Fresh shrimp spring rolls with peanut dipping sauce
    Curt M.

I'm in Rye for business and was looking for a good Thai restaurant. Although the reviews had me a bit concerned, it was getting late and I decided to give it a try anyways. I'm sure glad I did! I didn't run into any of the issues found in the poor reviews. Let me start with the service. I walked in and was immediately greeted and told to sit anywhere. I had multiple folks attending me - setting the place, getting water and menus. The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful (as I was interested in trying something new). Before I left, I was told they have order ahead and delivery capability in case I was interested for future orders. Overall - excellent service. Now for the food. I started with an appetizer - this wasn't anything new for me, I get the same thing every time ... Fresh shrimp spring roll. These were great. The rolls were tight and had plenty of fresh basil. The peanut dipping sauce was standard and very good. In addition to the regular "filling", they added cucumbers - a refreshing twist that I enjoyed. My only nit with the appetizer is that there were 2 spring rolls with each cut into twos. The problem with this is the 2 "middles" are very difficult to keep together. Very minor "nit" that is easily remedied by using a fork to get all the fall out pieces at the end. For the entre I got Pad Woon Sen Chicken - extra spicy. This was an excellent dish with plenty of veggies, minced chicken and glass noodles in a spicy sauce. This was the first time I've tried this dish and would get it again. There were several other dishes I'd love to try ... I'll have to wait until I come back to Rye. Bottom line - the food was excellent and the service great. I would recommend visiting Little Thai Kitchen if you're in Rye and looking for a good meal.

I very much enjoyed my tasty experience at The Little Thai Kitchen! The decor was inviting and fun for a lunch or dinner out. It's been a very long time since I had delicious Tufu green curry and I was NOT disappointed. The vegetables were very fresh, tofu properly prepared, and the green curry bursted with fabulous coconut favor with spice. We ordered 3 Thai Ice Teas which hit the spot. Their service was warm and friendly, please bring cash for the tip tho. I brought my entire family: husband,2 kids, and a newborn baby , everyone found something yummy to eat. I will be returning for date nights.

    Basil chicken lunch for $8.99

We had lunch there for the very first time today since it opened in Rye. We ordered Basil Chicken and chicken pad ted. They both were pretty good (but I like Basil Chicken sauce better). The only drawback is the sauce is on the salty side for my taste and you may need to order an extra bowl of rice to finish the dish! Tried Thai Mango Chicken today and love the sauce although it's a little bit too sweet. My favorite is still the Basil Chicken!

Not as good as the Connecticut place, but still good and fresh food. Nice people and decent service. Pretty pricey, but worth it.

Thai Cookery Street Food has filled its spot, offering dine in, delivery, and pickup orders. Stepping inside of this high-class establishment with beautiful aesthetics that presented a well lite dining experience, through-out the restaurant, I found it to be a very relaxing and a welcoming environment. I was greeted and seated; the staff was very kind. I viewed the menu and chose Thai Crispy chicken rice bowl, the chicken satay, and a salad. The salad had a ginger dressing, and it was really tasty. I had the Satay chicken only because I tasted the Satay chicken at Boon Dee Moo Ka Ta. It tasted nothing like Boon Dee, so I found it the least and it was on the dry side, the Thai Crispy chicken was more on the bland side, but the jalapenos gave it a kick. This setting felt more like speed dating, instead it was speed eating. Everything was rushed and the timing of bringing out the food was way off; the food was brought out within minutes of each other. Maybe because it is Street Food, I mean, it's in the name. I had to rush eat so that the food would not get cold, but I failed. Maybe if I had a shovel, I could pack it in quickly. With a packed mouth, I desire to. Inspire more, Yelp more!

I'm always excited to hear about a new Asian place in the area. Their menu seemed relatively standard for Thai. They're not kidding about their spice levels! Take them seriously. The green curry was ok. There were too many fillers of peppers and bamboo shoots. The Thai fried rice was pretty standard, too. I'd skip the golden triangles, but we actually really liked the wings. We'll be trying more food from this spot - probably some different dishes.

The pad thai was also tasty, with a sauce on the sweeter side. My husband enjoyed the tom yum fried rice. Only downside is you can't specify a spice level when ordering from a delivery app.

It gets great natural light, which makes it feel warm and welcoming right when you walk in. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food is what keeps me coming back. This time I had the flat rice noodles with spicy basil sauce (Pad Kee Mao), and I always go with tofu as my protein because it's that good. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside, exactly how I like my tofu prepared. We also ordered the red snapper larb, which was a standout. They break down the fish, lightly batter it with a thin, delicate crust, fry it, and then toss it in a bright, herbaceous vinaigrette. Super flavorful and really well balanced. I did find it alittle overcooked but not in an offensive way. If you're craving Thai and find yourself near New Rochelle, I highly recommend checking this place out. It's about a 15-20 minute drive and super convenient from Throggs Neck and even closer from Pelham Bay.

If you dine in, you get a choice of a free appetizer (spring roll or salad). They also have lunch specials from Tuesday - Friday which is pretty awesome. THIS MADE MY NIGHT! I ordered the green curry with tofu which was so yummy, flavorful and comforting as well as the spring rolls. Loved the sauce! For dessert I got the mango with sweet coconut sticky rice which was INCREDIBLE. This is absolutely worth it. It's so light, sweet and delicious.
