I went to this Costco location with my mom today, who recently had knee replacement surgery. The staff went above and beyond while were there- staff stopped to ask if she needed help getting items, and were so kind and accommodating. When we were loading the car a container of blueberries popped open and spilled everywhere. a staff member saw this happen from inside the store and came out to let us know they were getting a replacement. truly above and beyond service- really grateful to all the folks who work here for their attention and kindness in an environment that can't always be easy to work in. I will go out of my way to go to this branch over others in the future! read more

This company knows how to run a business. This location is attentive to their customer needs. When the weather dips below 40 degrees I appreciate when this location pops open their doors and lets us inside before the opening bell. Cashiers and self service lines run smoothly. The food court prepares the best lunch in the world for only $1.50( large hotdog and a refillable soda cup). I can spends hundreds of dollars on bulk items that two people will never finish but I leave knowing I only paid $1.50 for a fine lunch. The other services such as gas and the optometry department are top notch. Gas prices are one of the best prices around. We always get our glasses at the shop inside. Their eye glass prices put the independent eye stores to shame. Costco Optometry also takes insurance. read more

Best Costco in NOVA! Of course it gets crowded sometimes but it's still not as much of a headache even at peak hours. So thankful we never have to step foot in the Sterling location ever again! The tire center here is also fantastic. I found out I had a nail in my tire during a safety inspection and they fit me in same day for a replacement. Highly recommend buying your tires here- not just for their prices, but for their unbeatable warranty. No hassle or fine print surprises. Been a Costco member (started from my parents!) for more than a decade now. I loved Costco as a child and love it even more now as an adult! lol This location has pretty solid customer service with friendly and helpful employees. We've had very few problems at this location, even during the busiest times: they have multiple checkout lanes open including self-checkout kiosks especially during the busy times. There's plenty of parking; you may just have a bit of a walk if there weren't any open spaces close to the entrance. They have plenty of carts for really big bulk shopping and regular bulk shopping (LOL). The food court is awesome: the $1.50 hotdog combo deal is still the best! Honestly, sometimes I come in just to grab a little sundae for a pick-me-up cuz little pick-me-ups are getting really expensive out there nowadays. Their food court people can be a little snippy sometimes, but I understand cuz they always look really busy. Food services are really stressful departments anyways. This location has a pharmacy, tire center, vision center, bakery and a gas station. I have used the pharmacy once years ago, but was not satisfied with the service so I haven't used them since. I'm unsure of the current quality of their services. I have used their vision center a couple years ago as well, and I was quite satisfied with their service. However, with insurance change, I haven't used their services recently. I do know they take donation frames that are donated to a charity that provide corrective glasses to those who need them but are unable to afford them. The bakery is pretty solid (love the chocolate chunk cookies!). The gas station is always top notch, albeit with really long lines at times. The attendants are friendly and always available if you're having issues. Overall, this location is a pretty solid Costco! read more

We had heard rumors that the COSTCO in Leesburg VA had freshly made Ahi Tuna Poke that was as good as that found in Foodland in Hawaii! This warranted further investigation! What did we find? THE RUMORS ARE ALL TRUE!! The fish was fresh and the seasoning was very close to Poke from Hawaii (lots of green onion, kukui nut, sesame and soy and atouch of wasabi). It was a little light on the salt and sesame, but that is easily resolved by adding your own soy sauce and a touch of sesame oil. As usual, the COSTCO warehouse was clean and organized, so we found it near the meat counter near the shrimp cocktail and chicken salads. As a bonus, we also checked out COSTCO in Fairfax, VA and found they had Poke also! The poke passed the biggest test... my wife from Hawaii, who is very picky about her Sushi and Poke since she came to the Mainland. We'll be back for sure! Costco is great for so many things especially when entertaining or when you are raising a family. One of my all time favorites is the large spinach salad. I had a craving for it but couldn't find it. An alternative was a mixed green salad. It looked similar so I decided to give it a try. It was disappointing to me but maybe it's just me. Dressing: creamy Italian instead of poppyseed Big miss. Goat cheese instead of grated mozzarella: not enough goat cheese. Prefer the mozzarella. No bacon. Huge miss. No egg. Huge miss. Bring back the spinach salad! read more

They recently removed the majority of self checkout places. It is an absolute zoo in there with all the people waiting to check out with the regular cashier. Don't shop at this Costco unless you absolutely have to! You might grow old waiting to check out. read more

