This Container Store was well organized and clean. It looked like there were a lot of empty shelves in sections of the store but that could have been because of the holidays being close by and more people shopping there or they could be in the process of restocking. read more

Whatever you do, don't use them for a closet install. They scheduled my install months after ordering and 3 weeks after my original install timing. Got here only to find out that they hadn't measure correctly. Promised me it would be 2-3 weeks to fix. It's been a month. No one is responsive. I'm now left to protest the chargers. It's okay. The Container Store is beloved by many. I'm not sure why, although their air tight cereal/traillmix canisters are air tight. They are durable. The same goes for my shoes mat, which holds on to a number of my sneakers. This is a decent organizer. There are a lot of products. The company has a major following. Some people in my family are enthusiastic about their stuff. I'll give the cereal containers credit, as a steep fall for the cupboards. I do think they have very good customer service. Employees are very polite and thorough, about getting things to a low price. That a nice aspect of shopping here. Parking is a cinch, and the shopping mall delivers . There are some places to eat, while getting a table or house supplies. It's a local favorite, for me it's alright. read more

Got wonderful service from Sue at the Vienna store in getting me set up with some sturdy closet-organizing metal shelves. Sue went out of her way to make sure I not only the best price but in getting the shelves set up, transported and in situ after realizing they wouldn't fit in my car. Service was truly above and beyond, and all delivered efficiently and with a smile. Good on container store, I'l be back as other needs arise. read more

OMG!!! I'm a frequent shopper at the Vienna store. I had a product I wanted to return and I never used it and I had my receipt. The rude sales lady, Alice was so brash and said you will get a store credit because you don't have a box. If she was polite about it then I would not mind. I was rubbed off the wrong way with her approach. I asked to see the manager. The manager wasn't available to come to the register and she said to add my pop number. When she looked at my receipt she said I purchased it back in March. I said that was impossible. And then she gave me a store credit. Then I looked at the receipt and it documented 8/30/25. I told her and she said too late I gave you a store credit. I asked for her name and she said Alice. I said I will make a complaint if your service and she said go ahead and I don't care. I told her that she was very rude and stay away from me. OMG! The lady followed me around in the store and kept talking. I told her to shut up and don't talk to me. She kept talking and getting in my face saying you won't speak to me that way. I told her I asked her to stay away from me but she kept following me around. I felt threatened and uncomfortable with this lady. She was bat shit crazy. I will be calling customer service. read more

I went to pick up an online order of one smallish item at 615pm. An employee named David said they don't do pickups after 6pm. I told him that information wasn't included in the email with pickup instructions. David claimed it's on the website. He decided to be 'nice' and get the item from the back. The store is open until 7pm if there aren't pickups after 6pm put that information on the email with pickup instructions. Davie annoyed me with his attitude since he was standing around by the front door chatting with another employee when I walked in. He wasn't doing closing prep or busy at all. He just want to be a jerk. read more

I like the new location for this store, next to the Best Buy. There is more parking here for than the previous location and getting in and out is easier too. The store is similar to the other location and finding things are easier. Staff is helpful as ever! I like the selection of products this store carris and am able to find most of the things that I am shopping for. Also a good place to find one of a kind unique products that you wish for but are not able to find it anywhere. read more

I've been going to Container Store locations often in the past month because my new place uses the Elfa closet system so I've been sort of stuck in building off that and can't afford to overhaul my current closet at the moment. Most of the items you're looking for are not on the floor and you have to get an employee to get them from their "basement." Pretty odd and inconvenient setup for everyone. You really have to seek out employees on the floor and most of them are busy with customers. The lines are atrocious, ridiculous, stupid, retarded, absurd, time consuming, every word you can think of while you're in line because there are only 2-3 staff maximum checking out people. Really? Can they add a self checkout line? After some arguing ensued between an employee and a customer, the employee just left their register with a line full of people and carts full of overpriced Container Store merchandise. I couldn't believe this guy just left only leaving 2 cashiers for 12 people in line. This location is highly understaffed and completely inefficient. read more

