes Card or any similar type(s) of cards, please read the store policy. Recently, I purchased 2 iTunes Cards from the Chantilly location. When I tried to install the cards the Apple iTunes Application rejected both cards with Invalid Number / Invalid Card. I called Apple Support and we did a check of the Jacket and Cards and found it was invalid. Apple support asked if I would take it back to the 3rd Party Vendor i.e. Target. When I took it back the Manager told me, they will not take the defective card back and that I need to talk to Apple. I told the Store Manager, you sold me the card, but I need to call Apple to get a refund or a new Number. She said its Company Policy. I did call Apple Support back and I needed to send a Complete image of the Receipt, Images of the Jacket showing all 4 corners, and Images of the card showing all 4 corners. They go it reviewed and I got new numbers. Just be warned! Target does not take iTunes Cards back if it has issues. read more

This is my usual Target spot. Since the pandemic I've only been inside a handful of times. It's still well maintained inside-neat, clean, and bright. Employees are very friendly and helpful!! Want great Target clearance? Check this store. I don't know why but they seem to always have a great selection of both holiday and regular clearance. The store is well organized and stocked. This store's layout is nearly the exact opposite of the Fair Lakes store -- groceries and pharmacy are on the left-side of the building. Easiest way in is via the back road -- take Willard to Lee Road to avoid the craziness of Route 50 West. read more

It's a decent Target located in a good location. There is plenty of parking. This one is supposed to be a "Super Target".. but there isn't really any grocery selection besides some frozen foods/drinks, some can foods, and some chips/drinks. But in comparison to the Target I live near this place has a HUGE woman's clothing section. Tons more stuff and a much larger clearance section. I got tons of great stuff and spent under $25! Best Pharmacy in the area, hands down. I don't usually write reviews for places like this, but their pharmacy is exceptional. Not to mention this specific Target has the biggest selection of cosmetics, including NYX and ELF products not available at other Targets. Back to Pharmacy: I moved from Burke about 2 years ago and being a creature of habit, had a hard time trying to readjust myself finding my go-to bank, pharmacy, grocery store, etc. I thought I loved Burke Target, but I was wrong! I didn't know love until I met Chantilly Target. Most important- they get all of my family's prescriptions correct and on time, every single time. Not to mention, they are so friendly and always go out of their way to help you out with coupons and recommendations. 2 years later, I am well adjusted, still in love with this Target, and a happy Chantilly resident! read more

We came to Chantilly target and picked up couple of dresses. One of the dress we picked up was 25$ online and the same dress was 30$ in store. I went to checkout and there was an elder asian lady named "SUE" I showed her the same dress on target.com which was 25$ and on sale and asked if she would price match it in store she immediately said no she wont match the price and online is different from in store even if it is target.com. It honestly didn't make any sense to me. why would you not match price from your own website. So I said I didn't want these dresses and started to leave but while I was leaving I went to another sales representative and asked if they would match price from their website and she said of course they will match from their website. I think it is because of people like "SUE" the physical stores are going out of business as people are preferring not to deal with this crappy attitude in store. What's not to love about Target? Only wished they had one nearer to my house instead of a Walmart! A great place to find all your shopping needs. Hate what they've done with the renovations though as the baby section is in disarray as all type of products are just scattered around here and there instead of the organized rows they had previously. Same thing with the cosmetics section. Funny that the one place that needs to be renovated wasn't - the bathroom. It can be quite nasty sometimes. The thing that does bother me though is that annoyingly, prices IN this store can be twice as high as the price ONLINE. I'm not quite sure what is happening here.... Not all Targeee's are created equal. This one is one of the better ones. They have a self checkout section. The shelves aren't always barren. Most clearance items have price tags. The parking lot is great & they have good long hours. They used to be open 24 hrs but I guess that's not the case anymore. Staff are efficient & even nice on occasion. I drive farther to come to this location cause I don't like the other stores in Fairfax. To be great this target should: 1) fix all price checking scanners & install one near front of the store 2) organize & restock bulles eye playground @ the front 3) restock makeup & toiletries more frequently read more

This might be one of my favorite targets. I used to work nearby and would sometimes come during the day to pick up some things and never had an issue with crowds or lines but I can imagine during the busier parts of the day or weekends this place might be a bit nuts. Overall clean, easy to get in and out of. Parking is ample since the Costco's entrance that is next door to target is on the opposite end of the shopping center so I don't have to deal with that. I was in need of pet food and since I forgot to pack some for the road and I was out of the way from my usual Target, I had to stop by the closest one to where I was. "Four stars!" I thought. This must be a great Target. As I arrived, it was neat and clean; however, customer service is very subpar. I was not in the mood to deal with anyone when I have a pup in the car. I had all my necessary coupons for my fur baby's food and the cashier pretty much gave me a hard time for it. (What do you mean I can't use four? I bought four stinking items!)