There's plenty of parking, they keep the carts rounded up and sterilize them, selection of products seems to be better than most including some very fine wines and imported cheeses. Costco Pharmacy Ripp-Off I've been a Costco member for over 20 yrs and I had always used their Pharmacy for my dogs prescriptions because they have a discount program. However their pharmacy is going downhill faster than a falling rock. Two weeks ago I got an antibiotic prescription for my dog. After I got home I realized they had dispensed 2 days less of medication (24 instead 28 tablets). Yesterday I gave them 3 prescriptions thinking I will be getting a lower price than filling the prescription at my vets office. I couldn't be more wrong. My sick mother sent me to Costco with our family membership card to get her medication and groceries. Never ever had any issues shopping at Costco before. I've been shopping here for years with and without my family with me. This woman carding at self checkout said I could not check out and then called her manager over on me where he told me they had a pre Covid rule where I can't use my family card alone. Never had any issues during or before COVID. We live in the same household. My mom called to talk to the manager and he LIED saying he didn't know I was shopping for her. It was the very first thing that I tried to explain while saying it was our family card. Wont be shopping at Costco again. You just lost a family membership and two more in addition. Not only will my mother be leaving Costco, but my fiancé and his family will be ending their memberships as well. As if you're the only bulk sale retailer. Costco is fantastic! The people are always very helpful - even on busy weekends. The selection is amazing, prices are terrific values, and variety is tremendous. The quality & price for steaks is unbeatable. The quality is better than many local restaurants. Even the kiosk salespeople are great. Brendon from ATT got me the latest and greatest Samsung ultra 23 for free after trading my old outdated phone. He quickly guided me through the forms, the $35 activation fee was waived, and I got a $100 Costco gift card. We love the store and highly recommend joining. read more

I went to Costco to buy some stuff for my mom and myself today and when I got to the check out area they looked at my moms card and looked at me and said "who is this?" I respond and told the lady it was my mom, then she took my cart and told me I couldn't purchase anything today because she wasn't with me. So I walked over to memberships and asked about what I could do. The guy that was working with me said that he could ask for a one time exception for me since I don't live near by and I was literally just helping out my mom because she could be at the store physically. He asked the manager and she promptly said no because it was against policy and there is a limit to the number of people that can be on one membership so I would have to buy a new one. I get that you are trying to get people to buy memberships, but I'm literally in college, and there are no Costcos near by. Costco should either have some deal for parents to put their children on their cards until they are settled and can get their own memberships, or I will do what I did today and walk on over to target to spend my $200 :) read more

This Costco is smoking hot with customer service. I had to ask where the peanut butter pretzels got moved to and as usual the Costco gentleman told me the exact new aisle where they got moved. Also Costco finally brought back Jean's Posh Pantry cinnamon crumb cakes and I had to bring one home. Delighted that in an SOS emergency I was able to get a car battery for $110. They have plenty in stock all makes, surprised by how well stocked they were, now kept in the tire center....I looked on line and at dealership where they wanted double for the same battery. I had to put a $15 deposit down on the battery case, but they said it will be fully refunded when I bring the old battery case in for exchange. Good to know in future. read more

If you have, you'll know how he gets stuck in an airport and has to live there. Well I want to be that Victor (keep my spelling though cause I'm cooler than he is) and I want the airport to be Costco cause I love every Costco that I've been too. Everything you need is here; literally everything. Gas, tires, clothing, appliances, food, you name it; get it here for the best deals. My father is a member here so I always tag along with him to purchase food, clothing, household items, etc. The staff knows him since he shops here a lot so I feel like I get the rock star treatment by association when I arrive with him. I also love the customer service and how the employees seem to love their jobs. Costco was rated as one of the best places to work for and I've read articles on how they treat their employees in terms of wages, benefits, culture and work-life balance. Now it's making me want to fill an application out and apply although I'm happy with the current job I have now. For those who complain that it's crowded here, go at night on the weekdays if you can. It's almost empty and you'll pretty much have the whole place to yourself. Just don't be that jerk who stays past closing time cause that is very tempting to do. This review is for their tire center although I'm a big Costco fan! (didn't see a tire center specific option) I originally made a appointment in advance for a flat tire fix with National Tire and Battery. They ended up canceling on me last minute and were pretty rude. I then called Costco who fit me in almost immediately. I was greeted by an awesome staff who had me in and out in 20 minutes start to finish. Not only did they fix the tire I came in for, but found a nail in another tire which they also fixed and finished up by rotating all four tires. Final price? $15. Mechanic met me at the front and made sure I had a full understanding of the work he did. Won't go anywhere else from now on. read more

Me and a couple of buddies were looking forward to getting pizza for dinner, when trying to enter the store we were rudely harassed by a worker who began to question us on our ages, sexuality, and buisness being there. She began to yell at us for entering the store without the card when their policy changed. the worker could have easily approached us to inform of us of the policy change, instead, she screamed at us from across the hall and continued to harass us as we asked what was going on. I don't really like Costco. This trip to Costco was a madhouse. The parking lot was small and you could tell that this one was older. Just like every Costco you would go to; it's busy and really hard to get in and out of the parking lot.