The stars are for phenomenal customer service interaction. But this location is far from organized and out of everything. The Annapolis, Md location is OCD organized and definitely in stock of everything. So although it's far that's where I'll go. read more

I was looking to purchase Elfa shelving wall units at the Tysons Container Store. Patti helped me and she was incredible! She helped me get all of the components I needed very quickly. It was a great shopping experience. Once I got home, I installed the unit in about an hour. It was a great experience and I am thankful for Patti, who was so helpful. read more

It's The Container Store..... I mean, the prices are what they are. I will say that I had to ASK for assistance as NO ONE asked me was I looking for anything...... seeing that I circled the store twice, with a big blue buggy, with basically TWO customers in the entire store. If I didn't need the items immediately, I would have ordered them online. This location is in a more visible spot, but the lack of customer service leaves a lot to be desired. read more

So I always have a lot of stuff and have always used the containers from here to hold non-seasonal clothes. Naturally when it was time for me to move, I came here to get some storage stuff and hangers for pants/skirts. Considering that I like to stay organized, the prices here don't bother me. I have used containers from other stores but there is something about this brand that makes me feel excited about staying organized. The staff here is so friendly and helpful. The store itself is clean. Finding parking is easy considering it is Tyson's but I also only make sure I go during non busy hours. I have always been able to check-out quickly and easily too. read more

Love the staff here! I visited several times over the last few days, due to thr ongoing Elfa sale, and each time the staff was courteous, proactive and helpful. The online ordering with curbside pickup worked very well, and I would definitely recommend to others. Special Shout out to the employee (whose name escapes me) that helped with my last minute order...I placed an order online at 5pm and received automatic email that it would be ready the next day. We were heading out of town in the morning, so I called the store at 6pm to see if we could pickup by 7pm. Although all the Elfa associates had left for the day, this staff member filled my order themselves and had it ready for pickup by the time we arrived. this was once my favorite go-to store for storage containers and all sorts of travel supplies. The always had lots of employees who would helpn me findwhat I needed. After my last 2 experiences there, the 2nd one being today, I doubt that I will go back. We needed a storage container for aa particular purpose. We found one that looked like the required size but we were not quite sure and the container stated that it was for a particular weight of charcoal as opposed to it's volume or dimensions. I went looking for an employee who might measure the container. The one employee on the floor was busy with a customer. Another customer had a tape measure and we determined that the container was the right size. We got to the register where there was a line of three people. That should not have been a problem but ten minutes later the same customer was still at the register. Finally another register opened and another customer with a problem transaction tied that register. There was no indication of when we would check out so we left without our $50 dollar purchase. We went home & found a suitable container on Amazon. read more

What happened to this store? It feels really messy. You would think this would be organized considering the premise of the store. There weren't any carts available because the three in the front had random cardboard boxes in them. Then I found a bunch in the back, full of stuff and crowding the aisles. I guess they are orders but maybe the store needs to purchase more carts? I overheard a couple paid a lot for a closet and couldn't find someone to help them with it. I am a container store fan, but I was disappointed by the staff at this one. The store is clean and well stocked, however, I made two visits in which I was not pleased with the way I was treated. No one offers to help you find what you need, and going to the back is a chore for them. Additionally, my questions were met with impatience and it seemed like they didn't even want my business. The next time you wonder why we shop online or flee to Amazon, realize it's because we would rather talk to no one than be met with rudeness. read more

While I love this store they close at 7pm which makes it difficult for working people like myself to get to it before closing. Not to mention the difficult location to get and out of due to heavy traffic. Hopefully it's just til everything opens again but I won't be back anytime soon. read more

Absurd prices, and some of the "containers" are of poor quality. In addition, it should be easy to find boxes with the right dimensions in a place like this, right? Think again. Try the Michael's Store or something similar. The Container Stores are clean and attractive, and the help tries to be helpful and pleasant. They make the effort, but I'll still search elsewhere first. read more
