One of my favorite go to place for discounted stationary, cards, house hold items and toys for kids during the holiday season! This store have more supplies than other Dollar tree around the area and they are almost always so full of stock and much cleaner than most stores in the area. Everything is now $1.25 and cards are sometimes $0.50 each. Staff are always so quick and nice and happy. Love this place! Would always recommended this place for crafters and teachers! read more

Went into the store for the first time yesterday and there were only 2 employees there. Immediately I heard music from one of the employees personal device with profanities coming from it. Mind you, the store was slient so the words were very loud and clear for everyone to hear especially young children in the store with their parents. Unacceptable. read more

It works for basics. Now it's the $1.25 Tree. A lot of this has, been for years congress of both parties spends, spends, and spends. I believe our national debt is over $30 trillion now. The company change wasn't exactly a crowd pleaser, but they have margins to operate as well. This store is well staffed. Also they have good deals on household cleaners. I've even found car wash materials for less here. Like many of their stores, you might have to search the aisles to find something. Yet all in all it works, and cards are still 2 for $1.00. The closest Dollar Tree to us. We usually visit the one in Centerville, even though this one is closer. On our most recent trip, customer service was much better than past visits to this location. Gail was so kind, helpful, ensured social distancing was being practiced, and bagged everything neatly. Usually, our bags are overly stuffed and falling apart by the time we get to the car. Found everything we were looking for and then some. Depending on when you visit, the store may be organized or there will be boxes all around. This location does offer a larger variety of items than some of the other Dollar Tree locations. read more

I used to work at a dollar store; and it's really hard work for not much money. I needed a little scrubber and happened to be driving by. The store is huge, with a shockingly diverse product selection that is very well organized. I ended up getting way more than I planned (the store won). I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews about the customer service. These stores operate on narrow margins so can only staff a few people. The cashiers are mostly older, and (of course) not thrilled to be working at a tiring retail job. Have a heart and be patient with them. They're each someone's Mom and Grandma. read more

I honestly don't think this store is run by any management team. The cashiers and workers have the worst attitude. It's true what they say, "Good Help Is Hard To Find." While the Dollar Tree in Chantilly may have cheap candy and seasonings (the only things I care about), you will have to walk down every aisle to find what you are really looking for. For instance, why is the sewing kit at the cashier register? Don't get caught up in the prices, while the vast majority of the items are only one dollar, you will find that some items aren't worth a dollar. The customer service here is no where to be found, theres usually 1 or 2 people working at cashier but about 40 people in line and the attitudes of employees are horrible. The surprising there is they are usually organized and everything is really a $1. Most dollar stores have items that are more than a $1 but most things that I've seen and bought are a $1. They have everything here from candles to shampoo. I like to come here especially for school supplies and for decorations for events because they have the same stuff you can find at party city. This store gives me the blues. I hate having to come here but it's the closest Dollar Tree near me. The best thing about this store is that they have my favorite brand of candy (Swizzler's brand licorice) but they didn't even have that the last few times I went. I gotta give it to them that the store is always stocked and it's a huge store, but my word the cashiers are slower than the folks at WalMart. I think what makes it bad is that there's usually older people working the registers and they tend to not move as fast as younger cashiers. To make matters worse, there's usually only one register open, so the line is backed up into the aisles of the merchandise. Keeping that in mind, I try not to go until I'm desperate and need more than a few items, so I'm not waiting in line forever for just one item. Since I've been on an organization bender, I've had to endure the lines more than a few times already. read more

It's a Dollar Store, not a Neiman's, Saks, or Bloomingdales. This place is for people on a budget or people just wanting to feel like they're rich and can buy up the whole store!!!! I really like this store. It's not high end but customer service & respect is still important wherever you shop. The manager (black female) is respectful and responsive to the staff and customers. My only complaint is the HORRIBLE UNSANITARY condition of the restrooms. The health department would shut it down. It needs to be cleaned a few times throughout the day with a schedule posted. I was in and out with a mission. The register had a long line but the managers were initiative and helped out on the floor so that associates are not dragged and pressured to do everything while managers just say there in the office. It's a dollar store one in which truly everything in the store is $1. Some items are even multiple for a buck! This location is one of the larger locations. Tons of great finds and new seasonal items stocked often. Cleaner than you'd expect and well stocked all the time. Staff is friendly. I just wish they were open later. Mixed review. The manager I usually see (female, black) is wonderful. The store is always stocked nicely, looks attractive, and they have a great selection of products. Some of the cashiers are nice but there are also some who aren't so nice. Like today. A lady with short red hair -- so rude! I had some things in my basket and I laid it up on the counter b/c the person I was behind had tons of little things and I didn't want my stuff to get mixed up with hers. I didn't see the separator bar b/c it was covered with stuff. So when it was my turn, the cashier glares at me and demands, "Take it out." Oh, hell no! I paid for my things and had her page the manager so I could complain. This is an awesome store. Everything really is a dollar (unlike those other dollar) places and the customer service is actually welcoming.

I start here whenever I need to get ready for an event. The selection at this location seems to be better than others. I can always find items to coordinate with whatever theme I am doing and save a few bucks. My little guy requires that we stop in here at least once a week for a balloon lol. read more

Nice convenient place to get a couple of quick items. Pretty much anything that you need you can probably find there. Remember, it's only a dollar. So, sometimes you get what you pay for. If I need anything that has to be a named brand, then I would go somewhere else. For generic items, this is the place! I mean first off...it's a Dollar Tree--not some high end store. I only knocked off one star because there was only one line open. But with that said, this location is awesome! It's much bigger than the other locations I've been to and had more of a variety of products. Some things that I noticed and enjoyed were: the teachers aisle had lots of cool stuff (I ended up buying a chore chart for my stepson), limited edition Fabuloso (smells great!), cuticle clippers (very sharp!), a very large frozen and refrigerated food section (I don't buy their food, but for someone who does, there's a big selection), tons of sandwich and smack bags (random, but useful), nice "spa" lotions, bath fizzies, soaps, gels, sprays, etc., and their party supplies section is massive. For this time of year (April), there's a ton of cool luau products from leis, to grass skirts (which I've never seen in any other Dollar Tree), cool table confetti, tiki torches....literally everything you'll need for a fun luau party! We were visiting friends and this store is about an hour from where we live, but I will definitely come back when we visit again! read more

This is your standard Dollar Tree. It's pretty well lit, mostly clean and offers a variety of products. I usually don't need assistance when shopping here, so the only employees I have encountered are the ones at check-out. They have always been courteous and helpful enough. read more
