We tried several flooring companies before but none matched the customer service, quality, and experience as District Floor Depot. They installed fantastic flooring and were able to install the same flooring a couple years later when we decided to upgrade another room I highly recommend District Flooring Depot read more

I got multiple quotes and DFD had the best price, the best sales person/consultation, and showed me the best looking flooring options I saw out of any of them. It was a no brainer to choose them. When it comes to the work itself, the craftsmanship was very good, the cuts are so clean and everything looks amazing. They did very fast work without sacrificing quality. The only areas for improvement I would say they could have are: - Communication during the days of the project, so you know without having to ask when they are coming, leaving, what the progress is, etc. - Ensuring when they put furniture and things back that they pay attention to things like hooking up HDMIs back to the correct places - Doing a better job of cleanup -- they left behind a TON of dust coating everything, sawdust in my basement that I presume blew in from leaving the garage entrance open where they were working, cans/water bottles left behind - Building in measurement/space for lower flooring to not leave a gap in the trim; they came back and did some caulking after I had a water/rain issue, but it still doesn't look as good -- I wish that their molding/trim solution filled the big gaps and I'm going to have to find a way to do that myself To their credit, they were very fast and responsive when I had a water issue and came back out the next day. I also had a crack in my basement ceiling where something pounded through or pounded the drywall loose from the flooring above being done, and they credited me enough money back to be able to have my handyman fix it. Overall, I would definitely use DFD again. read more

Loved that DFD promptly responded with a quote and then performed the floor install expertly!

I was delighted with the selection and service at District Floor Depot. We wanted to replace the floor in our bathroom so we made an appointment to visit the Herndon store, and Natalie showed us hundreds of options at all prices in their spacious showroom. By the next day, we received a very reasonable quote for the work and were able to schedule installation for the following week. Our technician did a superb job, and took care to clean the work area carefully. Our black vinyl flooring looks quite elegant! read more

District Floor Depot did a great job on our hardwood floors. They gave us a good price, showed up on time, cleaned up, finished on time, and did a beautiful job. We are very, very pleased with the result and wish we had moved away from carpet years ago. The installation crew work was very efficient and cleaned up as they worked, so there was not a big mess while they worked. They helped move furniture around, making life easier for us. I would recommend them to anyone doing hardwood floors and will use them again when we redo other floors in our house. read more

Thought their price was a bit higher than Lowe's, I really like their friendly service and they were able to install carpet much faster. Carpet was installed a bit over a week from order. They weren't perfect in cleaning up after carpet install, but I've worked with other carpet installers who didn't even vaccine/clean... so I'm giving them 5 starts for overall nice job. read more

District Floor Depot installed new wood floors in our family room. Every aspect of the process was great, including the sales person, the person who measured the room, the guys who delivered the materials and the installers. On the day of installation, I was surprised and happy to see there were six people working on the job, including a supervisor who was there all day. They discovered that under the carpet there was tile instead of a concrete floor and they had to spend many hours scraping up the tile floor. After discovering this, I thought it may take two days to complete. But to my surprise, they were able to finish the job in one day, which made me very happy. We are very pleased with the quality and look of the floor. I would definitely recommend District Floor Depot. read more

Had an absolutely great experience with District Floor Depot. They were able to flexibly arrange a short and easy estimate where they showed up on time and asked some great questions about the project (which was installing new vinyl flooring in our basement den). They were very responsive in sending the quote and setting the project date. The two team members who did the work were awesome - friendly, knowledgeable, hard working, and very easy to work with. They even cut a custom piece of flooring to cover a floor drain. I couldn't be happier with the results and the overall experience, and I would highly recommend District Floor Depot! read more

The team at District Floor Depot did a great job. They did several jobs, including installing Premium vinyl flooring in our "doggie den" as well as refinish hardwoods throughout the downstairs. They did a wonderful job. Also, they recommended several things that made a huge improvement in the results. We were going to stain our light hardwoods, but they recommended not doing this because of potentials for scratching, especially with the dog. Highly recommend. read more

I came to District Depot after a contractor threw a tantrum and refused to finish the work he started. Everyone I interacted with at this store was above and beyond. They managed to find a true professional who did a magnificent job installing the brick veneer in my home. Mr. Lee and his crew started the next day and finished everything in 2-days, just as they promised they would. I could not have wished for a better service from Mr. Lee and his crew, and the District Depot who hired him for my project. I only have the best things to say about this experience and you can bet this is where I'm going for my next home improvement project. Thank you again to District Depot's Andy and others for the excellent service! read more

DFD installed new flooring as well as refinishing my staircase. Their prices are competitive and the project manager had excellent recommendations for flooring products that would meet my home's unique needs. Start-to-finish I found the team very pleasant to work with - from sales associates, support staff, delivery drivers, and installers. Communication was excellent. When issues arose (it's an old house, they always do) I was presented with options; we literally had a new plan within 15 minutes and the project remained on schedule. I have lived with my new/refreshed floors for a little over a week now and am very pleased with the quality of the installation and finish. read more

District Floor Depot is incredible! We consulted six companies and of those, DFD offered the most thorough evaluation, the lowest price, and the fastest timeline. We had to wait several weeks for the wood to be in stock, but once it arrived the amazing team completed the job (two bedrooms and a tricky staircase) in a single day. And the final product is superb. We could not be happier with how it looks. Everyone on the team with whom we spoke was knowledgeable, responsive, and polite. We are thrilled with the work they did on our floors and would not hesitate to call on them again for future projects! 10/10 would recommend. read more
