I went to the Marshall's in Leesburg because I wanted to find some Santa shower curtains for some kids who I had been visiting. Sadly, that seemed to be the ONLY thing I couldn't find the big guy on. There's plenty of Santa, snowman, reindeer, snowflakes on everything, on sweaters, on towels, on doormats, etc... Needless to say, you'll find everything you may need and some things you may not need, to deck out every part of your home for the holidays. In addition to the holiday things, you can also find everything else a typical Marshall's carries. There's toys, some furniture, shoes, clothes for the whole family and everything else in between. While this Marshall's was packed with shoppers, the line to check out moved very quickly, since they had a cashier working at every register. read more

I wish I could give this location 4 stars but I would need to go back. I came here a few months ago looking for some furniture. I know weird. But they did have the cutest nightstand with an outlet plug but I couldn't find anyone to help me. There were no floor associates and normally I would have asked for help but I was in a rush and didn't feel like being bothered. I ended up finding a similar one at IKEA. I will go back for some holiday shopping and give them another chance. read more

This Marshalls is located in the Fort Evans Plaza, and it seems to have been opened recently! As other Marshalls, they carry men/women/children apparel, home decor, furniture, kitchen items, beauty section, shoes section, and kids. The items seem to be well-organized and displayed, and I liked that they had more 'unique' items available compared to other Marshalls. I found a good amount of Coola organic sunscreen and some gourmet candies on sale that would be great toppers for treats! And with that shared, this store must have it's good days or bad days depending on what you are looking for. I didn't have anything in mind but I did notice that they had a lot of good brands out there on the floor. The prices are a little higher than Ross Dress for Less but it's ok because the high brands differ and makes it worth it to check out both to score on buying brand clothing for a cheaper price. Clean store and nice staff willing to help you if you're looking for anything. I'm pretty sure I'll return before I leave. read more

One of my favorite stores in town. I bought several Christmas ornaments this week including Waterford and Lenox. Great prices. This store carries toys, baby and children's clothing, ladies and mens clothes and shoes, housewares including some furniture, bedding and linens, gifts and pet supplies. Literally, something for everyone. I knocked a star off as someones three children were playing tag in the store. One associate that walked from the back to the front asked them to stop running but as soon as they went back to the back the kids were running around again. They were running right by other associates and nothing was being said. When one rounded the bend and almost took me out I decided it was time to leave the store. I had stopped here on the way home from the Chiropractor and certainly didn't need another injury. If management reads this I hope they reinforce to all of their associations to stop children from running. There were 3 children and one was small and could have been hurt and the other two were older and could have been hurt or hurt others. read more

I love this store. I love that the stock changes and you never ever know what you'll find. There will be days when I have nothing in mind to buy and leave the store with several large bags. Other days, I'm looking for something specific and can be in and out in a jiffy. Mostly, I spend at least one hour here. I'll be on vacation and when I get back I literally have to get my 'fix' to see what they have added to their stock. My typical Marshalls habit... do a 'drive-by' of the shoes and then return to shoes that peak my interests. When I'm done with the shoe section I scope out the clothing racks and then of course the purses. Although, I must say they have a nice selection of purses here but a much better selection at TJ Maxx by the mall. But this isn't TJ so I need to get back on track. After that, I like to peruse the home section. I'm out of room in my house for furnishings but yea, I still like to look at 'em and try and figure out how to work this new piece in. :-) Staff has always been nice to me. Sure, they're not always chatty but they smile to me and treat me well. The cashiers are always smiling for me. I know it's like a machine's automated response when they say "Hello. How are you?" with a smile but still, its nice. I've never had a problem or attitudes with exchanges or returns either. The few times I've done a return is because I wasn't in the mood to try something on and just bought 'em. I hardly do that anymore. Hardly. lol Parking is plentiful. read more

I love shopping at Marshall's. A lot of people turn their nose up, but you really can shop for so much less. Especially if you are looking for work clothes. Warning: you have to be in a patient mood to go through all of the racks. You have to do a little work to shop there, but it's worth it. Last night, I found a dress for my friend's bachelorette party, and it cost me $10! How amazing. I also found some shorts for my vacation for good prices, too. Usually I'd go to J.Crew and spend $30-$40 on them. Not this time! This store is one of the best locations, too. I always find things here. They have a great section of career clothing and a huge dress section. It's not too crowded or messy. You really can't go wrong here. Happy shopping! read more

Good deals to be found on clothing. It's hit or miss, so be prepared to spend a bundle (because you found much more than you imaged) or not much at all (because you hit it on an off day). Quite unorganized on sizing so check the label - don't go by their colored tags on the hanger. Remember, these items are usually seconds, so also check seams, buttons, etc. As far as bargain warehouse clothes shopping goes, I like this place but I do think Ross is better. read more

I will never shop at your store again after trying to make a return with receipt and because my Visa card that was stolen a few days ago was not present(which I offered another card) they would not refund until I threw a completed Fit. If I have a receipt and it's only been a few days, store credit is not acceptable. You treated me like a criminal, you embarrassed me and I will never shop in your store again. Absolutely ridiculous way to treat someone with a receipt over a $25.00 return. Not to mention all the time of your employees you wasted, as well as people waiting in line and mine as well, arguing with me over this. If I had no receipt or it was an old exchange, I could understand but a few days, no. Hard enough that my card was hacked and I have to deal with that but then to be treated this way. I have not been to this store in awhile, but I did & nothing has changed. I went on Tuesday night and the lady who is SO rude as anything can be, got rude towards a customer who just asked her to get back up bc of how long she was in line for, there was 6 others including me. She didn't care and didn't call for backup until she felt like it. So, lucky me! I got her to check me out and she once again was rude. I went back in yesterday to make a return & she was there again, but this time she was just organizing some stuff up front while there was once again a line, so I stood there for a while before I was called by a worker who never speaks to you. I visited this store a few days ago, and was totally appalled by how I was treated. When I went to the fitting room, I was told that I could only take 5 items in at a time. I was told to leave my other items up front with the sales associate. As I was trying on the clothes, I heard other customers being told that they could bring up to 10 items in at one time. When I finished trying on my clothes and stepped out, I asked why I was allowed only 5 items, while others were allowed up to 10? All three sales associates who were there when I first came in the fitting room answered, "I don't know who told you that. You are allowed up to 10 items." I pointed to the sales associate who initially told me "only 5", and said, "you told me that." I guess she thought that I'd forgotten that she was the one whom I had spoken to. After being pointed out, she admitted that she told me that because she was new and didn't know any better. Sadly, the other sales associate did not mind allowing her to take the blame. I asked why was I being treated differently than the other customers. She apologized. I was the only African-American customer in that area at the time. The deed was done. It was obvious that they felt that because of my race, I should be treated as a potential shoplifter. I hope that in the future, Marshalls will train their sales associates to treat all of their customers the same regardless of their own prejudices. I would hate to see another customer treated unfairly due to the color of their skin. read more

I've been to many Marshall's and this one is unique merely for its staff: there's a male mgr who is superb!! He walks around helping everyone, staff and customers alike, offering to help, offering suggestions on design - THAT ARE SPOT on!!! One shoe was missing the mate and he took my name and number and said he'd call if it ever appeared - low and behold, a month later, HE DID!!! The merchandise is good, but the good items go quick!! read more
